OBAMAGEDDON: ACT I: THE FINAL CURTAIN
I told myself that I was going to relax and take a break from all things that had to with the show over the weekend. I had been very tired and really wasn’t at all pleased with the idea that a lot of work related activities were pulling me away from home and from those I love. Well things don’t often turn out as planned. I wound up on the computer preparing for another show however I ran into a conflict. I was about to talk about a number of subjects, but there was a few movements I saw in the news that were done on what is known as “dumping day.’
It is a strategy that government sometimes does some interesting moves on Friday evenings so that the “news event” is forgotten about over the weekend because most people who are smart take a break and are not putting their nose into news papers, or internet news sites.
The first thing that caught my eye was a story about President Obama meeting with British PM David Cameron. This of course was normal but the headline was stern and direct about the window of opportunity for a diplomatic solution to the Iranian nuclear threat was shrinking. Obama reiterated that all options were on the table for preventing the country from going nuclear, but he said he preferred to persuade it not to develop a nuclear weapon.
In so many words Obama was hinting that the window will close and there will be no more discussion, the world will see a new war and that war will be our biggest mistake and probably the first act in our demise as a country.
A classified war simulation exercise held a few weeks ago to assess the American military’s capabilities to respond to an Israeli attack on Iran forecast that the strike would lead to a wider regional war, which could draw in the United States and leave hundreds of Americans dead.
However it seems that the media are cheerleading the effort, the American people have not been told about these findings and there have been other indications that what is happening behind the scenes is activities that could promote an all out provocation from Iran.
The Military has already begun its dress rehearsal for war with Iran and officials have emphasized that the exercise’s results were not the only possible outcome of a real-world conflict. But the game has raised fears among top American planners that it may be impossible to preclude American involvement in any escalating confrontation with Iran. That could prove perilous for the United States.
As the reports of a dress rehearsal were being reported in the New York times there were other indications that the warnings have gone unheeded. The actors and scenery have all been put in their places and the movement to push Iran to action have now become the norm.
Iran has faced international sanctions for more than three decades, which have hurt, but never crippled its economy. Iran has held restraint and have not retaliated however this may change because of a move that will cripple them and their commerce.
.On Saturday march 17th, 2012 many Iranian banks, including the Central Bank, have been refused access to a worldwide financial messaging system thatundefineds used to arrange transfers of money.
The system is called SWIFT, the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, which is run by a company based in Belgium. A message sent through SWIFT contains all the codes and other information needed to move sums of money from one bank to another.
To comply with the latest financial sanctions imposed on Iran by the European Union, SWIFT said it would have to disconnect about 30 Iranian banks from its services.
I am sure that many people will applaud the move, however this is a move that will eventually play out poorly as a new Pearl harbor could erupt in the Strait of Hormuz.
I guess the acceptance of such draconian measures depends upon how you feel about the European Union, and the obvious attempts at provoking a war with Iran.
Government is obviously composed of corrupt and greedy people, and therefore they are a legitimate object of criticism and constant exposure. If your own political party is in power, then it is easier for you to say that all things are moving smoothly. Yet it has been demonstrated time infinitum that the State has become infiltrated by individuals with secret societal philosophies that if implemented can dramatically change the way we live. Their party affiliation has no bearing on their hidden agendas. Those that hide in the shadows make policy in order to secure the state power hold and continuity of corrupt government.
All of these chess moves and theater have now seemed to provoke a response from Barack Obama. He has now signed an executive order clarifying the Unitary Executive and the position of the Executive branch in case of all out war or crisis in the United States.
Barack Obama signed an Executive Order stating that the President and his specifically designated Secretaries now have the authority to commandeer all domestic U.S. resources including food and water and other resources. The executive order is just an update to other such hidden unitary executive ordrs that have been on the books since the 1930’s. The Unites States has actually been under a national security threat since the end of World war II when we made bargains with Nazis to work within the ranks of the CIA.
The mandate from the president declares that he and his Secretaries have the authority to seize all transportation, energy, and infrastructure inside the United States as well as forcibly induct/draft American citizens into the military. The executive order also contains a vague reference in regards to harnessing American citizens to fulfill “labor requirements” for the purposes of national defense.
Much like Hitler recruited the “worker solders’” that would carry shovels instead of guns to demonstrate that commerce, manufacturing, farming and all other goods and services were for the betterment of the Nationalist Socialist movement.
The National Defense Resources Preparedness Executive Order exploits the “authority” granted to the President in the Defense Production Act of 1950 in order to assert that virtually every means of human survival is now available for confiscation and control by the President with assistance of his secretaries in charge.
This is how dictatorships begin, under the guise of protection for the homeland. No one denies that we need to be protected however the provisions now are striking a chord with students of history. Some of which are now considered conspiracy extremists
I was discussing my concern about this order with Olav Phillips and said to him that I would have to postpone my other topics that were preplanned for this topic. It was of great concern to me since I had mad a prediction that this was going to happen in the article “The Cake is a Lie: Employing the Unitary Executive Policy.” In the article I stated:
On October 11th, 2011 I wrote: undefinedThe implementation of the “Unitary Executive Policy” is imminent. I feel it so strongly that I am feeling sick to my stomach over it. The Unitary executive theory is the theory of an Imperial presidency happening in this country. We are edging closer to it now more than ever.undefined
I was explaining that I already knew that there have been prior Presidents who have retained this provision of executive power in crisis, the only problem I am having is the half witted statement that this is made during “peace time.” The timing of the signing is suspect because of the climate of war we are in. We are still in Afghanistan, we have invaded Libya, and now we are teetering towards a war with Iran. We are on the brink of financial collapse and with the Occupy movement protests we are now seeing that civil unrest is always an issue to reckon with.
So the idea that it is a new executive order is misleading and equally the idea of it being updated and signed during what is called “peace time” is equally misleading.
The reason it is so misleading is that while we are told that the signing of this order is
“normal” and that it is logical to think that a President needs to have control of the country during a natural disaster or major attack, the newly written provisions in the document at this moment does not put any limits or definite criteria for implementation in a time of “war” or “Constitutional crisis.”
If you read the fine print in the order you will see that the specific sections have been added so that the President can take complete command and control of the country’s natural resources in “peacetime” as well.
Section 101. Purpose. This order delegates authorities and addresses national defense resource policies and programs under the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended (the undefinedActundefined).
Sec. 102. Policy. The United States must have an industrial and technological base capable of meeting national defense requirements and capable of contributing to the technological superiority of its national defense equipment in peacetime and in times of national emergency. The domestic industrial and technological base is the foundation for national defense preparedness. The authorities provided in the Act shall be used to strengthen this base and to ensure it is capable of responding to the national defense needs of the United States.
Sec. 103. General Functions. Executive departments and agencies (agencies) responsible for plans and programs relating to national defense (as defined in section 801(j) of this order), or for resources and services needed to support such plans and programs, shall:
(a) Identify requirements for the full spectrum of emergencies, including essential military and civilian demand;
(b) assess on an ongoing basis the capability of the domestic industrial and technological base to satisfy requirements in peacetime and times of national emergency, specifically evaluating the availability of the most critical resource and production sources, including subcontractors and suppliers, materials, skilled labor, and professional and technical personnel;
So to review how radical this is and how this has been certainly a free pass for the executive branch to be “executive” take a look at what the President would control if he so chooses:
Sec. 201. Priorities and Allocations Authorities. (a) The authority of the President conferred by section 101 of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2071, to require acceptance and priority performance of contracts or orders (other than contracts of employment) to promote the national defense over performance of any other contracts or orders, and to allocate materials, services, and facilities as deemed necessary or appropriate to promote the national defense, is delegated to the following agency heads:
(1) the Secretary of Agriculture with respect to food resources, food resource facilities, livestock resources, veterinary resources, plant health resources, and the domestic distribution of farm equipment and commercial fertilizer;
(2) the Secretary of Energy with respect to all forms of energy;
(3) the Secretary of Health and Human Services with respect to health resources;
(4) the Secretary of Transportation with respect to all forms of civil transportation;
(5) the Secretary of Defense with respect to water resources; and
(6) the Secretary of Commerce with respect to all other materials, services, and facilities, including construction materials.
(b) The Secretary of each agency delegated authority under subsection (a) of this section (resource departments) shall plan for and issue regulations to prioritize and allocate resources and establish standards and procedures by which the authority shall be used to promote the national defense, under both emergency and non-emergency conditions. Each Secretary shall authorize the heads of other agencies, as appropriate, to place priority ratings on contracts and orders for materials, services, and facilities needed in support of programs approved under section 202 of this order.
(c) Each resource department shall act, as necessary and appropriate, upon requests for special priorities assistance, as defined by section 801(l) of this order, in a time frame consistent with the urgency of the need at hand. In situations where there are competing program requirements for limited resources, the resource department shall consult with the Secretary who made the required determination under section 202 of this order. Such Secretary shall coordinate with and identify for the resource department which program requirements to prioritize on the basis of operational urgency. In situations involving more than one Secretary making such a required determination under section 202 of this order, the Secretaries shall coordinate with and identify for the resource department which program requirements should receive priority on the basis of operational urgency.
(d) If agreement cannot be reached between two such Secretaries, then the issue shall be referred to the President through the Assistant to the President and National Security Advisor and the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism.
(e) The Secretary of each resource department, when necessary, shall make the finding required under section 101(b) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2071(b). This finding shall be submitted for the Presidentundefineds approval through the Assistant to the President and National Security Advisor and the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism. Upon such approval, the Secretary of the resource department that made the finding may use the authority of section 101(a) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2071(a), to control the general distribution of any material (including applicable services) in the civilian market.
The executive branch would control food resources, water resources, livestock, and farms, if need be the executive would even regulate gardens. Energy facilities would also be under the control of the executive branch as well. The President would have control over the power grid. Any student of history will demonstrate that when the executive power controls vital resources and “control the general distribution of any material goods and or services in the civilian market they can manipulate availability and price of certain items. They can also ration items and demand that certain foods or resources can only be consumed or used on certain days or months.
Obama seems to be doing what both Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt did during war time. Wilson was frustrated that Congress wouldn’t grant him unbridled power over natural resources, so he too invoked the powers given him under an executive order to assume absolute and unilateral authority much like what President Obama is doing now.
Barack Obama has been briefed and convinced that continued war or in his words “The Right War” will bring to the United States a better and more sound economy. He already has indicated through actions (similar to those of FDR against the Japanese) that he is more than capable of pushing a potential enemy into attacking us. Obama has taken the draconian measures of economic sanctions against Iran and had fortified troops in Afghanistan. You do not have to be a war planner to understand this game of chess. History has given us an example of FDR’s moves before the attacks on Pearl Harbor.
Ask a typical American how the United States got into World War II, and he will almost certainly tell you that the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and the Americans fought back. Ask him why the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, and he will probably need some time to gather his thoughts. He might say that the Japanese were aggressive militarists who wanted to take over the world, or at least the Asia-Pacific part of it.
Ask him what the United States did to provoke the Japanese, and he will probably say that the Americans did nothing: we were just minding our own business when the crazy Japanese, completely without justification, mounted a sneak attack on us, catching us totally by surprise in Hawaii on December 7, 1941.
This what you are taught in the public school system. You are also taught that the American Japanese deserved being kept in concentration camps and bombed by atomic weapons twice. What they wont tell you is that Roosevelt hated the Japanese and that he had a great relationship with Chinese trade. The Roosevelt administration, while dismissing Japanese diplomatic overtures to harmonize relations, imposed a series of increasingly stringent economic sanctions on Japan. In 1939 the United States terminated the 1911 commercial treaty and in 1940, Roosevelt signed the Export Control Act, authorizing the President to license or prohibit the export of essential defense materials.
Next, in a move aimed at Japan, Roosevelt slapped an embargo, on all exports of scrap iron and steel to destinations other than Britain and the nations of the Western Hemisphere. Finally, on July 26, 1941, Roosevelt froze Japanese assets in the United States, thus bringing commercial relations between the nations to an effective end. One week later Roosevelt embargoed the export of such grades of oil as still were in commercial flow to Japan. The British and the Dutch followed suit, embargoing exports to Japan from their colonies in southeast Asia.
Japan was in such a horrible position economically that they had no choice but to try and get out of the stranglehold by going to war. They had communicated with Roosevelt telling him that they were being placed in an untenable position.
Roosevelt ignored their warnings. The result was a crystallizing event. A event that forced Roosevelt into going back on his promise of not sending the boys to war. The war was part of an economic plan to get the country back on its feet financially. The attack was what Roosevelt was seeking . The provocation gave government plausible deniability and a definable enemy that the American people could rise up against.
Our economic problems have returned. Even though we hear of spikes of economic booms it is still a major problem. We have been hearing the words of our President . The words have been that no change is in store for the war that was handed to him by George W. Bush. We are now caught in the notion that we may see another 10 years of full on war. We may see within the next year a full on World War. This time however the tables will be turned and we will be the target of a nuclear bombardment. We will be in the midst of disaster economy, collecting money from the sick and the families of the dead to establish the new Government and Military rule. In the disaster economy Obama now has the power to take what he feels is necessary in the event of an attack and or national upheaval.
The media won’t tell you this, apologists will say that it is nothing to storm the Whitehouse over, and the school systems do not discuss acts of treason, or when the first act of aggression is the final curtain for democracy.
In theory, one of the main functions of public education is to help create a citizenry that understands the functions of government and is able to make informed judgments about how public policy will affect future generations. It is a basic justification for studying history often repeated by historians, that those who fail to learn about the past are doomed to repeat it.
We study history in order to understand how humans have responded in the past to similar events and situations. As a society, we should have a compelling interest in making sure that people understand how government functions, within the context of our history.
But, at the same time, there are powerful l interests who see an informed citizenry as a direct threat to unbridled executive power. These back room policy makers would rather have a citizenry that is easily influenced to accept whatever message is given them by the corporate-controlled media.
For this reason, they find the topics of insurrection and civil unrest to be particularly dangerous. The possibility that people might view government as an instrument of the public will, much less take up arms to oppose entrenched power, is a dangerous idea that the media has managed to silence or downplay on all levels.
That is why people who understand history can cut beyond partisan dogma and controlled propaganda in order to see the ulterior purposes behind those who represent our government and their nefarious actions. Part of the dilemma for anyone who truly wants to understand these actions and re-actions is that undefinednothing they doundefined within the circles of power seems to make any logical sense.
Thanks to highly controlled information many Americans are unaware of the criminal activity that is going on behind the scenes. Many who are aware are helpless to do anything about it. Many don’t care and others want to rationalize that anything the executive branch of government does is for the benefit of the people and to cut out the middleman.
That middleman of course is congress and they are supposed to speak for the people. However when a president makes executive orders and does so without warning and then deems the order as a “peace time” order when we are at war – you have to stop and wonder what is happening and what Intel has warranted a sudden decree of preeminent martial law.
Ordinary criminal schemes are usually easy to decipher. Money trails can be found, and their telltale tracks followed to whatever may have been the point of such an effort. But this undefinedsuper-planundefined for domination includes the complete destruction of most (or all) that matters - and none of it makes sense to the civilized world.
The bending and mutilating of constitutional laws and human rights have been well documented. The continued power grabs and wanton greed of the warlords, are finally being revealed. No longer are we to guess about the intentions of those in power. We no longer have to speculate about targets.
They have all been published in books and in essays submitted to think tanks that are financed by the same self important fascists that have their cold grip on our nation. We can just stand idly by and watch the entire system of social programs, the welfare of the states, the counties and the cities of the United States disintegrate.
The country has been wrapped inside a massive shroud of fear and with this fear there is a demand for more control by the powers that be. This unfortunately is a mistake. A mistake we could have avoided if we just paid attention to history. History is now begging us to pay attention to key moments that happened just prior to a world war.
In the wake of waning living standards, and welfare incomes the government will tell you that it is time to ration for “freedom.” Today we are already seeing industries being taken over by Government. In World War II we saw the same things and another World war will provide plenty of cover for elites to take over industry and demonize opposition as terrorist organizations or anti government extremists.
It doesn’t make any sense that we have given Barack Obama more room to move his pieces where he wants in order to insure another World War. A world War that many believe will be the war known as Armageddon. How are we not protesting this? Why is it that if we question these moves we are being labeled as conspiracy theorists, racists, or extremists?
The idea of saber rattling and wanting a scorched earth policy and police state is extremist and confusing. The American ennui proves that that people aren’t paying attention to history or that they merely don’t care because they believe that we are too big and too powerful to fail in our resolve. But what is the resolve? The American hegemony? The New World Order? National Socialism ? Communism? Barack Obama was heralded as the “peace president” his potential preceded him, the apotheosis was just as daunting and now peace is no longer a priority. The change is the new government and the New Socialist Order.
Is there anyone out there who opposes our foreign policies? Can anyone see how they are a pretext for disaster? Can we see the war’s shadow on the horizon and what it will mean? Obama is using tactics from the 1930’s to try and provoke a war that will be ruinous for the country. History indicates that these tactics will not work. We are not fighting Germans or Japanese. We are fighting against those criminal elements that have the power to socially engineer an ignorant populace to compliance with the most deplorable of activities.
Can anyone see that the charge from homeland security that extremism will not be tolerated is merely an excuse to justify martial law if we do not comply with their wishes? How is this healthy for America? How can we trust our government when they do not trust us? How can we say that we are functioning as a united country when the ideas of “extremism” are being thrown around at people who question whose side they are really on?
This is supposed to be a country that encourages free thinking that is supposed to listen to meaningful protest and do the will of the people. It most certainly is not at this time in history and it is not just with Obama we can point the finger it is with every previous administration that rejected the rule of law for the rule of the War machine.
Where is the progressive opposition to dropping powerful bombs on crowds of innocent people, invading their land, overthrowing their government, occupying the country, breaking down the doors of the citizens, killing the father, raping the mother, traumatizing the children? And how is it that I am an extremist if I oppose it?
How do I go from being an extremist to being racist if I oppose Obama’s policies meaning that this IS the policy of Barack Obama. Obama has not opposed this policy – in fact he has indicated that he will find the right war to save our economy and guarantee our might. He has left the door wide open for an attack on our homeland.
He has also signed away our freedoms when that all goes down. It is the dark and brooding overture playing in a one act play of Obamageddon. Act I: the final Curtain. Our charismatic leader can lead us into Armageddon with the next world war, a war that futurists have called our last.
