Having a terrifying paranormal experience is a spontaneous shamanic-type initiation through a traumatic shakedown. This is what Robert Anton Wilson called “Chapel Perilous.” It balances your faith at the edge of disaster. We don’t just think we have seen a dark shadow near our bed – we know it. Chapel Perilous is defined as “an occult term referring to a psychological state in which an individual cannot be certain if they have been aided or hindered by some force outside the realm of the natural world, or if what appeared to be supernatural interference was a product of their imagination.” We need to recognize the deeper forces informing our hidden history and haunting our present days. If we don’t help each other, we may begin to hear the laughing in the ether — and it is not God. Tonight on Ground Zero, Clyde Lewis talks with Diabolus Rex about GOD IS NOT HERE TODAY.
In the book ‘Political Ponerology – a Science of the Nature of Evil – the author, psychologist Andrew M Lobaczewski, speaks of the ‘spellbinding techniques’ of psychopaths and how the thought patterns given off by them “take hold in human minds, insidiously destroying their way of reasoning and their ability to utilize their healthy common sense.” He further states “This role has proved essential because their activities as fanatical leaders or spellbinders in various ideologies open the door to psychopathic individuals and the view of the world they want to impose.”
It is unfortunate that when those who we trust lie to us we are asked to get over ourselves, that it is best to choose the lesser of two evils.
That choice is not a choice –which is misleading and by definition, it is considered evil.
We are in the habit of our forbearers, Adam and Eve,
We embrace the snake or dragon that crushes truth and reassembles it as a lie.
Demons invert/reverse all that they touch. The psychopath uses the same trick. And the ‘political’ variety set to work on inverting all professional spheres of society. This is how education becomes indoctrination; the medical profession becomes the causative agent of sickness; the legal profession upholds fundamental injustice; science reduces life to a gene and religion becomes indoctrination to an anti-life formula leading to the soulless trans-human replacing the spiritual human.
A widespread political pathocracy does not depend on all politicians becoming schizoid. It just requires that a few leading figureheads possessed of this characteristic, enforce the anti-life psychopathic agenda as part of the ‘party loyalty’ scheme. This ensures sufficient conformism so that others fall in line, ‘spellbound’ by the sub-human vibrational waves that these key figureheads generate.
For ‘we the people’ to break this spell requires us to recognize, hidden in the shadows of ourselves, the existence of a state that is capable of distorting our natural emotions into something cold, indifferent and devoid of love.
This can only approximate the actual condition experienced by the psychopath – but by touching this realm we can start to understand something about a state of existence that plays a key role in this time, yet appears to defy our comprehension.
The idea of people willingly misled offends our notion of man as rational and image and action parameters determine our repulsion against evil, even though it has taken many centuries to procure the contemporary images of what is bad or good.
However, perception of evil can be changed and through long forms of programming someone as profane as Dracula can be seen as a hero and something as novel as a clown can be seen as the deepest and darkest evil.
Diabolical persuasion in such cases offers an idea of solidarity and the target of that persuasion is more co-conspirator than victim, an invitation to share in the creation of a hyperbolic fiction.
Successful persuasion in everything like business, media, or government, does not make the error of asking for belief. It makes no pretense of objectivity. The notion of persuasion as “manipulative” evokes a passive recipient and a hypodermic or stimulus-response form, but a more sophisticated idea is that of an invocation to partnership.
Psychological life has a metaphoric character. Our perceptual life draws us into the world and our imagination engages us with it. Metaphors are dangerous, but not as dangerous as restricting their use in our most penetrating inquiries, haunting the margins of our thoughts.
With relentless speculation, multiple mind-blowing streams of thought completely shatter preconceived notions of perception, time and space. It is as true in physics as in cultural engineering. It is difficult to grasp without egocentricity that everything we experience is a form of virtual reality.
Perhaps the most destructive idea ever planted in the minds of the general public is the notion that nothing in this world is permanent — that all things can and must be constantly changed to suit our whims. The concept of impermanence leads to various wild ideas we can drift into and with fringe analysis, we can look through the glass darkly – a sort of black slate apotheca.
The apothecia is a mysterious storehouse where what we consume can lead to social control and these days anything can infect everything.
We sometimes can bring attention to ourselves in unavoidable ways,
People were curious yesterday about the cast I was wearing on my arm. I fell hard on the pavement in front of my car in front of my stepson Liam. I was of course humiliating and the pain was a cold sting on my palms from scraping on the asphalt. I even saw a little blood trickle down my hand.
Many listeners, especially aftermath subscribers have attended our online meet and greats and I have shared with them that some things are going on behind the scenes that make me feel as if I have been cursed.
I have been debating with myself over whether or not I should share because I would have to open old wounds about my friend and colleague Tracy Twyman. That is all I am allowed to say.
For now, at least.
We know that she was courageous to investigate areas of the dark side if the paranormal — sometimes it leads to involuntary entrapment and what occultists call Chapel Perilous.
When something happens to you that is paranormal the rational person does not see the event as an absolute – they see it as an undefined and unfinished experience where the nightmare initiates you into a whole new world and forces you into a whole new way of seeing the world. Having a terrifying paranormal experience is a spontaneous shamanic-type initiation through a traumatic shakedown.
This is what Robert Anton Wilson calls Chapel Perilous.
Chapel Perilous balances your faith at the edge of disaster. We don’t just think we have seen a dark shadow near our bed we know it.
However after the shadow dissipates into nothingness or the light that you turn on makes it disappear, you wonder if what you saw was nothing but a demonic pareidolia in the laundry pile or the housecat positioned in such a way that it looked like a devilish imp waiting to sit on your chest till you suffocate.
Then when coincidences occur and synchronicities make you question your sanity, you either make up your mind on the matter or you walk away becoming a paranormal agnostic.
Sometimes the safest way out is to just be an agnostic – that way you can rationalize that you have not lost your mind.
Terence McKenna, among others, has argued that, by the same principle that keeps a fish oblivious to the existence of water, the perturbation of consciousness is necessary for us even to become aware of the reality of consciousness as such.
Just like an alcoholic is feeling the gravel of Rock bottom there is a point where the paranormal is all consuming — to the point it can drive you mad.
Chapel Perilous has been defined on Wikipedia as “an occult term referring to a psychological state in which an individual cannot be certain if they have been aided or hindered by some force outside the realm of the natural world, or if what appeared to be supernatural interference was a product of their imagination.”
Today, there are many things even outside the realms of paranoia that can trigger a thought or memory of a hidden paranormal experience. There can also be a triggering of déjà vu that is a small product of some reoccurring dream of dread, an apocalyptic future where you know that you will eventually be handed a very difficult decision which when made will neither be to your benefit nor your immediate circle of friends and family.
It is a red pill blue pill moment — where you either enter the mirror or break it,
The decision you make will have to benefit the whole of mankind. Some see it as the ultimate sacrifice to keep order, to keep the timeline of the universe intact.
The real nightmare is when you realize that these dreams were like fire drills and that in a future moment, you won’t be sleepwalking through the valley of the shadow of death – you will running for your life in a reality that the nightmare initiated.
All that is paranoid is not delusional, just as all that is delusional is not paranoid. We aren’t talking about incorrigible delusions as much as a phenomenological field of relative points of view. The tyranny of the One is that of the official, spin-doctored version of past and current events, and future potentials that can be steered by the fabricated consensus.
Charles Fort explains that all people tend to be hypnotic. He has said that if the proper authority saw to it that the proper belief should be induced, the people would believe properly like good little sheep. He also believed that if god was the universal mind, he didn’t always have to act in a sane manner.
This is why we live in this world of remarkable and crazy things.
It is said that we live in perilous times, and often, while in the middle of them, we seem to have some sort of epiphany that while we believe our little paranormal thoughts in church, we can openly pretend that no one answers prayers or doles out miracles or scrawls out little words on Ouija boards. When we hear of what can be termed “doom porn”, we can become introspective and ask “Is life worth living?” The sad thing is that even as we ask ourselves that question, we are convinced that the answer is yes.
But the devil has other plans for you — and you must choose. All you have to do is connect the dots and make good use of the table scraps that are given to you,
These bits of seemingly little flashes in the dark have always told me something about what I have been trying to understand for many years: the grasp the demonic has on our world today.
It is easy to dismiss the use of the words demonic, Luciferian, or Satanic, for it sounds hyperbolic, and it easily plays into the ridiculous themes of popular Hollywood and tabloid entertainment, which have also become staples of the formerly “serious” media as well. It’s all entertainment now, life the movie, the unreality of endless propaganda, sick, sordid, and what can only be termed “The New Normal.”
One can conclude that the New Normal is an excuse the be abnormal –almost to the point of being an intolerable beast.
We are at a point in our lives where the word genocide is being used daily– again to further the agenda of death and destruction.
The ones that keep using these words are the media demons sauntering around in human spaces, though they look human enough themselves, smug in their Italian suits on panels at the World Economic Forum.
Yuval Noah Harari:– is one of the many demons in human disguise that will say to your face that if you don’t show obedience to the government dedicated to the Beast — they have no need for you.
For some reason, these threats are excusable –because we have other horrible witches and demons to chase down — like so-called MAGA militants and Donald Trump.
Bill Gates has been known to cavort with Jeffery Epstein, and tells us all about vaccines and excess death –and another disease out there that can kill millions, He is cashing the checks and getting billions from pain and suffering,
We need to recognize the deeper forces informing our hidden history and haunting our present days.
Many people have been wounded with poisoned needles, Something they subjected themselves to under duress and coercion. This is the type of evil that should shake our souls,
When you are in your head, it can become a very uncomfortable place, especially when there are things buried deep in the core belief centers of the unconscious mind—memories or experiences that somehow get purged without warning.
There is no “real history.” The politics of fear ratchets up everyone’s paranoia meter unless they simply turn a blind eye to it all. Waves of holographic projection radiate from the hyper-real Chapel Perilous throughout all aspects of culture.
In Plato’s Republic, Plato declared a relationship between the soul of the state and the state of the soul.
According to Jung, poisonous collective ideas are always compensated for in the unconscious of the individual psyche. Since paranoia is a disorder of meaning, the remedy for the paranoia of the state may be similar to that of individuals – a trip to Chapel Perilous.
We are left holding our breath in suspended animation at the paradox, the moment of despair when we are engulfed in unsolvable Mystery — riddles wrapped in enigmas, half-truths disguising lies, faulty theories explaining nothing. At first glance, the Chapel seems empty, blown through by dusty winds. It’s all smoke and mirrors.
Something is at the dark heart of all things – something that wants a blank or even black slate to write upon something to scratch – something to mar and desecrate.
It may be difficult to say this but we may have to go deep into some very dark places to expose the demons that have infiltrated places of authority. And since everyone and everything seems broken now – let’s say everyone is just sick or traumatized in some way – maybe courage is what we need, the simple courage to open ourselves to the voices of the hungry ghosts screaming from their toms that they fought long and hard to keep oppression out of our country.
Would anyone be willing to march into hell for a righteous and heavenly cause?
We don’t know who we are fighting for or who we are fighting against in the dark shadows. However, some too many people are cocksure that they have found the truth and that anyone outside of their comfort zone is simply crazy or perhaps in need of elimination.
If we don’t help each other — we may begin to hear the laughing in the ether — and it is not God.
