WEATHERING HEIGHTS
CLIMATE CHANGE VS. CLIMATE STRANGE
MONOLOGUE WRITTEN BY CLYDE LEWIS
When I was a young boy, I wanted to be a TV weatherman. I started with an interest in storms in the 3rd grade and in the 4th grade my teacher Mrs. Burton encouraged my interest in the weather by taking me on a tour of Television station and meeting the local weatherman, Mark Eubank, in Salt Lake City. I studied weather throughout my entire time in public school and eventually was the High School weather man for the districts television news curriculum.
While I am not a college trained meteorologists or climatologist, I do know how storm systems work especially, thunderstorms, tornadoes, and hurricanes.
My first introduction to the study of storms was in the writings of Ivan Ray Tannehill who was a weather officer in the Signal Corps in World War I.
He was one of the first weather and storm observers to point out a climate warming surge in the United States that was trending since the 1860’s. In the 1930’s and 1940’s, the United States was experiencing a three degree raise in the temperature. Dr. Tannehill and others addressed the issue at The American Meteorological Society convention in Washington, D.C.
Meteorologists then attributed the climate swing to an increase in active space weather from the sun which changed the ionospheric plasma, thus creating the heat surge.
As with most climate anomalies the pendulum swung back to cooler temperatures and this led to speculation that the earth was heading to a mini ice age.
Concerns about climate models have always been a topic of discussion amongst meteorologists for some time, however they have never really become political until just before World War II.
The history can be traced back to Geunther Schwab an Austrian Nazi who had been a strong nature lover since boyhood, and by the 1920’s became very active in the emerging environmental movement in Austria. Many greens or environmentalists joined the Nazi party and pushed for the hereditary idea about the environment. Schwab was a firm supporter of Hitler’s Blut und Boden or “blood and soil.” Blood and soil ideologies consisted of a mixture of Eugenics and environmental resource claims of Aryan stewardship.
It was Nazi Germany’s wild romantic belief in an Aryan cultural superiority based on Nature’s Laws, all dressed up in political; pseudo- scientific biology and often encouraged with ecological apocalyptic ideas of global warming and cooling because certain people “Jews” were a burden on resources and the environment. Some will argue that many people believed that in order to bring balance to nature that was out of control Jews and Slavs needed to be murdered.
This was the “green” ideology that was embraced and with the apocalyptic rantings of “green” Germans, the pogroms were carried out. This according to them would ensure a healthier planet and ease the resource depletion on the rest of the world.
In 1958, Guenther Schwab wrote the book, Dancing with the Devil. The book actually illustrated the ideas of modern day anthropogenic Global Warming as outlined by Nazi green party members during the days of the push for Blood and Soil laws.
It was one of the first attempts at illustrating the idea of the possibility that minor global warming comes from industrial pollution.
Schwab’s opinions ring all too familiar with the propaganda of today’s Global Warming theorists that there is a fragile relationship between oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Schwab had written that he believed that the earth would only have 100 years left and that industrial pollutants would cause the continuing rise of carbon dioxide in the air.
According to Schwab “This will absorb and hold fast the warmth given out by the Earth. This will cause the climate to become milder and the Polar ice will begin to thaw. As a result, there will be a rise in the level of the ocean and whole continents will be flooded.”
Many people are unaware that Geunther Schwab the grandfather of Global Warming theory survived the war and went on to be on the advisory panel of The Society of Biological Anthropology, Eugenics and Behavior Research. Schwab was especially concerned with over population and espoused eugenics as a way to prevent an environmental crisis and reduce the strain on resources.
Last week, climate scientists explained how Global Warming, while not the “cause” of superstorm Harvey, had worsened every aspect of it. This week, scientists have been explaining how climate change helped juice Irma into one of the strongest super-hurricanes on record, with the most sustained high-intensity winds the world has ever seen.
CNN itself talked to several climate scientists and reported their conclusion that the warming Gulf temperatures, which were up to 3.6°F warmer than normal “could be a pressure cooker for key ingredients of a hurricane: extreme winds, rainfall and storm surge.
It seems that this same 3 degree rise that Ivan Ray Tanehill observed has happened again, but this time it is being used as a cornerstone of truth to convince people that the new politically charged climate science fears need to tranquilized with the funding that was eliminated when President Trump pulled out of the Paris Climate Accords.
After Hurricane Harvey devastated Texas, and even bigger storm was on the way named Irma. Irma intensified to a category five and leveled areas of the Caribbean with her ferocity.
It was reported that Irma had a low frequency sound that accompanied her - a hum and force that was described as sounding like an alien ship from a science fiction movie.
The storm was said to have triggered seismic monitors creating low level earthquakes.
The build up and anticipation of such a storm was terrifying in and of itself.
On September 7th just days before Irma made landfall in the United States, Senator Diane Feinstein had tweeted that the Appropriations Committee voted today to fund the U.N. Climate Change panel.
This senate vote 16 to 14 to contribute $10 million to the United Nations’ climate change agency.
The U.N. agency is responsible for international climate agreements like the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement. The United States never joined Kyoto, and President Trump pledged earlier this year to pull out of Paris.
Trump called for an end to U.N. climate funding in his first budget proposal earlier this year. The attitude apparently has changed because of the hurricane onslaught.
Coincidentally after it was announced that the money was going to be appropriated for UN Climate change agency – Hurricane Irma weakened from a category 5 to a Category 3 before she made landfall in Florida.
Originally, Miami was expected to bear the brunt of the storm once it hit Florida but by Saturday morning, the storm’s trajectory had shifted westward, with Tampa, the Gulf Coast, and other parts of South Florida (including the Florida Keys) in line for the worst effects.
A life-threatening surge of 10 to 15 feet of water was forecast, with residents of Naples and Marco Island told to move away from the water.
Irma then weakened down to a Category 2 storm with sustained winds of 110 mph. A tide gauge measured water 2.2 feet above mean higher high water, which represented a 7-foot increase in the previous hour and a half, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Now Hurricane Jose is expected to continue weakening as it meanders far northeast of the Bahamas for the next couple of days.
The coincidence of a monster hurricane weakening after 10 million dollars has been promised to the UN and another storm slowing down and eventually dying, has not been ignored by geoenginerring storm crows who see this as glaring evidence that weather modification and geoengineering was used to force multiply two storms, Harvey and Irma and the weaken Irma and Jose after the money was approved for the UN Climate Science Agency.
Believe it or not, over the past 5 years, the physical extent of “cold fronts” has grown from the size of a state or two to spanning the North American continent and beyond.
Back in 2011, it was reported that NOAA had announced that there had been a recent increase in the abundance of particles high in the atmosphere. They concluded that these particles had offset about a third of the current climate warming influence of carbon dioxide (CO2) change during the past decade.
They concluded that the particles were aluminum and that they were reflecting back into the stratosphere some of the heat that contributed to Global Warming.
They also were investigating the possibility that the particles were the result of aerosols; however, the aerosols were said to be from volcanic eruptions. Geoengineering investigators have said that the change has been attributed to rogue spraying of chemtrails or even detonating aerosol bombs over areas in order to enhance storms or even steer them into other areas.
Meanwhile, a clip from a 2013 CBS interview with Michio Kaku has been making the rounds on the internet and it has mistakenly has been attributed to possible weather modification of Harvey and Irma — the video is not related directly to recent events, but it does indicate that at least one scientists is aware that weather medication is possible with the use of lasers and storm steering is not just science fiction.
You cannot ignore the fact that a mainstream media outlet aired a story about weather modification, even if it is not necessarily related to the recent storms.
Beyond the veracity of Michio Kaku’s lazer stories is the definitive report on force multiplying storms and using Mother Nature as a weapon.
According to the executive summary we read that US aerospace forces can “own the weather” by capitalizing on emerging technologies and focusing development of those technologies to war-fighting applications. Such a capability offers the war fighter tools to shape the battle space in ways never before possible. It provides opportunities to impact operations across the full spectrum of conflict and is pertinent to all possible futures.
A high-risk, high-reward endeavor, weather-modification offers a dilemma not unlike the splitting of the atom. While some segments of society will always be reluctant to examine controversial issues such as weather-modification, the tremendous military capabilities that could result from this field are ignored at our own peril.
From enhancing friendly operations or disrupting those of the enemy via small-scale tailoring of natural weather patterns to complete dominance of global communications and counterspace control, weather-modification offers the war fighter a wide-range of possible options to defeat or coerce an adversary.
What is even more disturbing is how since the beginning of September there have been 27 disasters that have plagued the Earth; many of which have been attributed to the alleged 3 degree rise in the Earth’s temperature.
Besides the two major hurricanes, Harvey and Irma There have unprecedented earthquake swarms, all over the United States—a massive earthquake in Mexico and in Japan and wildfires roaring out of control all over the Northwest United States.
The Earth is on fire from California to Siberia.
Texas and Florida are under water.
Islands in the Caribbean have been flattened. India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, experience record monsoons and massive death toll. Sierra Leone and Niger are experiencing massive floods, mudslides, and deaths in the thousands.
Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Bosnia, Croatia, and Serbia melted in the death grip of a triple digit heat wave, dubbed Lucifer.
When I was in San Francisco last month for the geoengineering conference the temperatures were mild and then due to the fog the temperatures cooled to 47 degrees. The n soared again into the triple digits.
Today, September 11th, 2017 – a strange weather anomaly hits San Francisco. Strong wind gusts ripped through concentrated pockets of the Bay Area—while other areas were completely still.
Keep in mind that the city of San Francisco is a relatively small area.
The National Weather Service reports that a gust of 54 mph roared through Pebble Beach at 2:30 a.m., while only 10 minutes away in Monterey conditions remained completely calm.
The weather service said that the wind was not caused by a mini tornado.
The first gusts roared through Pebble Beach and the southwesterly winds traveled north reaching up to 40 mph in Santa Cruz, up to 37 mph in Los Gatos and at the San Jose Airport.
The weather service recorded the last gust from the event at 3:30 a.m.; it was a 35 mph wind at the Golden Gate Bridge.
The winds knocked down trees and power lines. PG&E reported 11,000 customers without power at one point.
The event lasted about two hours.
When it comes to weather and earthquakes – we need to ask ourselves just what is normal anymore.
In the end, the federal government will likely step in and spend a lot of money that it does not have to rebuild and restore the communities that Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma have destroyed. But we are already 20 trillion dollars in debt, and it is being projected that we will continue to add another trillion dollars to that total every year for the foreseeable future.
At some point all of this debt will simply become completely unsustainable.
Of course the major disasters will just inevitably keep on coming. As Politico has pointed out, major natural disasters seem to just keep on getting bigger, and they seem to be hitting us more frequently than in the past.
Counting Harvey, the U.S. this year has experienced 10 weather-related events each costing $1 billion or more. The country averaged fewer than six big-dollar storms, flood, fires and freezes a year between 1980 and 2016, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Between 2012 and 2016, however, weather catastrophes occurred almost twice as often.
The weather above and the Earth below have now become less stable – and we are beginning to hear the word apocalypse more often than not.
And as many times I have heard this is normal, statistically we can now say that it isn’t.
