THE NETSTAPO: POWER OF THE CYBERSAVIORS
There is a “dirty little psyche war” that is going on in the United States. It seems sickeningly cannibalistic when you can see that people are either dying, or are being psychologically harassed at the hands of a paranoid group of individuals that believe in shooting first and asking questions later.
When it comes to wars and rumors of wars we are told that we all have a right to defend ourselves against an enemy. However now the so called defense has become an offense and we find ourselves like Don Quixote fighting windmills that we think are giants. We are now taking delight in hating what we do not understand and not making the time for tolerance and deeper understanding of things.
You may or may not see the trend but it is definitely becoming more and more the norm. We base a lot of what we consider entertainment on the pain and suffering of people who do not necessarily agree with us.
A healthy case of prevention is always a good thing. However when it gets in the way of your common sense, you can take desperate measures that may not be reversed.
There is always the possibility that the agreed upon threat may not even be a threat at all and that someone or some organization is pushing your buttons to get you to act. The idea that Government and media could be the driving force behind your fears is a possibility. Seeing believes, and believing can be deceiving.
The fear that a government or a police force could be plotting against you probably never crosses your trusting mind?
Because they have been charged to serve and protect.
However there are still many people who will demand to be mothered and governed and policed because they fear the phantoms that lurk in the shadows. They believe that more laws that take away personal liberty are the answer.
Always remember what Pierre Joseph Proudhon wrote:
To be governed is to be watched over, inspected, spied upon, directed, legislated at, regulated, docketed, indoctrinated, preached at, controlled, assessed, weighed, censored, ordered about—
To be governed means, to be at each transaction, at each movement, Noted, registered, taxed, stamped, measured, evaluated, patented, licensed, authorized, endorsed, admonished, hampered, reformed, rebuked, arrested, held to ransom, exploited, monopolized, extorted. Squeezed, hoaxed, robbed, and then at least resistance… to be repressed, fined, abused, annoyed, followed, bullied, beaten, disarmed, garroted, imprisoned, machine gunned, judged, condemned, deported, flayed, sold, betrayed, and finally mocked, ridiculed, insulted, and dishonored.
Hysteria can cause you to beg for that kind of treatment. You will give in to that when you feel you have no choice. The idea of knuckling under to an unseen fear is as primitive as ancient civilizations offering virgins to volcanoes to please an angry God, real or imaginary.
There is a frontier that still leaves people with a bit of trepidation.
There has always been a fear that the Internet is a place where many phantoms lurk. While phantoms, criminals, and thieves lurk in the shadows in the real world, it is always easy to scapegoat the Internet because it is something that many people do not understand.
In the aftermath of the so called Internet 9-11 that happened weeks ago, with threats of SOPA , ACTA and PIPA we are beginning to see that law enforcement and government officials becoming more active with people of interest who are involved with what can be termed cybercrime. Hacking groups have now been the focus of the net police and if anyone pays attention to the internet, we can determine that many of these so called Internet hacking groups are definitely tied to the government and that the monster that they have created online is directly from their own ranks.
It has always been known that Cass Sunstein has long been one of Barack Obama’s closest confidants. Sunstein, while speaking as the head of the office of Information and Regulatory affairs in 2008 came up with a chilling proposal echoing the days of Cointelpro disinformation. He proposed that the U.S. Government employ teams of covert agents and pseudo-”independent” advocates to “cognitively infiltrate” online groups and websites — as well as other activist groups — which advocate views that Sunstein deems “false conspiracy theories” about the Government. This would be designed to increase citizens’ faith in government officials and undermine the credibility of conspiracy theorists and any information that is on the internet that does not go through the “Big brother” filtering process.
On March 6th, 2012 two days before a proposed FBI blackout of Internet sites infected with Malware Law enforcement agents on two continents swooped in on top members of the infamous computer hacking group LulzSec. Lulzsec is short for Lulz Security a hacking group that has claimed responsibility for several high profile attacks, including the compromise of user accounts from Sony Motion Pictures in 2011 and the take down of the CIA website. The leader of Lulzsec “Sabu” we now have learned worked for the United States government.
Does this surprise anyone? The mainstream media is characterizing Sabu as someone that betrayed his cohorts. What it is neglecting to illustrate is that now we know that a lot of these so called hackers are actually hired by the United States Government in order to create a need for a NETSTAPO or online police force on the internet when one is really not needed.
Take a look at the track record of Lulzsec. Sabu’s targets were highly suspect and were more than likely chosen by FBI handlers. His colleagues were already targets of the FBI and the FBI gave a lot of information to Sabu including codes to hack top security sites connected to government alphabet agencies and the Pentagon.
The authorities have more power than we realize with regard to the internet and they want to convince the world that we are in need of cybersaviors to protect us from evil hacking groups. Hacking groups that the FBI, NSA, CIA and others hire to collect data and create Malware, viruses and spyware that can get into internet systems and monitor the internet traffic of American citizens.
Here now is more grist for the mill as cyber security agendas have been proposed recently and the “kill switch” proposal is still on the minds of law makers giving Obama executive power to shut down the Internet during a national security crisis.
The Internet was threatening to go dark for millions of users as early as March 8 because of a alleged virus that has corrupted computers in more than 100 countries. However the possibility of an Internet shutdown has been moved up 120 days to July 9th, 2012. The threat of the internet shut down has alarmed users of the system and many are wondering why this has to happen. According to the FBI it is all about Malware that needs to be wiped out and if a computer network has it you may not have access to the internet.
The computer script, called DNS Changer Trojan, taps into fraudulent servers, sending users of the Web to unintended - and sometimes illegal - sites.
Though the FBI has shut down the DNS Changer network and put up surrogate servers, they warned the solution was only temporary - and the court-ordered deadline was March 8. On March 5th federal Judge Denise Cote granted the federal government another 120 days to keep running several DNS servers that were keeping hundreds of thousands, and possibly millions, of infected computers online.
On November 8th, 2011 Estonian authorities arrested a cybercrime ring whoundefinedd used a variety of malware, collectively called undefinedDNSChanger, undefined to infect approximately 4 million Personal computers, Macs and network routers worldwide and redirect those machinesundefined Web traffic to bogus websites controlled by the gang.
Your computer may have the malware as will many corporate institutions, banks and others. If the surrogate servers are unplugged we will see glitches and shutdowns with millions of computer systems worldwide and a disruption with Internet service.
I have been reading a lot of blogs where there have been those who say that one day away from the web would do us some good and that the Internet consumes most of our time. While there is some truth to this, there is also another truth; personal computers are not the only computers that would be affected. There are vast networks at some of the most prestigious companies that may see a shut down if Malware is in their systems. If we see a shut down we may have to deal with some very precarious situations.
While the FBI is stating that this is necessary to weed out “bad seeds” on line namely malware that will cause problems, you may want to brace yourself for what may happen. There are many corporate entities whose networks may have been compromised and if that is the case their servers will shut down and you may or may not have access to their sites. For example we could see Oil Company nets shut down. Groups like Conoco, Shell or BP could be affected. Let’s say you are planning a flight out of town and there is a glitch. You could be held up at the airport if Delta, United or Horizon air has glitch in its network.
What if General Electric has a glitch? It would be temporary but the inconvenience could be annoying. What if the glitch affected a Nuclear power plant?
Another thing to consider is that some ATM’s run on the internet and could also shut down leaving you without access to you money. Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase and other banks could have the Malware in their systems creating a temporary, or even a long term shut down of ATM access.
Now what is most disconcerting is that what is happening is that the FBU and other alphabet entities are using Disinformation and psychological warfare to create a “demand’ for a well equipped cyber security force. With their proposed “change” of the dummy servers there is a greater potential for authorities to ramp up their efforts for a cyber blockade that could further infect computers and then millions of more computers could be compromised and millions of Americans would come to the shocking conclusion that they no longer had access to the Internet, that the net had been compromised and blamed on “Anonymous” or some other so called “hacking” group that more than likely is also connected to government officials. It is the brilliant game plan engineering an Internet blackout, while at the same time holding themselves blameless.
A counter intuitive black out was organized online in solidarity against a government that wanted to black out websites. After the event it was convenient that Megaupload, a massive file sharing site with a reported 50 million daily users, was taken down by federal agents. Four people linked to Megaupload were arrested in New Zealand and an international crackdown led agents to serving at least 20 search warrants across the globe. Later it was reported that the Collective hacker group Anonymous was responsible for taking down sites for the FBI, Department of Justice, Universal Music Group, RIAA and Motion Picture Association of America.
Can anyone see the patterns? Can anyone determine that all of these cyber “crimes” are being created by government hackers for hire? If the Internet is ever brought down completely, it will be done by controlled demolition and most likely an inside job.
