12/16/22: CAPTIVE OF THE RAKE W/ MISSY LEIGH STERLING

Posted on December 16th, 2022 by Clyde Lewis

During the Summer of 2003, events in the Northeastern United States involving a strange, humanlike creature sparked brief local media interest. There appeared to be a number of people who were seeing a scary entity that was being called “The Rake.” The name was taken from an internet meme that was created on a social network. Itundefineds best described as a slender and bald grinning man who is at the side of your bed as you wake up from a deep sleep at night.  Could this be yet another Tulpa who has leaped into our consciousness from the internet? Tonight on Ground Zero, Clyde Lewis talks with paranormal experiencer and author, Missy Leigh Sterling about CAPTIVE OF THE RAKE.

SHOW TRANSCRIPT:

Whether you are conscious of it or not, we are affected by different vibrations. Every one of us is affected by what is going on in the universe. Some are now saying that the universe is out of synch and when it is out of synch we begin to see anomalous activity. Paranormal experiences increase, and people become haunted in their own homes.

I have said that heaven and hell are out of synch which puts us all in a very vulnerable position spiritually. Of course, what is slowing us down spiritually tends to manifest in the material world.

These darker and unbalanced energies come from places, thought forms, possessions, human parasites, ghosts, poltergeists, demonic contact and even bad dreams or dreams that are seen as apocalyptic and troubling.

Morpheus was the Greek god of dreams. Morpheus usually appears as a tall, thin man with bone-white skin, black hair, He customarily wears a billowing black cape.

His story has evolved over time, and it was later that he was called the Sandman.

The Sandman is a mythical being from folklore who is said to be the embodiment of dreams and rules over the realm of dreams and nightmares. Originating from Northern European lore, he brings good dreams by sprinkling magical sand onto the eyes of children while they sleep at night.

There is also another creature bearing the name “Sandman”, but this creature is very different. Its skin is pale, decayed and discolored. It is bald, some say it doesn’t have features — others say it grins at you and makes a clicking sound with its tongue. It has very long fingers. It hides just out of sight in the dark and whispers “tik toc, tik toc” to its unlucky victim. This strange chant quickly puts the victim into a deep sleep.

During sleep, the Sandman devours his victim.

It is the entity at the foot of your bed – a nocturnal entity that is conjuring in dreams and we hope that this is where this entity stays.

Sometimes it doesn’t.

There are some Urban Legends that when told over and over again seem to take on a life all their own. They can eventually show up in our reality and it is at that moment we bear witness to a causal manifestation.

In the Stephen King story, “The Stand” we were introduced to the concept of the “psychic predator.” There were many characters in the story who dreamed of a “dark man” who would come after a great plague.

In what we now call the apocalypse many people are open to paranormal experiences and some individuals have been unlucky enough to encounter what is known as fallen characters or shadowy archetypes that have been spoken of by Carl Jung. The ruling religious and dogmatic know that in this time Satan, demons, and other nefarious beings indicate spiritual realities.

We can argue that the demon-haunted world we live in is the result of the prophets and authors who have warned us for time ad infinitum of powers that exist in the darkness and while magic is being embraced by the younger generations, the older generations worry that the dabbling in such powers can only lead to destruction and harm.

After our previous contacts with Dr. Heldore, I was convinced that what we were dealing with was a Tulpa and not a disincarnated spirit.

When Diabolus Rex appeared on Ground Zero he believed that Dr. Heldore was a Tulpa but one that escaped from the internet onto our Ouija board.  He described the corpse-like image of Loab that has appeared to people online and the once terrifying vision of Momo who allegedly urged children to commit suicide.

He was insinuating that the ghost literally can leap from the machine onto the Ouija board or into our lives and maybe on some dark and stormy night we can meet them in our dark bedrooms during a surreal dream.

A Tulpa is the product of a story or parable that generates enough energy to manifest visually outside of the existential world.

It is conceptually similar to that of a spiritual architect that designs a thought form. There eventually is a template and a blueprint that is followed and repeated. When the process becomes ingrained in the collective unconscious, the thought-form can manifest visually as if it is being constructed piece by piece until it shows itself.

A Tulpa is quite literally the idea that objects and events can happen by sheer willpower alone. It is causal engineering that can either benefit or destroy the group or person that has created it.

It was Director Wes Craven who taught me a thing or two about Tulpas. During an interview I did for my own sci-Fi Horror Fanzine, Craven told me a story about how he worried that Freddy Kruger was such a powerful character that he worried that he was a tulpa that leapt from the screen into the body of a real murderer.

In 1984, there were worries that perhaps the movie “Nightmare on Elm Street” inspired the real-life “Night Stalker” Richard Ramirez. Ten years later, Wes Craven explored the possibility of the fictional serial killer Freddy Krueger leaping out of the screen into reality in “Wes Craven’s New Nightmare” in 1994. The film was laughable, but two years later Craven had to face the possibility that his films that featured complex killers were creating some sort of force that possessed people into murdering others.

He worried that perhaps Freddy Krueger was becoming a very real Tulpa and that through Richard Ramirez manifested in reality.

He could have been kidding but he seemed very serious at the time.

Many people do not realize that we live in a world of Tulpas and with all of the theories, interpretations, and worlds that exist within our world Tulpas, or if you will, thought forms transform and mutate their way into becoming words, actions, and manifestations that we did not expect to show up in our reality.

Thoughts resonate at frequency, they can be exchanged in many ways and when a thought form is all-consuming with the consensus we begin to see peculiarities take shape. If the consensus can agree that peace and tranquility is all around us and they can picture puppies chasing, balls, ballerinas and cart-wheeling clowns then the world would eventually transform into a fun fair.

There are many people who say that they desire peace, love and tranquility and they never achieve it to their satisfaction.

It is because they don’t realize that desires are only part of what it takes to see them manifest. I struggle with these things myself. We all do. We are trying to regain our personal powers as we are being bombarded with attitudes and programming that
stifle that power. At times it seems more convenient to just go back to sleep and hit the snooze bar repeatedly until we no longer have the will to open our eyes.

Positive desires have to be generated first in your collective unconscious in order for them to manifest. I argue that the collective unconscious of the world has been so
bombarded with apocalyptic and negative energy that it is becoming easier to predict the outcome of such core programming.

I can prove that Tulpas are real and that the results of such Tulpas create a psychic construct that can rip a hole in the universe and manifest right before our eyes.

The world is not only populated by upright walking human beings and animals. It is populated and under the control of various thought forms. There is within those thoughts a great deal of resonant noise and if you listen carefully to the noise there is
always something that finds a way to surface, manifest and renders consequence.

That is why as Karl Jung had warned, we must strive to avoid those “Shadow archetypes” that creep into our collective unconscious. They undermine everything we set out to accomplish. How we see ourselves is how we see the world and if the collective unconscious is sending you a warning you must pay attention and be vigilant.

Dire apocalyptic prophecies are no longer prophecies. They are apocalyptic blueprints for dismantling civilization and people are revering them because they are blinded by their
own interpretations and their opinion that they are allegedly inspired by God.

When a shadow archetype manifests it confronts us with the truth about ourselves.

Last week, Ryan Gable and I spoke of this strange terminology that Oxford research claimed was the word of phrase of the year undefined that was Goblin Mode.

I was taken aback because I was curious about how this came to be undefined after all Meriam Webster decided that gaslighting was the word of the year.

Goblin mode generated thoughts of staying in and isolating yourself but it also generated thoughts of goblins undefined these strange little creatures with bald heads pale skin and pointy ears.

Goblins are like little demons, or even aliens that are seen at night, sometimes looking into your room through the window or waiting in your room to sit on your chest. The show that Ryan Gable and I presented was very popular and days later something very synchronistic happened.

A Reddit user posted a picture taken by a security camera near a deer feeder in the forest.  Standing to the left of the picture is a pale, bald and skinny humanoid figure.

No one could make out what it was, the headline said it was a undefinedGoblin.undefined

The author of the post refused to name the place where this picture was taken, only indicating that he only had this one photo, which was taken by an automatic camera that responds to movement.

Judging by the dates in the picture, the event happened on November 27, 2022.

The discussions under the post turned out to be very intense. People agreed that the object looked like a small, naked man whose eyes glowed like those of a nocturnal animal. Goblin, troll, or duende.

Interestingly, no one said it looked like an alien gray.

Someone actually brought up the story from Argentina where last April in the town of Berón de Astrada where a three-year-old boy named Sebastian wandered away from home.   He was in a superhero outfit wanting to go fight some villains.   Thinking that the kid  was simply going to play in their neighborhood, she grew concerned when, shortly after leaving the residence, the little boy  was nowhere to be found.

A frantic search soon commenced and, after several hours of looking for Sebastian, his relieved mother received word that the boy had been found under rather strange circumstances. It turned out that the toddler had manage to travel around two miles from his home and somehow wound up in a lagoon.

A woman claimed that she heard a dog barking undefined it turned out to be the young boyundefineds dog.  The dog was pulling the young boy out the water his teeth clenched on the boyundefineds superhero cape.

After an investigation and after talking with several people there were witnesses who said that what they saw was an entity called Pombero.

I Lived in South America and recognized the name from Guarani legends. The Guarani were the first indigenous people of South America. The Pombero is a small humanoid creature, sometimes described with dark skin and others say it is a small creature with white skin and no hair.

Karai Pyhare is also the name of the creature which in Guarani means man of the night.

Pomberos sound like whining dogs undefined some say they chirp like birds or squirrels.

The Pombero also seems to have ths same characteristics as a creature known as the Rake.  It is argued that the Rake is a tulpa that was created on the internet in a creepypasta blog. Much like Slenderman the creature has now somehow arrived in or reality.

During the summer of 2003, events in the northeastern United States involving a strange, humanlike creature sparked brief local media interest. There seemed to be a number of people who were seeing a bedside entity that was being called “The Rake.” The name was taken from an Internet meme that was created on a social network.  The Rake was a hairless creature reported to be at least 6 feet tall, emaciated and sinewy with dark black eyes. The entity allegedly looked like a balding old man. The ribs could clearly be seen against the skin and the lips on the face were pulled back slightly giving the entity a death grin. When startled the entity was supposed to run away on all fours.

Witness accounts say that the Rake has a specific sound when it speaks.  While words can be heard from the mouth of the Rake the entity tends to sound like a whiney dog when it communicates.

The Rake sometimes asks if it is okay to spend the night in the room with you.

The first reports of The Rake came from rural New York State. After it was revealed that a similar creature was written about as fiction on the internet the media lost interest in the entity. Even though there were many reports of people being terrified by the phantom intruder, television stations would air so-called “photos” of the entity and then immediately dismissed them as elaborate hoaxes.

While The Rake gets its name from a fictional blog, the entity itself is very real and has been written about in various books and mainstream news sources as the “night visitor” “creeper” or “the bald grinning man.”  The Rake has been known to shapeshift into a woman and sometimes what appears to be a dog-like creature with a long neck. It is a lot like the Incubi and succubae demons.

Some report that in its female form it looks more like a hag or a Chron.

In 1974 there was an infamous case of Doris Bither who lived in Culver City California. The Entity Case is one of the most harrowing poltergeist Incubus phenomena ever documented.

Bither claimed that she was battered and raped repeatedly by unseen forces, ghosts or demons intent on harassing and abusing her. There were at least three shadowy figures in her home. There were allegedly two small beings that held her down and a larger one that raped her.

Author Frank De Felitta and others like Dr. Barry Taff witnessed events firsthand. Felitta chronicled his incredible experiences in the Culver City house in his book, The Entity. De Felitta mentioned in an interview that they were able to capture photos of the orbs that move through the home. Later, according to De Felitta Doris yelled out to the entity to materialize. When it did they were able to capture a grainy shot of an arm and shoulder, the being started transforming into a strange hairless creature with a bald head.

Once again the traditional image of what we now call a Rake.

The latest encounter of the Rake Happened to  Missy Leigh Sterling.  While driving home in a rural area one night several years ago, she said, a strange and horrifying being appeared in the road in front of her. Sterling described this creature as a translucent-skinned, hairless, and undefinedinsanely thinundefined humanoid without distinctive facial features except for a gaping mouth and massive black eyes. After making eye contact with her, the creature ran away with an eerie scream. More recently, she claimed, she actually spotted the creature again from her car, this time with her mother next to her.

Initially, Sterling was somewhat relieved to learn of similar stories by others describing very closely the being she saw: what some called a rake or a pale crawler.

The Rake visitations are very similar to alien abduction attacks. The only difference is that there is no subsequent UFO experience where other entities are waiting in a craft to do experiments.

The Rake performs in the same way as “The Creeper” or “The bogeyman.”  He is thin and bald and has a very strange grin.  Many believe that the grin is the lips being drawn back in the mouth showing more of the entityundefineds smile.

The Rake appears in dreams as well.

Aleister Crowley once published a picture of an entity he once conjured during a sex magic ritual.  The Character known as LAM was a bald entity that he saw as “the way.”  It was later that Occultist Madam Helena Blavatsky used the image of LAM and called it a representation of “the voice of the silence.”

The main theme of The Voice of the Silence, clearly brought out by Crowley, is the need to establish contact with the Silent Self. This corresponds to the Dwarf Self, the phallic consciousness.

It is believed that LAM was brought forth from sexual energy.

This seems to be the same type of energy that triggers poltergeist activity.

Crowley referred to the creature LAM as a Homunculus.

The purpose of the Homunculus was to be a servant of man and over time scientists and magicians have wanted to bring into the world a perfect servant whether it be natural, supernatural, or unnatural.

To the Kabbalists, the Homunculus was called the Golem, or a man made of clay. They compared the creation to the breaking of a huge bottle where the flow of life began and the man came into the world as a little version of himself, bald and sylph-like.

The Homunculus looks exactly like a Goblin, a little alien, or even a Rake.

Looking at all of the recent cases of paranormal activities in the world we most certainly will have to consider an appearance of a bald pale rail thin creature when we pull the covers over our bed at night.

SHOW GUEST: MISSY LEIGH STERLING

Missy Leigh Sterling believes that something about her particular arrangement of molecules has set her up for countless experiences of high strangeness. She imagines this ability may be due to a genealogical predisposition as her grandmother was very psychic. Missy also has a neurological condition called Synesthesia, whereby incoming information meant to stimulate one of her senses bleeds through and stimulates others. It irritates her that experiences of high strangeness are swiftly dismissed by others. Missy would like to help shift the cultural narrative as it relates to the supernatural. Her book is titled Rakes, Fakes, and Double Takes. Missyundefineds website is https://www.missyleighsterling.com/
