As I get older, I keep forgetting that the kind of music I listen to, can be considered dinosaur rock. The days of arena rock and roll are dying as my favorite band KISS is on an end of the road tour and great front men like David Lee Roth are retiring. Motley Crue are heading back to the area rock scene but I ask why as Vince Neil has ballooned up with soft middle age and alcohol making it hard for him to convince anyone that he has any street cred?
Ozzy Osbourne is now an old graying prince of darkness. Marylin Manson has also not aged well — as he went from Icky Stardust to just Icky.
Rob Zombie went from doing great hard and monster rock to directing monster movies.
I guess the only one still standing is Alice Cooper and even though he is a born-again Christian we always thought that he got his name from a Ouija board
The days of bad boy, dark edged rock and roll are passing away. We had to hide our DIO records from our parents as we would hide in our rooms and listen to Holy Diver on our headphones. We had to defend our right to listen to Styx albums even though their name means the river to hell.
Our pastors were busy playing records backwards to find satanic messages hidden in the lyrics –when we laughed and said that the evil messages were better heard forward.
Now things have changed and the cartoon evil, the hype and glory has become all too real — and many young people are seeing it and are becoming cognizant of how some hip-hop artists are using the devil and ritualism as part of their stock and trade.
Hip Hop and Rap has become difficult to pin down -and now that I have a stepson that listens to it — I am getting an education about it and how I see many facets to it
“Ignorant” is an over-used descriptor of rap music. In a commonly expressed extreme, it could describe party rap, misogynist rap, violent rap, rap that isn’t concerned with lyricism, rap from certain regions, and rap made by people without formal educations. Many times, it’s a catch-all term used to describe music that the critic simply doesn’t understand.
But there’s a certain constellation of rap music that, when fetishized by white people, causes arched eyebrows across the board. When a white person’s interest in a hip-hop artist seems driven almost entirely by how hood they are, how “real” they seem, it suggests they may, in fact, have a less-than-real relationship with black people, in general..
Rap and Hip Hop, for some white kids, is the only way they can identify with their black counterparts.
It becomes fetishist in a way. I have always concluded that black fetishism is also a form of racism — and we are living in times where this is the core of white kids at Black Lives Matter gatherings and the push by liberal white America for critical race theory.
White people aren’t alone in fetishizing authenticity, but when they do it, it’s much more likely to feel racist, like they have a fantastical idea of how black people live that’s driven more by caricature than truth.
That is the irony of killing the old rock and roll –and replacing it with violent and dark rap that creates fetishism and even an air of Satanism if you want to go to that extreme.
Gone are the days of the Sugar Hill Gang and Tone Loc. Coolio played at a company party I attended in New York.
My stepson, Liam, loves Kanye West and I have listened to many of his albums and it appears that “yay,” as they call him, has found God.
But Travis Scott, whose name is all over your internet feed this morning, has been always rumored to be in cahoots with the devil.
The Travis Scott-headlined festival in Houston called, Astroworld. His moment on stage according to witnesses went from entertaining to horrifying and today the buzz on the internet is reminiscent of the Satanic Panic of the 1980’s.
Police are investigating a deadly crush that killed concert-goers. At least 8 were known dead and three hundred injured as Travis Scott played on. Some witnesses have taken to Tik Tok to claim that what they witnessed was a Satanic Ritual.
These allegations of course have been downplayed by the media as a Far-right racists fantasy and even mentioned that QAnon had to be behind the Satanic Panic.
But the fact is most of the kids that took to the internet are probably unaware of what QAnon is and probably don’t care but Satanic ritual is like pornography, you can’t explain it — you just know what it is when you see it.
Multiple viral tweets and TikTok videos have called attention to what they claim are signs of Satanic rituals in Scott’s performance, including flames and a circle onstage, which people claimed could be used for summoning demons. Some invoked astrology to support their claims
Others posited that the concert opened a portal to Hell. A screenshot of a Reddit post, now going viral on Twitter, purports to be from a Travis Scott concert-goer whose experience led them to believe that “Travis Scott is a demon sent from hell.”
Scott has been known to use material centered on demonic imagery and symbolism. You may remember that Scott performed wit Maroon 5 at the 2019 Superbowl. His moment showed him falling from heaven as a comet or meteor and then performing in a hellish landscape with flames, like he was in the pit of hell.
At the Astroworld show, Scott performed on a stage styled like the gates of hell while revelers entered the gig through a large sculpture of his mouth which has been likened to the famous “Christ in Limbo” painting by Hieronymus Bosch which depicts the “mouth of hell.”
Many people have also pointed out that the slogan for the festival was “See you on the other side” which has not aged well due to the deaths that occurred.
Podcaster Isaac Weishaupt explored this conspiracy on the latest episode of his podcast Conspiracy Theories and Unpopular Culture. He is a popular podcaster on Aftermath.Media.,
Isaac was quoted in Newsweek as saying:
“So here’s the temple grounds of Astroworld, the place where they they’re telling you flat out you’re about to enter a new realm, a new dimension. And here’s your rapper, gods, and we’re going to make a sacrifice to the gods,” Weishaupt says.
While on Twitter, many people are also using phrases like “demonic ritual” and “blood sacrifice” to describe Astroworld.
Many tweets by attendees continue to spread the demonic gospel of ritual and blood shed:
“Travis Scott sold his soul to the devil. Astro World was a BLOOD SACRIFICE. He took 8 innocent lives to pledge his allegiance to the occult elite. “He didn’t do it om purpose!” SO WHY IS HE SINGING AS THEY CARRY OFF A DEAD BODY THEN?!?
Scott released a statement on Sunday saying he was “absolutely devastated” about the tragic events that unfolded at Astroworld.
Scott’s involvement in the tragedy has drawn scrutiny, and already become the subject of a lawsuit. Prior to the festival, Houston’s police chief personally visited Scott to warn him of the potential for rowdy crowds, comprised largely of enthusiastic young fans who had missed concerts during COVID-19.
The Vigilant Citizen website has gotten a lot of attention from doing a breakdown of all of what can be interpreted as Satanic ritual — which adds more fuel to the satanic fire that has spread throughout the internet.
For example Travis Scott eerily released his song, Escape Plan ,right before the Astroworld festival– many in the Twitter verse also picked up on the irony.
The artwork that accompanied the single actually was a spoof on The Weekly World News Batboy Icon with the words: “The True Dystopia is here!” and “When the end arrives its really the beginning.”
The promotion surrounding the Astroworld festival was all about death and portals.
It promoted the idea of a watchful eye watching people being sucked into a portal and telling people “Prepare and open your eyes to a whole new Universe.”
The show began with a fiery, hellish mountain inside which a giant eyeball gazes at the public.
Throughout the show, that hole in the mountain turns into a spirally portal.
Travis Scott was wearing a shirt depicting a person entering a “portal” and emerging transformed.
Every so often there would be a sign in the portal that would flash “See you on the other side.”
According to some accounts a man was in the crowd with s syringe injecting people with an unknown drug — one security guard felt a prick in his neck and was treated with NARCAN — but panic ensued and the rush to the stage began.
According to TMZ it was reported that:
“The Houston PD’s Chief, Troy Finner, just confirmed what we’d been told … namely, that at least one person had been injected with something via needle — and there well may have been more.”
Chief Finner said a security guard working the event felt a prick in his neck by an unknown assailant while he was trying to restrain a citizen — and he quickly fell unconscious. Finner says the guard was revived by use of NARCAN … and that medical personnel did, indeed, see something on his neck that indicated he’d been stabbed with a syringe.
Finner also said some people had been trampled, so it appears there was a mix of reasons why people were injured/passing out … and perhaps why some died. The total number of people who’ve passed away remains at 8, and autopsies are underway to determine the causes of death for each.
What many will be looking for here is whether there’s any evidence to suggest the 8 people who’ve died thus far might’ve been triggered into cardiac arrest via outside influence or a third party … namely, a would-be culprit who was allegedly going around and injecting folks with a syringe.
Astroworld turned into carnage. As more people got hurt, people requested for the show to stop, but it never did. There is also disturbing video of a dead man being carried out of the crowd while Travis Scott is singing a strange autotuned dirge, He had to have seen the kid being carried out –and yet he continued to sing this eerie sounding tune.
The Creepy mountain on the stage was filled with creepy eyes watching over as people were literally dying. The Portal started spinning again with flames shooting up and then giant hands appeared over the portal.
The whole thing was a sick and twisted affair– but this is not the first time we have seen high strangeness during shows of all stripes.
The most recent concert tragedy was back in 2017 when gun fire rained down on concert goers at the Route 91 Festival in Las Vegas. This too sparked a number of conspiracy theories about motive and whether or not the gunfire was coming from a room at Mandalay Bay or if there were helicopters shooting people from above.
Sixty people were killed at the country music festival. When the shooting started the show was halted — unlike what happened at Astroworld.
The incident is the deadliest mass shooting committed by anyone in United States history.
The Who concert disaster occurred on December 3, 1979, when British rock band The Who performed at Riverfront Coliseum (now known as Heritage Bank Center) in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a rush of concert-goers outside the Coliseum’s entry doors resulted in the deaths of 11 people.
But the granddad of all concerts that also was speculated to be a ritual was at Altamont in the 1960’s.
Some say that the use of bad drugs and an antsy crowd was also at fault for the chaos at the Altamont Festival.
However, some believe that the chaos at Altamont was actually a fatal mind control experiment.
By 1968, the FBI’s Counterintelligence Program, and the CIA’s MH Chaos, had included among their long list of domestic enemies “Advocates of New Lifestyles,” “New Left,” “Apostles of Non-Violence and Racial Harmony” and “Restless Youth.”
Many rock groups and rocks stars were being used to peddle the drug culture and many of them fell victim to the system when they wanted to go clean and become political.
LSD was the moving force behind Altamont killings and violence December 6, 1969. Thousands of tabs were distributed to the Hell’s Angels, who then went totally berserk and started beating and stabbing people while The Rolling Stones played, Under My Thumb.
Mick Jagger was also warned about safety issues and the use of The Hell’s Angels for security.
Jagger had ignored repeated warnings as he plowed on with his plans for Altamont in his lust for glory and a fitting end to the money-spinning rock documentary he had commissioned.
The Grateful Dead agreed to organize the concert. They had often used local Hells Angels as security. Their manager Rock Scully told the Stones they were ‘really some righteous dudes’ who ‘carry themselves with honor and dignity’.
Jagger had an aversion to police after bad experiences at shows in Europe, and from the start of negotiations for this tour, had been adamant: no uniformed police would be allowed inside any concert hall. The Angels stepped up for duty and arriving ahead of the show tore down the neighboring fences for firewood and sat around playing music, taking LSD, smoking joints and having sex.
Unknown to the complacent Stones, these were no longer the happy, innocent days of the Summer of Love. Some chemists had added the poison strychnine to their LSD recipe because it was said to extend the length of the trip. Some threw speed into the mix. Bad trips spread throughout the crowd at Altamont from the start, and many fell prey to acid-spiked drinks. The crucial detail of medical care had been put off until the last minute, leaving the site with eight doctors, four psychiatric doctors from UCSF hospital, and a Red Cross team who, mercifully, had turned up uninvited.
A fat, naked Latino man was pummelled for dancing erratically and could later be seen covered in blood, his teeth missing. A naked woman dispensing hugs received similar treatment. The injured were littered backstage like wounded soldiers.
Hells Angels crowded the stage, savagely knocking out singer Marty Balin of support band Jefferson Airplane while they played. One sat beside Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s Stephen Stills as he performed and stabbed him in the leg with a sharpened bicycle spoke every time Stills stepped forward to sing. Streams of blood soaked his trousers.
As they took to the stage, the Stones belatedly realized the situation had gone far beyond their control. Angels glowered at them from all around, and wouldn’t stop beating people in full view of the band.
Merdith Hunter, a black man with a white girlfriend, had attracted the attention of Angels all day. As the Stones went into Under My Thumb, Hunter was smashed in the face by a biker. He tried to scramble away into the audience, but four or five more Angels pounced on him.
He managed to get up and started to run away. Stumbling and out of breath, Hunter pulled a gun from his waistband.
A 22-year-old Hell’s Angel, Alan Passaro, leapt through the air and plunged a hunting knife into Hunter’s neck. They tumbled to the ground together. Passaro kept stabbing the boy in the back. Several other Angels stamped on him. One stood on his head.
The attackers refused to let onlookers help the stricken Hunter. ‘Don’t touch him,’ one man was told. ‘He’s going to die anyway. Let him die. He’s going to die.’
Ignoring the Angels, two concert-goers carried Hunter to the stage, hoping to pass him to medical help backstage. They flopped his body down in front of guitarist Keith Richards, whose eyes widened in panic.
The free concert that should have been the grand finale of the Stones’ 1969 US tour, but instead degenerated into a night of mayhem and murder that marked the brutal end of the hopes and dreams of the hippy era.
This is the dark history that killed Flower Power and some say it was a MH-Chaos/MK-Ultra set up by the CIA.
Could this be comparable to what happened at Astroworld?
Scott was visited by the Houston police chief before his show on Friday who shared concerns about the crowd.
Cops revealed that a crazed man injected victims with opioids before stampede happened that killed 8 people including a ten year old.
Could this be a repeat of MH-Chaos/MK Ultra situation where the same thing that happened at Altamont happened at Astroworld?
Could this be an attempt to cripple the hip hop world — and end it like the hippy era was shot down after the Altamont incident?
Is this a covert CIA operation?
The CIA have their own operatives , and are deeply involved in the drug trade. They control the politicians some of the Hollywood elite and musicians . They operate their own propaganda network in conjunction with the private mercenaries they hire for their operations. The corporate mass media take their orders, orders that need not be direct, but sometimes are, because these media are structured to do the bidding of the same elites that formed the CIA and own the media.
Organized criminals learn to adapt to the changing times, and this could be the art stock and trade of intelligence operatives — after all many tweets were actually speaking of Illuminati tactics being carried out at Astroworld.
Since the major revelations of the late sixties and seventies – MK-Ultra, has always being involved in what can be called cultural engineering; this time, with all of the traps of narcotics, rap music and satanic imagery.
Scott could be just a useful idiot in the cause for chaos and panic.
