AT THE EDGE OF THE END
MONOLOGUE WRITTEN BY CLYDE LEWIS
Looking back at the year 2018, it can be said that what we have lived through was certainly a precautionary tale of how close we can come to the edge without really falling off into oblivion. From the air of civil war, to the threat of world war at world’s end we have been on the brink all year even though we were certain that we have made inroads to peace with President Trump’s meetings with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and his current withdrawal of troops from Syria and eventually Afghanistan.
In the act of defiance against the New World Order, President Trump has taken this country to a crossroads.
In the soap opera that is politics and the tabloids that are the mainstream media, one of the most stunning moves in American history went practically unnoticed. America or in reality, President Trump announced to the world that it is hoisting itself outside of and above the world order.
Now, arguably this can be a lauded move, but it brings with it consequences that I feel most Americans will not be prepared for.
Winning over America is one thing, putting a target on America is a side effect of thumbing your nose at the world order at large.
Europe’s new perception of the world sees America as an obstacle to the world order, to their interests and to their safety. Yet, they too are angry and frustrated about the world controls and the higher taxation in order to push the world into a green economy in order to redistribute the wealth as directed by the United Nation’s 2030 directive.
Europe used to see the United States as it’s dependable ally, now they are resistant and have found a new interest in Russia and China as allies of the future and yet they do not know that the relationship will certainly put them in an even more precarious position because these powers are looking to establish a world order with the same state socialist policies that keeps Democracy on a leash and drags it out when it is necessary to keep up appearances.
Though President Trump may have originally intended to rebalance the world order in favor of American unipolarity by confronting and containing China and warming relations with Russia, an unending series of sanctions and hostilities towards both Russia and China has brought about the pressure to avoid the inevitability of a showdown that could trigger pre-nuclear brinkmanship.
There is no clear cut enemy or ally at the end of 2018 and that is why I see the world on the edge of the end. If the end times have a timeline where there is evidence of its nativity, then 2018 was the year for it and 2019 will be the year where it will become more evident exponentially.
Just days ago, Russian President Putin spoke gravely of the future.
At Putin’s annual news conference, he stated that failures in respecting nuclear treaties could lead the world into a nuclear conflagration.
He pointed at Washington’s intention to walk away from the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, or INF, and its reluctance to negotiate the extension of the 2010 New START agreement could pose an immediate threat to the safety of the world.
Moscow and Washington have been at odds over the INF, which bans an entire class of weapons — all nuclear and conventional ground-launched ballistic and cruise missiles of intermediate range. U.S. officials say Washington’s withdrawal from the pact was prompted by Russian violations of the treaty, which Moscow vehemently denies.
Meanwhile, it was announced today that Russia has a new strategic weapon that can travel 27 times faster than the speed of sound. This makes the new Avangard hypersonic glide vehicle impossible to intercept.
Putin said the Avangard will enter service with the Russian Strategic Missile Forces next year.
Unlike previous nuclear warheads fitted to intercontinental ballistic missiles that follow a predictable trajectory allowing it to calculate the spot where they can be intercepted, the Avangard chaotically zigzags on its path to its target, making it impossible to predict the weapon’s location.
The Avangard could be fitted to the Soviet-made UR-100UTTKh intercontinental ballistic missile, which is code-named SS-19 Stiletto by NATO.
They are on the ready to be put into the silos.
The test and development of this doomsday weapon, of course, seemed inevitable. Russian U.S. relations have turned cold over the Ukranian crisis, and the allegations of Moscow’s meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
I can’t help but think that all of this has become a self-fulfilling prophecy. For at least two years, the mainstream media has taken the position that Russia should not be trusted.
Speaking of prophecies the three major faiths are turning to their scriptural prophecies and are declaring again that the signs of the ages are upon us and that the world is ready for the eschaton.
Many Rabbis’ have now proclaimed that the natural course of things has become unnatural and that there have been many signs that have been given that the messiah will come.
Volcanoes and earthquakes are constantly shaking the Ring of Fire – an area of high seismic activity which ranges from New Zealand, up to northern Russia, across the US and then down to Chile.
Just before Christmas, Indonesia was today hit by a tsunami, killing at least 168 people that was linked to the eruption of the Krakatoa volcano.
Next month, a super blood moon will pass over the U.S. capital on a Jewish holiday in a manner that one pastor argues connects to a prophecy in Zechariah, creating a link between Donald Trump and Persian King Cyrus building the Jewish Temple.
On January 21, a confluence of worlds will take place when a lunar eclipse passes over Washington D.C. on the Jewish holiday of Tu B’Shevat, the 15th day of the Hebrew month Shevat: the arboreal New Year.
Shevat means Sabbath or seventh day.
It is expected that this eclipse will have the proper conditions to create a blood moon in which the moon has a distinctly reddish tint. If so, this blood moon will be a super moon, which occurs when the moon is at its perigee; the point in its month-long elliptical orbit brings it closest to Earth. At that time, the moon appears up to 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than at its apogee, its furthest point from Earth.
It also lands on the second anniversary of Donald Trump’s inauguration as President. The anniversary also lends itself to some peculiar synchronicity. It should be noted that Trump was born on the night of June 14, 1946, within fifteen minutes of a total lunar eclipse and 700 days before the state of Israel was established. Trump’s lucky sevens did not end there. When he was sworn in as President on January 20, 2017, he was 70-years-old, seven months and seven days.
Pastor Mark Blitz who is the founder of El Shaddai Ministries has singled out this particular blood moon as a fulfillment of Prophecy and the first stepping stone to the return of the messiah.
Citing Jewish scripture and prophecy Blitz noted that a blood moon passed over Jerusalem on Tu B’shevat last year, Pastor Biltz emphasized that this was necessary for the sign to be a complete sign.
“Two blood moons, both on the same day of the Hebrew calendar, are witnessing that the judgment has been passed and great things are about to happen,” Pastor Biltz said.
Pastor Biltz sees this blood moon as being especially portentous for the president of the United States regarding his relationship with Israel, as per his understanding of the first chapter in Zechariah, which talks about the King of Cyrus and his red horse and the three other horses that eventually come to represent the horses with riders of the apocalypse.
The scripture speaks of the second reign of Darius, who we know as the Persian King Cyrus. which takes place in the 70th year of the exile,” Pastor Biltz explained. “The red horse, or the blood moon, will be coming in the same month, the month of Shevat. This will be the second year of Trump’s presidency, just as Zechariah described the second year of the reign of Cyrus as being the time to begin building the Temple.”
Blitz connects Trump with the King of Cyrus.
We are now again at the end of the 70 years from Israel blossoming as a fig tree!” Pastor Biltz said. “The prophet Zechariah declares that it is time to rebuild the Temple but adds a warning.”
It says in the first chapter of Zechariah:
Therefore thus saith the lord; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the Lord of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.
On December 10th, a Temple ready altar was dedicated outside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem.
It was accomplished on the last day of Hanukah.
The altar is built out of bricks over a wooden frame, and specifically not of stone, since Jewish law requires that the Temple and its various structures not be made out of stone that has been built by iron implements.
The altar itself weighs some four-and-a-half tons, and the ramp another two tons. It was built in the Elkana settlement in the western Samaria district by carpenters, brick layers and other construction specialists.
Organizers intended that a sheep was to be slaughtered during the dedication ceremony, and the various rituals, including burning some of its limbs and innards on the altar were to be performed. However, the sacrifice was frowned upon by the Jerusalem Municipal Authority’s legal department.
Last September, we reported that a red heifer was born fulfilling a prophecy found in the Book of Numbers. The red cow is to be slaughtered, burned and then its ashes are to be turned into a paste and used in anointing the builders of the Third Temple.
There are many Jewish teachings regarding what needs to happen before the Temple can be rebuilt. In addition to things, such as the appearance of Elijah, the war between Gog and Magog, the ingathering of the Jewish exiles to Israel, many Jews believe a red heifer is needed to ritually purify the Jews before they could create and enter this sacred space, especially the Holy of Holies.
Some Israelis rate the miraculous birth of a red heifer as one of the greatest “signs” of the ages — one of the most significant events to occur since the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D.! Some consider it as important as the establishment of the state of Israel itself in 1948, and the return of Jerusalem to the Jewish people in 1967, in the “Six Day War.”
Why is there such incredible excitement in Israel? Because it is believed that the Temple of God cannot be rebuilt without the sacrifice of a red heifer.
Nor could priesthood function unless each priest is sprinkled with the ashes of a red heifer, mixed with water from the pool of Siloam. Also, many believe that Messiah cannot come until a Temple is rebuilt. Therefore, to start this sequence of events, there must first be a red heifer which meets the halachic requirements which can be sacrificed.
The last red heifer sacrificed by the Jewish priesthood was killed shortly before the Jewish rebellion against the Romans which began in 66 A.D. The ashes of the heifer, along with treasures of the Temple, and Temple artifacts were then removed for safe-keeping and hidden in a place of security.
According to many rabbis, the ashes of the last red heifer slain as a sacrifice must be combined with the ashes of a new red heifer sacrifice, in order to purify the location for the new Temple, the priesthood, and the nation of Israel.
The first sacrifice of a heifer in Israel was performed about some 430 years before the time of the Exodus when Moses led the children of Israel out of Egypt.
I am sure we will begin to see inroads to successfully begging the building of the third temple which would ignite new tensions in the Middle East.
This is how it appears we are on the edge of the end; if the end times are not upon us then the hype is most definitely at its peak and all of the rush to eschaton is just a nudging for God to pay attention and initiate the apocalyptic crescendo.
It is understandable that end times fears can come with worries about Y2K, 2012 Mayan Calendar, 2011 and the apocalyptic yarns spun by the likes of Jim Jones, David Koresh, and Harold Camping.
But a joint effort of the three major religions I underway to remind you that civilization is at its nadir.
All portends of prophecy and end times look good for their area but fade away when we all seem to be above ground.
However, little-by-little, the world is ending and we are witnessing civilizations becoming victims of their own apocalyptic fear. The approach is that it is an inevitability and that for some it will be the final ingredient to their salvation.
It is the rapture ready crowd that needs to understand that there is pain and suffering associated with the end times. Equally, there will be pain and suffering as some people take a stand against the prevailing world order that is to be helmed by the antichrist.
Reading and watching wit apocalyptic eyes is the approach where we see everything as a sign of the times.
Anything can be proven or supported with the Bible if such an approach is employed. Since most people have not developed the discernment to see how the Bible is being misapplied to some of the popular apocalyptic theories. People tend to factualize them or at least give them the benefit of the doubt often out of fear of rejecting them and being sorry later.
Both the theory inventors and the theory believers suffer from the same disadvantage.
As time goes on and nothing prophetic seems to happen, it becomes harder to “suspend disbelief” about them.
However, it has to be emphasized that fulfillment of any prophecy is in the eyes of the beholder and just because you don’t hear about the fulfillment of any prophecy does not mean it hasn’t already met its fulfillment.
The apocalyptic cycle is now hotter than it has ever been. There have been no due dates or expiration dates offered now – just indications that you should be aware of how close we are coming to the edge of the end.
