11/8/23: SH!T SHOW – THE WITHER AWAY CHAMPIONSHIP W/ JAMES CORBETT

Posted on November 8th, 2023 by Clyde Lewis

For some reason, the media is deciding there must be a rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump for the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election. This is surreal and the biggest parapolitical question is why most people are even giving this idea a chance to bloom and grow into a dumpster fire. Itundefineds a stage show gala for the sheep that believe in the Hollywood trappings of a scripted dog and pony show, complete with cartwheeling clowns. We’re being duped into believing that this mockery of a choice between two candidates who are equally unfit for office translates to having some say in how the government is run. Tonight on Ground Zero, Clyde Lewis talks with investigative journalist and host of The Corbett Report, James Corbett about SH!T SHOW - THE WITHER AWAY CHAMPIONSHIP.

SHOW TRANSCRIPT:

One of the unfortunate things about being an evening late-night show is that there are many instances where we are pre-empted by a college football or basketball game, or on election night we are constantly being interrupted by voting tallies and in-depth analysis of why some lose and why some win.

It is to be expected undefined I have been dealing with this for as long as I have been syndicated.

This is where I beg my audience to listen online for free or subscribe to the aftermath.media service.

I normally donundefinedt care to speak about politics nor do I have a particular affinity for one side or the other. But from what I have been reading it seems that voters and the polls do not match.

It was reported that there were unbelievable upsets against conservatives with regards to abortion rights and Kentucky, which is a red state reelected a Democratic governor.

Wow, what a show undefined election night is almost like a mini Super Bowl undefined with teams and colors undefined the only thing missing is scantily clad cheerleaders.

Now it is the anticipation for the 2024 election and for some reason, the media is deciding that there needs to be a rematch between President Joe Biden and Former President Donald Trump.

This is surreal and the biggest parapolitical question is why most people are even giving this idea a chance to bloom and grow into a dumpster fire.

Stop kidding yourself undefined they are not having an election in 2024 undefined they are having a stage show gala undefined for the sheep that believe in the Hollywood trappings of a scripted dog and pony show, complete with cartwheeling clowns.

What is being staged is not an election.

It’s a con game, a scam, a grift, a hustle, a swindle, and “we the people” are nothing more than marks, suckers, stooges, mugs, rubes, or gulls.

We’re being duped into believing that this mockery of a choice between two candidates who are equally unfit for office translates to having some say in how the government is run.

To the contrary, this con game is part of a long-running, elaborate scam to keep the Deep State in power and leave the populace deluded, distracted, and incapable of demanding accountability, transparency and decency from the government and its cohorts.

Does America truly believe that a gerontocracy is something we need right now?

I guess we can determine that we are a declining society and that we are being lolled and entertained into bringing together two aging men who represent the age and decay of our democracy.

In Moscow, the late nineteen-seventies and early 1980s was the era known as zastoi, the time of stagnation. Leonid Brezhnev, the Communist Party’s longtime General Secretary until his death, in 1982, suffered from arteriosclerosis and an alarming dependence on sleeping pills; ordinary Soviets, in the privacy of their kitchens, mocked his inability to speak a clear sentence.

Brezhnev’s successor, Yuri Andropov, was stricken by kidney failure shortly after taking office and lasted fifteen months. The Kremlin H.R. department promoted Konstantin Chernenko, an unsteady chain smoker in his eighth decade. His emphysema was so acute that he could not climb the steps to the Lenin Mausoleum. Soon, he was often working from the hospital. In February 1985, a large room there was remodeled so that television viewers could watch him casting his ballot at his “local polling station.” Two weeks later, Chernenko was dead.

Is the United States amid its own zastoi? Are we teetering towards a democracy headed by gerontocrats?

Even Rockstars know when it is time to hang it up undefined but with a whole lot of makeup, balloons, and cool graphics, the old-timer politicians can look like old actors giving it a college try.

These elections are being smoothed over by filters, to hide the age spots and interpreters that can translate what Biden mumbles into English.

and the sheep are bleating away in some sort of trance.

Election reality shows somehow have the ability to make the sheep feel that their government and perspective leaders and other persons of authority as doing their best to make our lives safe and more comfortable.

And why not? Not only have we all been brainwashed since little children to see government, at least in a democratic society, to be benevolent.

After all, we have been taught they work for us, havenundefinedt we?

There is also a very strong history of benevolent government in our history(so we are told). Books, movies, songs, myths, and fairy tales, all have done their share in pounding into us the virtue of great American leaders such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, FDR, JFK, M-O-U-S-E.

But today we know just how corrupt our so-called leaders are- and yet we still fall for the pageantry, hometown discussions and debates undefined every four years,

If you dig only a tiny bit below the surface you will see that not too many of these folks on the stage fit this virtuous model. Humans of this sort have been more often than not, greedy, loathsome, treacherous, and evil.

But they are wearing their nice three-piece suits -because fashionable Hugo Boss designs are so 20th century, who knows the fashion designs may just make a comeback because of Klaus Schwab and other fascists from Davos.

They secretly run the world you know- and we have a President that shows up to their meetings to take notes undefined but the cameras arenundefinedt rolling.

But the special effects are turned up for the big show for the rematch.

It seems to be on like Donkey Kong but a lot of voters are dissatisfied with what is being offered.

Biden and Trump are viewed unfavorably by a majority of voters in six battleground states, one-fifth of voters don’t like either of them, and enthusiasm about the coming election is down sharply compared with a poll conducted before the 2020 contest.

That frustration and malaise have prompted voters to entertain the idea of other options. When asked about the likeliest 2024 matchup, Biden versus Trump, only 2 percent of those polled said they would support another candidate.

But there are those Die Hards that still buy into the reality show and the media push for a prize fight between two senior citizens,

We’re being duped into believing that this mockery of a choice between two candidates who are equally unfit for office translates to having some say in how the government is run.

To the contrary, this particular con game is part of a long-running, elaborate scam to keep the Deep State in power and leave the populace deluded, distracted, and incapable of demanding accountability, transparency, and decency from the government and its cohorts.

Politics is entertainment.

It is a heavily scripted, tightly choreographed, star-studded, ratings-driven, mass-marketed, costly exercise in how to sell a product—in this case, a presidential candidate——to dazzled consumers who will choose image over substance almost every time.

This year’s presidential election, much like every other election in recent years, is what historian Daniel Boorstin referred to as a “pseudo-event”: manufactured, contrived, confected and devoid of any intrinsic value save the value of being advertised. It is the result of a culture that is moving away from substance toward sensationalism in an era of mass media.

It can be comparable to a sporting event undefined where people urge other people to participate undefined The only thing missing is the wings and beer.

The election shows are part of a marketing plan devised by the same people who make advertisements for drugs and cars.

In other words, we’re being sold a carefully crafted product by a monied elite who are masters in the art of making the public believe that they need exactly what is being sold to them, whether it’s the latest high-tech gadget, the hottest toy, or the most charismatic politician.

Politics is a reality show, America’s favorite form of entertainment, dominated by money and profit, imagery and spin, hype and personality and guaranteed to ensure that nothing in the way of real truth reaches the populace.

Forget all of those past sins these psychopaths have committed in your name, with your tax dollars undefined there is no business like show business.

It’s a line and profile we have been fed for quite some time. Since day one. Remember too, no one votes for an ugly politician. You can’t trust them unless they are pretty.

We are told all these people who run the show are, particularly if they claim to be, innocent. And of course, they will always claim that they are innocent.

They will also claim they were doing the best they could, for the betterment of society. They will also, amid the smoldering battlefield strewn with the dead and dying, claim what they did was for the best.

“It was to ward off climate change, it was to stop the deadly virus, it was to preserve democracy, it was for peace in Europe, it was for peace in the Middle East.”

These are all noble causes. These are all causes we can stand behind, even if the actions the “powers that be” implemented failed miserably to accomplish the said goal, at least they tried. “The reason we told you was a good reason, even if it wasn’t the real reason.”

We believe they all thought it was a good reason. They will undoubtedly say: “We didn’t know the climate was not changing when we took away your cars, your travel, your heat, your air conditioning, your food, your water, your freedoms. We thought it would make a difference.”

All of the show business and clever scripting can make that all go away just long enough to get that vote undefined which is just another blank check to continue their treachery.

And people will go along with this. They already have as the “powers that be” begin to implement their plan to fight the horrors of Mother Nature (weather and other natural disasters), who has been angered with the belligerence of the “way too many” human beings occupying the planet—with their plastic straws, plates and spoons, and all that other household garbage they lazily throw into landfills and into the ocean.

In 15 years or less people will be living in “Smart Cities” with roadblocks placed strategically to slow traffic or block access.

People probably won’t even own cars then. They will not need to venture more than 10 minutes from their home. They will be eating bugs as their main food staple, they will live in 100º F heat in their homes in the summer and 30º F cold, or worse, in the winter because their fuel has been rationed. No one will travel anywhere anymore because all common air travel will have been outlawed.

I guess those could be spoilers undefined sorry that I didnundefinedt give the undefinedSpoiler Alertundefined warning.

The rich and famous deserve their celebrity, and their perks, regardless of what it brings to the lowly serfs below them. The useless eaters.

Yes, thats us and we are also the ticket buyers of their off-Broadway act.

We all say that we are seeking leadership that strives for equality in power, thus eliminating tyranny and totalitarianism.

But every scripted act needs a plot complication.

For years now, we have suffered the injustices, cruelties, corruption and abuse of an entrenched government bureaucracy that has no regard for the Constitution or the rights of the citizenry.

The entrenched Deep State is unaffected by elections, unaltered by populist movements, and has set itself beyond the reach of the law.

It is obvious that they are running the show undefined and this is why they are baiting us to demand a rematch of Biden and Trump.

We have lingered too long in this strange twilight zone where ego trumps justice, propaganda perverts truth, and imperial presidents—empowered to indulge their authoritarian tendencies by legalistic courts, corrupt legislatures and a disinterested, distracted populace—rule by fiat rather than by the rule of law.

That’s no surprise: power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Where we find ourselves now is in the unenviable position of needing to rein in all three branches of government—the Executive, the Judicial, and the Legislative—that have exceeded their authority and grown drunk on power.

We need to stop treating them like Rock Stars and football players,

They are not Kings or Queens.

We are not their subjects undefined they work for us- think about that when you cast your vote for the prettier of the two undefined or in this case the one who can stand and form sentences.

This is exactly the kind of concentrated, absolute power the founders attempted to guard against by establishing a system of checks of balances that separate and share power between three co-equal branches: the executive, the legislative and the judiciary.

Unadulterated power in any branch of government is a menace to freedom. There’s no point debating which political party would be more dangerous with these powers.

The fact that any individual—or branch of government—of any political persuasion is empowered to act like a dictator is dangerous enough.

It id bad enough that every four years we fall for this nonsense.

Thatundefineds show business.

We are the unwitting victims of a system so corrupt that those who stand up for the rule of law and aspire to transparency in government are in the minority.

But make no mistake: Americans only think they’re choosing the next president. There are plenty of people behind the scenes who are running the show- none of whom are held accountable for their treachery.

In truth, however, they’re engaging in the illusion of participation culminating in the reassurance ritual of voting. It’s just another Blue Pill, a manufactured reality conjured up by the matrix to keep the populace compliant and convinced that their vote counts and that they still have some influence over the political process.

The nation is drowning in debt, crippled by a slowing economy, overrun by militarized police, swarming with surveillance, besieged by endless wars and a military-industrial complex intent on starting new ones, and riddled with corrupt politicians at every level of government.

All the while, we’re arguing over which corporate puppet will be given the honor of stealing our money, invading our privacy, abusing our trust, undermining our freedoms, and shackling us with debt and misery for years to come.

Nothing taking place on any Election Day will alleviate the suffering of the American people.

We are ruled by an elite class of individuals who are completely out of touch with the problems of the average American.

Stop playing the game. Stop supporting the system. Stop defending the insanity. Stop watching the show undefined it is staged and rigged for the pleasure of the elite.

If it carries even a sliver of tyranny, oppose it. Demand that your representatives in government do better.

I you decide to vote – vote for someone who abides by the Constitution and doesn’t just attempt to sidestep it.

A vote only matters if it is followed up by action.
