With the advent of COVID-19 and the threat of domestic terrorism, church gatherings have been curtailed and many members of the clergy have acquiesced to the request by government officials to not hold church services because of health risks to congregations. The times are changing — religious meet ups are being discouraged and many people are wondering why in a place where there is freedom of religion they have been told to keep out of the pews.
