1/25/24: GODHEAD MACHINERY – DEUS EST MACHINA W/ RICHARD C. HOAGLAND

Posted on January 25th, 2024 by Clyde Lewis

There is great concern about the potential of AI to make humans obsolete along with the potential global threat of UFOs/UAPs. These two seemingly divergent issues are more closely related than we think as their combined power to disrupt social, economic, and spiritual realities could be a threat to our existence. Congruently, it was announced that scientists have discovered bizarre polygon structures buried beneath the surface of Mars. If we have hi-tech equipment that finds these artifacts on distant planets, are we looking at relics of an alien civilization or are we looking at a human civilization that existed in our long distant past? Tonight on Ground Zero, Clyde Lewis talks with space researcher and author, Richard C. Hoagland about GODHEAD MACHINERY - DEUS EST MACHINA.

SHOW TRANSCRIPT:

In the turmoil of world news this week, it isn’t hard to find occasions to worry. Yet, two novel subjects have also become prominent, each raising alarm from the high-tech laboratories of Silicon Valley to the halls of Congress. They relate to the potential of AI to make humans obsolete, and to the global threat implied by the mystery of UFOs, even when reframed as the less-intimidating “UAP,” as Pentagon purists prefer.

The real problem is that the two issues are more closely related than anyone had foreseen, and their combined power to disrupt social, business, and perhaps even spiritual realities threatens to become uncontrollable, even if the two constituencies have little in common.

But what little they have in common the more we see the interest in techno-signatures and biosignatures that would lead to the disclosure of life or artificial life on the threshold.

While many scientists do not think that an exobiological specimen will be found anytime soon – the prospect of finding artificial intelligence – or techno signatures is promising and the new moon missions are going to be used to locate and recover technical artifacts on the moon and later Mars.

However, we are not anywhere near putting a team on the moon again – as many of the moon missions and prospects have found themselves grounded malfunctioning delaying all moon missions for another two or three years.

During the space race, Nasa spent a staggering $25 billion on the Apollo program. It still clocked up failure after failure before it reached the moon. It now has 70 years of institutional knowledge and a culture geared towards designing, building and testing spacecraft.

And yet recently there has been failure after failure – which now has pushed the advent of a manned moon landing to 2026.

While China and India have both placed robotic landers on the moon, Russia’s Luna 25 crash-landed last year, nearly 60 years after the Soviet Union’s Luna 9 nailed the first gentle touchdown. Landers built by private companies have a 100% failure record on the moon: the Israeli Beresheet lander crashed in 2019, while a Japanese lander built by ispace crashed last year.

Landing on the moon should be academic as the space program seems to have spanned 70 years –and that doesn’t even count the lofty ideas of Werner Von Braun who in 1958 thought that we would have moon bases by 1969.

With the first lunar landings back in the 60s, it can be hard to grasp why the moon remains such a tough destination.

I have asked these questions many times – but expressing doubt about the beginnings of our miracle space program of the 60’s and 70’s gest you a very awful kind of derision from scientists, and space enthusiasts a like.

But it is okay to doubt – especially now, as we have technologies that beat out the primitive technologies used to put the LEM on the Sea of Tranquility.

Why does the technology that is akin to a toaster oven can get man on the moon and all of our advanced technology can’t even go up into orbit?

I don’t think it is out of line to bring this up.

Well, even though we are not going to see a moon landing for two years there is still some very interesting news transpiring for those who see themselves as exo-geologists, archeologists or biologists.

Ars Technica reports that the persistent rumor that the James Webb Space Telescope has found a planet with strong signs of life has recently hit a new high among the scientific community. A lot of the hype may be overblown, but at the very least the speculation reflects the space telescopeundefineds extraordinary promise in the field of exobiology.

Though a NASA official told Ars that no undefineddefinitive evidenceundefined has been found so far, they acknowledged the possibility of a huge discovery on the horizon that could take six months to a year of follow-up/

Knowing NASA and their penchant for never a straight answer we can probably have this report disappear with a bit of plausible deniability.

So –whatever the miracles that we see with the James Webb telescope you can always bet that NASA will always use it as click-bait for wannabe alien hunters.

For some time now there have been many theories and speculations about structures on the Moon and Mars. Richard Hoagland has been saying this for decades and most recently Harvard Professor Avi Loeb has discussed the possibility of techno signatures and archeological findings on celestial bodies.

It was recently announced that scientists have recently discovered bizarre polygon structures buried beneath the surface of Mars.

It contributes a fascinating new chapter to our understanding of the Martian landscape and its history. The Chinese rover Zhurong made the discovery, which marks a significant milestone in China’s space exploration program. Indeed, Zhurong’s adventuring on Mars is part of the first Chinese mission to land on the planetundefineds surface.

The Chinese rover was dropped off and deployed in Utopia Planitia, one of the Red Planet’s most significant impact basins. The impressive technology has been critical in revealing the mysterious, hidden structures in a particularly relevant section of the Martian landscape.

The impact crater in question was last traversed over forty years ago, in 1976, by NASA’s Viking 2.

Zhurong delved beneath the surface of Mars to discover 16 fascinating polygonal structures. But scientists are holding back on saying it is evidence of any civilization undefined it is merely an effect of a freezing thaw process.

However, according to scientists, the polygons emerging from this process on the Red Planet are enormous–much bigger than those encountered on Earth.

In any case, the discovery enriches our understanding of Mars’ geological history and presents new avenues for exploring the planet’s past climate and atmospheric conditions.

If you’re looking for inspiration for a sci-fi screenplay, there are a copious amount of stories being reported about new findings relating to Mars and the moon undefined but we are so close and yet so far.

Reports that we may be uncovering proof of alien artifacts seem closer to disclosing face-to-face contact with E.T.

I am sure that eventually be the case undefined but again after a secret meeting in Washington DC, we are still no closer to determining whether or not UFOs or UAPs are part of the alien question.

There was a time when we took it for granted that humans were alone in the universe at the top of the evolutionary heap — above us were only the angels. But decades of science fiction have surely undermined that. Given the number of alien contact movies in the past few decades, it is more likely that angels visiting Earth would be greeted as aliens than aliens visiting Earth would be greeted as angels.

This may be a problem philosophically and it is quite likely the reason why science loves to ignore the data about ancient life on Mars or even possible structures left behind on the Moon or on Martian soil.

This is where we hear of a sinister element with the revelation of anthropomorphic aliens as many people worry that we will see them as Gods.

But chances are a biological alien visitation would be rare- because space flight would most definitely harm any and all occupants going through space for long distances.

Harvard Scientist Avi Loeb commented recently that almost all biological creatures would not be able to complete the journey to our planet from afar. “It would take about a billion years to cross from one side of the Milky Way galaxy to the other.

Loeb added, “Given that, I don’t think any spacecraft that would arrive to us from another star would carry biological creatures.”

He concluded by saying that :

undefinedIt’s more likely, if they are autonomous, they have an artificial brain, artificial intelligence, undefined

I have over the years have been leaning towards the theory that most of the aliens we talk about or even that those that some people claim to see are synthetic undefined more like robots than biological entities.

That doesnundefinedt mean they all are undefined but the majority probably are someoneundefineds idea of Artificial intelligence that has been bouncing from solar system to solar system for thousands of years and they have planted amongst the stars sentinel probes that have been watching us from great distances.

In the 1940s, science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke wrote a short story called ‘The Sentinel‘ for a BBC competition that was a compelling story about an alien artifact left on the moon that constantly sent signals out into deep space.

The artifact was tetrahedral in shape, made of polished metal, and had a spherical force field surrounding it. For eons, this artifact was a warning beacon to intelligent life and other space explorers who wanted to develop or come to planet Earth.

Clarke eloquently paints a picture of a powerful force that swept through space when the earth was half of its present age. The force and the roar were incomprehensible and the beacon was left on the moon to transmit a signal for millions of years. The signal was called a sentinel and it was there to watch over the earth and other worlds that could sustain life.

The pyramid that housed the beacon was eventually destroyed by a nuclear explosion. It was concluded that whoever left the beacon has to be aware that it is no longer transmitting and may return to find out why.

The story ends with a chilling speculation from the narrator:

“I can never look now at the Milky Way without wondering from which of those banked clouds of stars the emissaries are coming. If you will pardon so commonplace a simile, we have set off the fire alarm and have nothing to do but to wait. I do not think we will have to wait for long.”

Now for a bit of synchronicity undefined it was maybe 10 years ago that the X-Men comics featured our mutant Heroes battling giant robots that were called Sentinels. The story evolved to where the mechanical overlords spawned a new threat Nano-Sentinels.

These tiny robots invaded our bodies at the microscopic level. Infected humans were slowly converted into machines, cell by cell.

This was also a trope used for the story of the Transformers.

In 1960, the Ark, a Cybertronian spacecraft carrying an invention capable of ending the war between Autobots and Decepticons, crash lands on the dark side of Earthundefineds Moon and is detected by NASA.

President John F. Kennedy authorizes a mission to put a man on the Moon as a cover for investigating the spacecraft. In 1969, the crew of Apollo 11 lands on the Moon and secretly inspects the Ark before returning to Earth.

It is revealed that the Decepticons are murdering people connected to the American and Soviet space missions to the Ark.

The Autobots travel to the Moon and discover Sentinel Prime, the Autobotsundefined leader before Optimus, in a comatose state along with five Pillars he created as a means of establishing a undefinedSpace Bridgeundefined, a wormhole able to teleport matter between two points. On Earth, Optimus uses the energy of the Matrix of Leadership to revive Sentinel.

Two surviving cosmonauts reveal photos of hundreds of Pillars for structures being stockpiled on the Moon. The Decepticons raided the Ark long before the Apollo 11 mission and intentionally left Sentinel and the five Pillars for the Autobots to find, knowing that Sentinel is the key to activating the Pillars.

The pattern in the matrix here is the word Sentinel and its connection to techno signatures and synthetic cyborgs that can replicate using nanomaterials. If we use science fiction logic, then perhaps we may find proof of life or techno signatures from life that can be found fossilized on the moon or Mars.

NASA commissioned the Brookings Research Institute in Washington to prepare a report on the likelihood of encountering extraterrestrial life and to detail how NASA proof of extraterrestrial life should be handled. The Final 219-page report, published in 1960, was titled “Proposed Studies on the Implications of Peaceful Space Activities for Human Affairs.” One section was dedicated to the “Implications of a Discovery of Extraterrestrial Life.” The study is now referred to simply as “The Brookings Report.”

The report predicted that if extraterrestrial life were discovered, it could bring about “profound changes, or even the collapse of our civilization.” The report noted that such a discovery could come about at any time and that any admission of extra-terrestrial reality could incite fear in the public. It suggested that evidence of alien existence might be found in artifacts left on the moon or other planets.

They already assumed that artifacts would be found on Venus, The moon, and Mars.

Back before Avi Loeb received a lot of attention for his opinions on Oumuamua, he appeared on Ground Zero and spoke of something else that intrigued him about new missions to the moon and to Mars. He believed that these two celestial spheres were like spider webs and that they may have been able to capture what he called relics or artifacts that would change the way we view our position in the universe.

He stated that he had an interest in what he called Space archeology where we explore the moon and the planets on the solar system for signs of ancient life, and technological relics that may indicate that civilizations thrived in space at one time or that they may have gone underground and that this is why we have not detected them yet.

Loeb said:

“To me, the most interesting thing to do would be to do space archaeology, which is similar to digging into the ground, except you dig into space and you search for relics, for burnt-out surfaces of planets, for artifacts on other planets. That’s an interesting future frontier, finding relics of dead civilizations out there.”

But the big question is that if we have advanced equipment that finds these artifacts on distant planets are we looking at relics of an alien civilization or are we looking at a human civilization that existed in our long distant past?

How does this hold up to scrutiny?

There are good reasons to seriously consider the possibility that at some point in the Earth-Moon system’s 4.5 billion-year-old history, an alien intelligence may have passed through our solar system; leaving physical artifacts of their visits.

These artifacts would likely entail more than just alien-spaced detritus, and would arguably include evidence of alien scientific or industrial activity, such as extremely advanced lunar mining, energy generation; and even technology related to lunar nearside Earth reconnaissance.

For lack of a better term undefined we can call this the Sentinel Hypothesis.

To prove that life is out there, it may be important to start mining areas of the moon for rocks and regolith and look for nanoparticles and perhaps machine parts from an ancient civilization that may have lived at one time.

The same can go for Mars and perhaps asteroids could also yield microbial life or nanomachines that have long since shut down - or have been pulverized over time

Between Apollo and now the only new samples of space materials were found by Osirus-Rex and an unmanned robot that took samples from an asteroid called Bennu. It was a seven-year Journey to sample the asteroid, It scooped up a pound of material. On September 24th of last year that sample was returned to Earth -as the capsule landed in the Utah Desert. The samples will then be sent al over the world to be examined by scientists. Now what is it that they are hoping to discover about the samples?

Well according to Richard Hoagland, these so-called asteroids are extraterrestrial spacecraft or space sentinels undefined some call them Bracwell Probes.

He has presented samples of extraterrestrial rock that have sliced away to reveal what appears to be nanotech and other bits of machinery that could very well prove that there are many space artifacts out there that we may be overlooking because they don’t exactly fit into our limited science fiction imagination.

Hoagland indicates that the UAP clauses within the NDAA require that science make known any artifacts that would be considered technological proof need to be revealed to the public,

In the Senate version of the National Defense Authorization Act, it would require the release of government records on unidentified anomalous phenomena.

It would be required that documents related to UAP be released no more than 25 years after creation unless they were deemed to be of great enough risk to national security to warrant further classification, as well as the creation of an official UAP Records Collection and the establishment of a review board.

The original wording of the act also included a controversial eminent domain clause that would allow the U.S. government to acquire any materials believed to belong to UAP.

Back in November, The Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History unveiled the first public display of a sample of Bennu.

In a special demonstration, they took a small piece of the artifact, placed it in a bottle of Nitrogen and held it to a a magnifying glass. After looking at the spec closely you realize that the small sample has what appears tp be nanoparticles or nanotech encapsulated throughout.

It appears that wheels gears and cables can be seen throughout this tiny sample from Bennu.

Perhaps we may have to do the same for the Apollo samples -or do it to the remaining samples that have not been stolen. Perhaps we could replicate the same effect and detect small technological artifacts that would give us pause about whether or not advanced civilizations made their marks on celestial spheres.

Hoagland is on to something because he is not alone in his theories about possible technologies left behind by asteroids or possible Sentinel probes that look like Asteroids.

During a webinar that is available on Aftermath.Media, Loeb showed us footage and documents from his mission where he recovered what appear to be fragments of alien technology from a meteor that landed in the waters off of Papua, New Guinea in 2014.

Loeb and his team just brought the materials back to Harvard for analysis. The U.S. Space Command confirmed with almost near certainty, 99.999%, that the material came from another solar system.

Avi and his team found ten spherules. Almost perfect spheres, or metallic marbles.

When you look at them through a microscope, they look very distinct from the background They have colors of gold, blue, brown, and some of them resemble a miniature of the Earth.

An analysis of the composition showed that the spherules are made of 84% iron, 8% silicon, 4% magnesium, and 2% titanium, plus trace elements. They are sub-millimeters in size. The crew found 50 of them in total.

The research and analysis is just beginning at Harvard. Loeb is trying to understand if the spherules are artificial or natural. If they are natural, it will give the researchers insight into what materials may exist outside of our solar system. If it is artificial, the questions really begin.

He still has more debris to research- but if what Hoagland has discovered is proof of techno signatures then Loebundefineds findings certainly can be artificial as well.

Or unfortunately, it could be more data that NASA has been known to ignore.

When Avi Loeb appeared at the aftermath.media webinar , he lamented the fact that when you present absolute proof of extraterrestrial artifacts or even interstellar rocks many fellow scientists reject it even though they claim they want to see the evidence.

I brought up the Gilbert Levin case where NASA rejected his findings of possible life on Mars during the Viking mission. His discovery of what appeared to be microbial life was at first reported as proof that life existed on Mars. It was such an important discovery that President Bill Clinton made a statement to the American people about the discovery.

NASA denies that the Viking missions proved that life existed on Mars.

Gilbert Levin, the principal investigator for the labeled-release experiment, is convinced to this day that Vikings 1 and 2 found evidence of life on Mars. NASA’s Phoenix spacecraft, which landed near the planet’s north pole in 2008, re-started the argument when it confirmed that the chemistry of the Martian soil may destroy organic material—which could explain at least some of the Viking findings.

NASA says that the Viking data has been lost or incomplete or some other story. But now we are learning that NASA may have unknowingly found and killed microbial alien life from the Viking Missions.

NASA again shows how incompetent they are undefined but are they?

Maybe, they still hold on to the old-fashioned edicts of the Brookings Research Institute.
