On October 21, 1966, one of the worst disasters in British history occurred. In the small village of Aberfan, a huge stockpile of coal and refuse collapsed, burying a school and killing 144 people, including 116 schoolchildren. The event traumatized the Welsh village because every family experienced a death and the disaster literally destroyed an entire generation of children there.
A British psychologist named J.C. Barker assumed that since this event caused such a strong emotional storm, it was very likely that some people in the town might have had a premonition about the tragedy.
Barker used the media to ask if anyone in the town had had such a premonition about disaster.
At first there was no reply from the villagers; then, a number of people came forward to report various visions. Although they differed in content, they were all about the same main event.
For example, a 47–year–old woman claimed that she had stood in Church and told her congregation about seeing an old school building in a valley.
She related how she had seen an avalanche of black snow moving down the mountain, heading for a little boy, who stood there watching the blackness move towards him. She remembered seeing various rescue operations moving into the town. They were saving the young boy. One of the rescuers was wearing a strange pointed hat.
She had this premonition the day before the disaster. During one of the television reports, there was indeed a news reporter speaking with a young boy as he was being carried out by a rescue worker who wore a pointed hat.
The boy told the reporters that he had watched as the black avalanche headed towards him.
The mother of a dead child told Barker that the day before the disaster, her daughter Eryl Mai Jones suddenly started talking about death, saying that she was not afraid of dying.
Her mother was taken aback by the strange conversation. Why would her young daughter talk about death?
Her daughter had a precognitive dream.
Eryl Mai went off to Pantglas Junior School that day as usual. Nothing unusual happened.
The next day, Friday, October 21, she did the same. But at 9:15 that morning, the coal tip gave way, sending tons of coal sludge, water, and boulders onto the village below. The avalanche mowed down everything in its path, including stone houses and trees, and swept toward the Pantglas School, where it crushed the back of the school.
Eryl Mai was buried alive.
Another resident, Alexander Venn, received a strong premonition that there would be a coal–mining disaster. He told his wife that he believed that something terrible was going to happen, and it wouldn't be far from there.
The reports of premonitions came from all over Wales and England. One lady had a nightmare in which she suffocated in "deep blackness." Another dreamed of a small child being buried by a large landslide. Someone clearly saw a schoolhouse buried by an avalanche of coal, and rescue workers digging frantically for survivors, and someone else woke up from a nightmare where she was being buried alive.
On the morning of the disaster, Sybil Brown awoke startled from a dream in which she saw children being overcome by "a black, billowing mass."
Probably the clearest of the premonitions was reported by a man in northwestern England who claimed that the night before the disaster, he had a dream which consisted only of letters being spelled out in bright light, A–B–E–R–F–A–N.
At the time, the dream had no meaning to him. Hours later, he would realize the meaning of his eerie premonition.
There were so many claims of premonitions all over England that three independent organizations were set up to verify and listen to the claims of these people who had suffered.
J.C. Barker recorded at least 24 premonitions and precognitive dreams prior to the event.
He also set up a registry where people could register their dreams and premonitions for further study.
Many people lived with the fear that eventually all of their horrific nightmares would come true and that there were extra–sensitive souls who were somehow being shown the future. They believed that each nightmare was trying to warn everyone of the horrible fate that awaited them.
The disaster was the result of decades of denial. The only reason the slag was allowed to accumulate over the town was purely economic. I am sure there was the typical "know–it–all" who claimed that there was nothing to worry about. That same "know–it–all" probably ended up burying his child in an early grave.
I have always been fascinated by premonitions of impending disaster and what might be behind them. Sometimes I wonder if most of what we see as premonition is characterization brought on by the idea that we secretly knew what was to come and yet we lived in the moment up until the tragic event takes place.
Premonitions can be visions. They can be shadows of what is to come and they can appear before us in a ghostly fashion.
In 1969, Sharon Tate was murdered by the Manson family. Her throat was cut, and, according to the killers, they had planned to cut her baby out of her womb, but there hadn't been time to carry out the horrible deed. The year before she was brutally slain, she glimpsed a ghostly image of the horrific fate that awaited her.
One night she was staying at the home of Jay Sebring, a hairdresser who had bought the home of actress Jean Harlow. Sharon was feeling a little anxious and she couldn't figure out why. Suddenly, a person that she described as a "creepy little man" came into the bedroom. The man ignored her and wandered about the room, apparently looking for something.
It was rumored that the Benedict Canyon home was haunted by the ghost of Paul Bern, who committed suicide on September 5, 1932, just four months after his marriage to Harlow.
Sharon realized that what she saw was the phantom image of Bern and hurriedly put on her robe and ran out of the bedroom.
Sharon descended the staircase but stopped halfway. She saw waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs a strange dark figure. It appeared to be tied to the staircase posts. As she edged closer to get a better look, she noticed that the ghostly figure had had its throat cut.
Sharon could not tell if it was a man or a woman.
The image disappeared and Sharon moved quickly into the living room to pour herself a drink. She looked around but could not find the alcohol.
It occurred to her to press on an area near the bookcase where there was a hidden wet bar. As she nervously poured the drink, she accidentally tore away a piece of the wallpaper at the base of the bar.
In the morning, Sharon was convinced the whole episode had been a terrible nightmare. But when she looked at the bar, she noticed that the wallpaper had been torn away from that spot. This blood–chilling vision matched something that had once occurred. She had been visited by a specter that showed her a future event.
Sharon Tate had had a very eerie premonition. She did not know what it meant but history can only speculate that what she saw was her own death.
Premonitions can generate coincidences.
Sharon Tate, at the time, was considered one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. She was married to Roman Polanski, who directed Rosemary's Baby, a movie about a child conceived by the devil. The film was shot at the Dakota Apartments in New York. The Tate–La Bianca murders happened a year after the film was made. The maid that first found the bodies at 10050 Cielo Drive was Winifred Chapman.
A young, blonde woman, dressed only in a flowered bra and panties, was lying in a fetal position in front of the fireplace. She was heavily pregnant. She was also soaked in blood. A white nylon rope had been looped around her neck, over a rafter and then around the neck of a man who lay four feet away. The blonde woman of course was Sharon Tate and the man that was roped to her was Jay Sebring.
It was the image she was shown by the phantom visit of Paul Bern.
Tate was murdered by the Manson Family, who were inspired to call their murder spree "Helter Skelter".
Helter Skelter was a song on the Beatles' White Album.
The Beatles were one of the two great influences on the thinking of Charles Manson, the other being the Book of Revelation. According to Family members, Manson would most often quote "the Beatles and the Bible." He claimed, after the murders, that he had heard messages in the White Album that told him to kill.
The two influences were linked, for Manson had also seen the four Beatles members as being the "four angels" referred to in Revelation 9.
Revelation 9 also tells of "locusts" which he interpreted to be "beetles", echoing the band's name. The apocalyptic scripture describes prophets as having "faces as the faces of men" but with "the hair of women." In Revelation 9, the four angels had "breastplates of fire" which he interpreted to be electric guitars.
While "Helter Skelter" was painted in blood on the refrigerator of the La Bianca home, it was the White Album's track "Revolution 9 " that may have triggered Manson to tell his followers to go and kill. "Revolution 9" was not a song. It was an audio montage of shouts, classical music, exploding bombs, soccer yells, crowd sounds, car horns, crying babies, hymns, oinking pigs, dialogue from the BBC, and the repeated words "Number 9, Number 9, Number 9." A man's voice appears to say "Rise." Then we hear the sounds of machine gun fire and screams.
The word "Rise" was also printed in blood at the La Bianca home. Prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi believed that it was "Revolution 9" that inspired Manson to "rise up."
Number 9 Number 9 Number 9.
Some people have played songs like "Revolution 9" backwards and have heard the words "Turn me on dead man" repeat over and over again. It is quite clear and it seems to be intentional.
It ushered in other attempts at apocalyptic screed in music. The Rolling Stones gave us "Sympathy for the Devil", reminding us once again of the coven's creed in Rosemary's baby that "God is Dead."
Number 9 Number 9 Number 9.
Number 9 is the chapter of the Book of Revelation that is all wound up in mysticism and cryptic dreams that prompt us to acknowledge the paranormal aspects of an apocalyptic demise. It talks about turbulent times and the rise of the angels of war and the breastplates of fire.
The most frightening truth of all is that Revelation 9 is an answer to an Old Testament revelation given by Daniel.
Michael will rise up with three others:
Who is Michael the Archangel?
Many religious types will tell you that he is the Archangel who fights the Dragon. He is a warlike angel. In ancient Hebrew astronomy, Michael was represented as Mars, or as a great scarred warrior.
Manson was waiting for the smoke to rise from a pit or a hole. He thought that Michael the Archangel would come and the war would begin. It didn't happen. But Manson heard voices telling him that Revelation 9 (Helter Skelter) was about to happen and that he would have to fulfill that prophecy.
If you were to pick up a bible and read Revelation 9, you would see just how frightening the chapter is. It announces the fifth trumpet, a star falling from the heavens and the opening of a hole in the earth that releases smoke and ash.
No wonder it inspired Manson. It seems to have inspired terrorists in the September 11th attacks.
9:11 — the month and day of an event that destroyed a great city: September is the 9th month, and the 11th day was a Tuesday.
Tuesday is the third day of the week. In the Roman calendar, the corresponding day was Dies Martis, the day of Mars, associated with Ares, the God of War.
Abaddon is literally translated to be the destroyer, the angel of the bottomless pit. The angel Apollyon is described as the king of the locusts, which rose from the smoke of the bottomless pit at the sounding of the fifth trumpet.
Coincidentally, in 2003, E! Entertainment Television ranked the 101 Most Shocking Moments in Entertainment. The murder of Sharon Tate was listed at number nine. Number 9 Number 9 Number 9.
There are also some other coincidences linking the White Album to the Helter Skelter murders. The song "Piggies" by George Harrison seemed to influence Manson and his family. Manson believed that the PIGS were the establishment that was about to come down hard on the black people.
The word PIGS was written in blood on the walls of the house on Cielo Drive.
On the White album there is a song called Sexy Sadie.
Coincidentally, this was the nickname of Susan Atkins, Sharon Tate's killer.
"Sadie Mae Glutz" was the alias given to the Atkins by Manson long before the appearance of the White Album song "Sexy Sadie"!
"Dear Prudence" another White Album song, was actually written for Mia Farrow's younger sister. Mia Farrow played Rosemary in "Rosemary's Baby".
In 1980, John Lennon was murdered at the door of the building he lived in, the Dakota Apartments, the very place Rosemary's baby was filmed. His assassin was Mark David Chapman. Remember who found the bodies in Manson murders?
Winifred Chapman, a maid hired by Polanski.
The coincidences are far too close to be completely accidental.
Sometimes premonitions speak softly and we somehow hear the inner voice telling us to prepare for something that is to come.
It is hard to tell the difference between a rational fear and a premonition. I have shown you with these examples that our dreams are real premonitions and that people have these types of hints all the time.
Many people will claim that premonitions are nothing but an unnatural fear. However fears are usually vague and not unusual. Anxiety and feelings of panic have become the norm in our increasingly hostile society. For some people it is becoming harder to trust their gut instinct.
Premonitions come on spontaneously. This is why, for most people, the problem is not recognizing them, but acting upon them. These premonitions appear out of nowhere and most of the time we don't know what they mean until we are experiencing them outside of the dream theater.
They are simply scenes from a memory, and most of the time they are not so disastrous. They wind up as experiences of déjà vu, an inexplicable feeling of familiarity.
Such is the case with a premonition I had in December of 2003.
Every year I sit and write an article on my website that talks about future events. In December of 2003 during the Christmas weekend I had a dream. It was similar to a dream that one of my friends had during the same week.
Each dream consisted of large rocks or snowballs, and even in one case a giant pig–faced dragon creature flying through the sky. In each dream there was a Mountain involved, a volcanic eruption and an Earthquake.
In each case the person had to go underground. In my friend's dream she was forced to hide underground and had to lift a manhole cover off of a street and crawl into the hole and live in the sewer until the pig–face dragon fell from the sky.
I decided to write down what I had seen in my dream.
It all sounded a bit weird but it was something that I thought would be important to write down as a possible premonition of my New Year. I did not know what it meant and the best I could do was speculate.
Many weeks later there was a buzz on the internet about a Ham radio broadcast that was called the Snowball Burrows broadcast.
On January 26th, 2004 ham radio operators were alarmed to hear a coded message on 11.176 MHz, USB. The broadcast began at 0:5:00 UTC. It was intercepted by network operator BURROW or BURRO. The broadcast was made by a broadcaster called SNOWBALL NET.
The Department of Defense Emergency Action Message System broadcasts on a frequency of 11.176MHz. The broadcasts are heard 24 hours a day seven days a week on upper sideband.
A message speaking of an impact event on a Department of Defense channel seemed a bit peculiar.
I had determined that, if the broadcast pertained to something real, 146 days later there would be some sort of impact event. I had wondered if this "Snowball" broadcast was related to my dream.
I was thinking that perhaps some strange comet or asteroid was heading to earth. I wasn't alone. There were several others who were having premonitions about a catastrophic event occurring in the summer or fall.
In the months that followed, terrorism was front–page news, and any news about anomalous activity from space seemed to be blacked out. I was noticing some strange weather patterns and was a bit curious as to what was happening to the magnetic field of the planet. I was worried that perhaps the sun or the earth was responding to changes in our solar system.
Even though a few people who considered themselves down–to–earth scientists told me nothing weird was happening, I chose to think of my dream as foreshadowing, and wondered what it was supposed to be about.
The Snowball broadcast may have been the catalyst of an Internet scare perpetuated by a man calling himself "Aussie Bloke." He claimed that circumstantial world events were evidence that the Government was preparing for an impact event some time in late June.
Reading of this scare, I realized that the cosmic joke had begun and the trickster was beginning to do his handiwork.
There were scores of reports coming in about mammoth fireballs coming down from the sky. The first reports came from the Northwest near where I live.
KIRO–TV in Seattle reported that witnesses along a 60–mile swath of the Puget Sound region from the Tacoma area to Whidbey Island and as far as 260 miles to the east, said the sky lit up brilliantly, and many reported booms as if from one or more explosions.
Cameras all over the area captured the moment. There was an immediate flash that was brighter than any lightning and the glow lasted for about 5 or 6 seconds before it disappeared.
It was a huge bolide meteor, reported to be the size of a car, traveling across the sky. After this report, several similar reports from around the world appeared on the Internet, and the mainstream news was not paying attention.
They obviously did not want anyone to panic.
I was beginning to think that my premonition was being fulfilled. The only things that weren't happening were major earthquakes or volcanic eruptions. There was also the question of the "pig dragon" in my friend's dream and what its significance was.
I talked with David Talbot, whom I had known for several years. Talbot had produced a remarkable film about catastrophes and ancient cataclysms called "Remembering the End of the World." I told him about the dream that I'd had, and the images of the snowball and the pig–faced dragon that flew over the smoking mountain in my friend's dream.
Talbot has written that in ancient times, dragons were actually comets, or bodies from space, and that their tails were the trails left behind. With his theories and discussions I was able to do research on the pig–faced dragon and found some very interesting coincidences. In India the pig was an avatar of the gods.
This appears to be a description of a bolide exploding in the atmosphere. This may explain why pigs are considered a foul animal in some parts of the world. The flying pig, or great pig–dragon, was be a harbinger of doom. In old Ireland, the appearance of a flying "black pig" in the sky was considered a bad omen. The reference, of course, was a metaphor for the apocalypse.
The Celts had roasted pigs and swine as their favorite meat. The pig and boar are frequent figures in Celtic metalwork art. They, too, looked to the skies, and there were myths about the ancient Gods of War, and of pigs and their relationship to Armageddon. They would worship the god Teutates, or Toutatis, a warlike god similar to Mars, and Moccos, similar to Mercury and represented as the image of a Black Pig.
The Black Sabbath song "War Pigs" has an apocalyptic theme that connects the gods of war to pigs:
William Butler Yeats wrote many poems about the apocalypse, and in "The Wind Among The Reeds" he used the "Black Pig" as a multidimensional symbol for the coming Armageddon. In the 1896 poem "The Valley of the Black Pig" he wrote:
Spears fall from the skies, and like dewdrops hitting the earth, could mean a meteor shower or perhaps bombs striking a city.
Great war and calamity begins, perhaps Armageddon.
As the wars go on, we still work to feed our families and we continue to endure knowing full well that our time is short.
Yeats points out that, in the end, empires must fall to the wrath of the universe, or the wrath of God or Deus Irae.
Around 3500 BC, the Chinese drew dragons with pig faces. They also used the symbol of the pig dragon in mystic rituals. The "pig dragon" symbol was craved into jade and is found in Hogshan cultures, used in burials and death rituals. To protect their dead from evil influences, the ancient Chinese placed jade above, below and at the four directions of the body during burials.
It appears that my friend who had the dream of the flying pig dragon was seeing a great meteor or comet headed for the mountain. She was told that she had to take cover underground and that the earth was about to tremble, a sign that trouble was beginning.
All during June and July there were reports of large bolides being seen in the Northwest, The Southwest and The Northeast. Iran reported large fireballs falling from the sky and Spain also experienced the same phenomenon. Australia also was seeing fireballs, there was one reported to be the size of a house that came down over Australia.
This could very well have been the fulfillment of my premonition, but the only part that fit was the "Snowball" reference. Nothing else in the precognitive dream had happened.
At the end of September I took a vacation to Sunriver, Oregon, where I could collect my thoughts and relax. The vacation was a great escape from all of the politics and war raging in the world.
Most of the time I was unable to get any news. I decided that I could hide away, rest for a moment in the forest, and see the pristine earth. The Sunriver resort is near Bend, Oregon and is situated near a volcanic area with scores of inactive volcanoes.
While we were there I was able to go to a star party on September 26th at the observatory on site. Powerful telescopes were set up so that we could view constellations and the planets. For the first time in my life, I saw the moon close up. I was able to see star clusters and systems and realized just how small we are in the vast universe.
The moon looked like a huge bright ball of Ice in the sky. I was fascinated by it. I kept looking at it over and over again.
I remembered that we were nearing the time of the appearance of Toutatis, the asteroid that was going to pass the earth. I was told it could be seen with a telescope.
Unfortunately, it was not visible at the time. It was due to pass the Earth on September 29th, 2004.
Toutatis of course was named after the Celtic god of War.
On September 27th, 2004, three of my friends and I went to explore the extinct volcanoes in the area. We climbed a huge black volcanic dome and looked down at the destruction it had caused. The area looked like the brimstone of a bottomless pit, grown over with grass and sagebrush. Little squirrels would climb up the sides to beg for food. After that, we drove over to the Lava Tube area where a mile–long cave existed. All of us went into the cave. It was dark and the temperature had dropped to near freezing as we moved further and further underneath the earth.
The cave's floor had jagged rocks. Though the tube eventually smoothed out the further we traveled, I was not wearing proper shoes, and did not dare go any further than a few hundred feet away from the opening. But for a moment I was in complete darkness beneath the earth.
The next morning it was time to return home.
Things were getting back to normal and I decided that it was time to update myself on what was happening in the world. At about 10:15 AM it was reported that a 6.0 earthquake hit California along the San Andreas Fault. The same day it was reported that Mt. St. Helens was quaking as well and scientists were expecting the mountain to erupt again.
On September 29th, Toutatis moved quietly through space and no one really paid that much attention. They were paying more attention the 5.0 aftershocks in California and the quakes in Washington.
I had buried myself in my studies and prepared for my show. I stumbled upon a very interesting coincidence.
Teutates, or Toutatis, the asteroid named after the Celtic God of War passed near the earth on the day of St. Michael the archangel or "Michaelmas." Archangel Michael was also the messenger who warned Lot to flee from the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and the same archangel spoken of in Revelation 9 as the answer to the prophecy of Daniel.
On October 1st, 2004, Mount St. Helens erupted and sent smoke and ash into the air near my home here in the Northwest.
Then the realization hit me.
I saw a large snowball in the sky. My friend saw a flying dragon with a pig's face.
Both of us saw Toutatis.
In both dreams the flying object or creature hit a mountain and triggered an avalanche. An avalanche would look like a cloud rising from the mountain. It would be white and billowy
Both of us saw volcanic eruptions and earthquakes that would reshape land masses.
Days before, I was in a cave near a group of inactive volcanoes.
I was underground!
That was my vision.
In December of 2003 I saw the last week of September and the beginning of October of 2004 all in a dream. I did not know the context of the vision; I only wrote what I saw.
I recorded it at the first of the year.
I have talked about it and wondered about it many times on my show. I am now beginning to see closure.
There is a warning though. If the patterns are correct and if my vision paralleled something that was wired into me from some past life or experience, then I must confess that the next few months may be turbulent for the world.
The foundation of all we cling to will begin to crumble and many of us may see the world as a place gone out of control.
I urge you to read the article that I wrote in 2003 called "Deus Irae 2004: Let's Get Ready to Crumble." There you will see that I am not lying and that I have recorded all of the things that I have seen in our future for this year.
Many of them, like the vision of the snowball, have already happened.
