MONOLOGUE WRITTEN BY CLYDE LEWIS
Last night in the middle of the show, a listener alerted me to loud booms that were heard over northern Arizona.undefined I received e-mails from other listeners that said it sounded like the whole sky had collapsed above them – like a loud thunder that felt like an implosion.
It was an explosion that took their breath away.undefined Just days before Northern Arizona residents spotted a rare daylight fireball that exploded over the region.
Meanwhile, Mexico also reported a bombardment of huge fireballs that were also exploding turning night into daylight. undefined
Residents were saying that they thought they were witnessing the apocalypse.undefinedundefined
History at times can be ruthless about events deemed apocalyptic, and during times of cataclysm can be overzealous about the events.
This is all centered around projected beliefs and faith that these events occurred somewhere out of the blue, beyond the norm and therefore need to be mentioned and chronicled as life-changing.
We tend to think in terms of cause and effect or A causes B.
We are now in the Twilight Zone where “B” causes “A” and it is useless to overthink or dismiss an open conspiracy about the moves towards following a blueprint for the apocalypse.
There will always be the smirk and smug skeptic who will rule out anything that might even fulfill prophecy, declare a supernatural moment as valid and develop a faith-based movement through time that allows for probabilities to manifest. There are things that people think and believe are in existence, but only because they have faith that it is true.
Now if one has experienced an unexplainable event and they have no evidence of the strange event happening to them, does this mean it never happened to them? Is there a time where we can explain to people that the absence of proof is not necessarily proof of absence.
In the so-called science fiction apocalypse, movies and books often show us what comes after. It is a form of predictive programming that wished to paint a picture of how a few survive among the dead and the sick.
Whether it’s a pandemic, nuclear or environmental disaster, apocalypse, and destruction, it fascinates all of us. If science fiction is, as a literature of ideas that may transpire in the future, then apocalyptic science fiction is the literature of how ideas go wrong—an exploration of all of our bad possible futures, and what might happen after.
This can be seen on television shows like the Walking Dead or in movies like World War Z or 28 Days Later.
What is usually missed in these offerings is that while the zombies are the monsters we fear, the most horrible things are being done by the surviving humans to one another.
They truly focus an anti-social behavior and how after a disaster, humans will revert to some sort of base nature after an apocalyptic event.
However many cultural anthropologists believe that if and when we realize that the end is inevitable behaviors of humans will change and that there will be a sort of benevolence that will sweep the planet.
In the end, humans find a need to seek familiar faces and familiar surroundings. This is why many people when faced with certain death, do not wish to die in hospitals but at home surrounded by their loved ones.
Those who do not sense death but feel that a crisis is looming also decide to reach out for familiar things and things that make them feel safe. They secure homes with new locks, they prepare their families for emergencies with safety drills, change the batteries on smoke alarms and buy guns.
This is called attachment theory – sociologists and psychologists theorize that when people face trauma they yearn for social attachment. They wish to find old friends or call loved ones, pay attention to loyal pets and eat comfort foods and do things to make them feel safe and secure.
They want to help others and contribute to society. They prepare for a crisis, and stock up on things like water, food, and drugs they take for their health.
This is not paranoia but logical and important.
People also tend to stop believing in God while others find solace in faith and spirituality.
Thereundefineds this idea that if there is a secret knowledge of the future out there thatundefineds hidden, undefined you would need to summon a prophet or a priest and they would be able to access the future for you.
The most important apocalypse of Judeo-Christian tradition is the revelation to John the last book in the Christian Bible which describes amongst other things the destruction of the world.
In the 21st century, scientists are actually better at talking about the future then a lot of religious figures and so it becomes possible to talk about a scientific apocalypse than a religious one.
Now we have reached a time in history where scientists are reading the future and are now figuring out what the end of the world might look like and how to avoid it.
The ideas of the apocalypse and apocalypticism, in general, have been profoundly influential in American culture.undefined However, there is a division between religion and science over apocalypses you can do something about and those you can’t.
Many people have been used to hearing about the normal religious or Protestant apocalypticism where religious figures say that the end is coming and your only way out of complete destruction is to repent.undefined Now, what is most disconcerting is that in this possible apocalypse the end of the world is inevitable and that if you repent you live on and you will not feel the pain of dying horribly in the final holocaust.
The relatively new apocalypse is the scientific view which indicates that there are signs that the world is ending but we as humans can find ways to avoid it – or at least so things to prolong the time in which the inevitable happens.
As with most preachers and clergy, the apocalypse is a great way to motivate people into repentance, for the prepper, it is a great motivator to stock up on food and survival supplies and the for the scientist, apocalypticism is a useful framework for proposing new ideas and innovations to try and dodge the apocalyptic bullet.
It is business as usual in the Apocalypse and business is good.
One of the more popular scientific views deals with asteroid impacts and Nuclear winter.
Before anyone even bothered to use global warming as an apocalyptic tool science was concerned primarily with nuclear war and the effects it would have on the environment. There was also statistical data being exchanged over how many would perish in a nuclear war and how governments would operate after such an event. There was also a concern n the 1980’s over space threats.
This included asteroid threats and the possibility of extraterrestrial contact and perhaps an invasion wherein both scenarios populations would be wiped out and that the world would have to rebuild again for survival.
Back in the late 20th-centuryundefinedscientist would always look back at how an asteroid impact affected the dinosaurs and how it inevitably killed them off.undefined There were also other groups of scientists that weighed in on how these impacts changed the climate of the planet and whether or not there was a possibility that not only were the asteroids killers but also were bringers of new life through panspermia.
In the 21st century, the world governments are now funding research to prevent asteroids from hitting our planet.undefined What is ironic is that science for the longest time have criticized religious “chicken littles” and now after 100 years of listening to them have now analyzed the reality of celestial impact.
Much has been done in the last 20 years than at any other time in history. The apocalypse is now becoming a serious business.
The study of Near Earth Objects and the prevention of impact is an impressive move it is not the only scenario that can bring fire and brimstone to the earth.undefined Scientists have also paid attention to the very real danger of, environmental destruction and resource depletion and global pandemics.
While diseases like COVID -19 are making headlines, there are other diseases and plagues that sound biblical that are now being recognized by science as beyond normal.
undefined
Scientists have recently identified an enigmaticundefinedvirusundefinedwhose genome seems to be almost entirely new to science, populated by unfamiliar genes that have never before been documented in viral research.
The so-called Yaravirus, named after Yara or Iara, a water-queen figure in Brazilian mythology, was recovered from Lake Pampulha, an artificial lake in the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte.
Virologists Bernard La Scola from Aix-Marseille University in France, and Jônatas S. Abrahão from Brazilundefineds Federal University of Minas Gerais have drawn up a research paper on the new unearthly virus.
The team reports that the virus constitutes undefineda new lineage of an amoebal virus with a puzzling origin and phylogeny.
We now know viruses are much more complex than was once believed, and in recent years, scientists have uncovered other kinds of viral forms that similarly challenge our thinking about how viruses can spread and function.
However, finding an alien virus is coming more common than we realize.
While many of us have already resolved that extraterrestrial life exists somewhere in space one of the biggest challenges of science is providing agreed upon proof of whether extraterrestrial life exists. Science has dangled the cosmic carrot at us by indicating that they are exploring potentially habitable areas that might be available for complex life.
There has always been a preoccupation by scientists about whether or not the tail of a comet produces poisonous gasses that could kill things on earth. While most of these notions have been proven to be fraudulent, there has always been a concern that solar winds and perhaps the tail of the comet can leave behind space seeds that later mutate into emerging diseases.
One such disease is called Pandoravirus salinas and Pandoravirus dulcis. Back in July of 2013, it was reported that French scientists discovered a very large virus in sediment found off the coast of Chile and in a shallow freshwater pond near Melbourne, Australia
What is frightening about the discovery of this virus is that 93 percent of pandoravirus genes resemble nothing known on planet Erath, their origin cannot be traced back to any known cellular lineage. This leads some scientists to believe that the virus could be extra-terrestrial, brought to earth by way of asteroids and comets.
While other scientists are saying this is highly unlikely, last year was certainly a banner year for fireballs from space exploding over areas and spreading fragmented debris everywhere.
Many observers have pointed out that on October 14th, 2019 there was a massive fireball explosion over Northern China.undefined The meteor occurred at about 12:16 a.m. Beijing Time, turning night into day.
Many believed that the fireball was going to hit the ground and end the world.
If a fragment of a loosely held carbonaceous meteorite carrying a cargo of viruses/bacteria entered the mesosphere and stratosphere at high speed, its inner core which survived incandescence would have got dispersed in the stratosphere and troposphere. This would be a deadly form of panspermia.
This type of seeding of a plague from space is not out of the question. Throughout history sightings of comets or even bolide meteors have been known to be precursors of plagues.
When Apollo 12 retrieved parts of the Surveyor 3, which landed on the moon in April of 1967, bacteria was found in the probe. It had survived the launch and managed to stay alive on the airless surface of the moon. The bacteria were Streptococcus mitis. It is a bacterium that is normally found in the nose and throat.
The idea of diseases from space and comets has always been discussed but never really proven. However, the astronauts in the 1960s and 1970s were always forced into isolation in case they brought with them interstellar bugs from space. The space-age is 40 years old it has literally been closed down and yet there has always been an interest in harnessing the building blocks of life from Comets and Asteroids and with many failed experiments from NASA, we may not ever know if some of these space diseases have arrived.
Imagine that the idea of first contact would not be with intelligent extraterrestrials but with very clever extraterrestrial diseases brought to us special delivery from comets and asteroids. Our dreams of cute little ETs coming down and saving us maybe just that, a dream, the nightmare would be far too small to realize and a very real possibility that it could mean the end of the world.
It is also expedient to report that at this moment in time there are approximately 10 plagues that have been reported that are now ravaging the earth – coincidentally after a year of major Near Earth Object activity.
In a previous show, we spoke of the 360 billion locusts that have been swarming the earth. They have now reached the Chinese border. swarms have been so great that they blacken the sky and farms in Africa have been devoured in as little as 30 seconds.
Many are claiming that this attack seems like it is right out of the book of Exodus in the bible.
Could you imagine working extremely hard on a farm all year long and then seeing it completely consumed by locusts in less than a minute?
In the Book of the Apocalypse, the religious prophecies speak of a huge star falling from heaven called Wormwood. There are others such anomalies form the skies as well and one is the herald of the angel that opens the bottomless pit.
The pit opens to the very heart of the earth, from this pit, or Abyss, comes smoke like the smoke from a gigantic furnace, darkening the sun and sky, then from the smoke, comes locusts to devour the earth.

There have also been a number of other cataclysmic events that have happened all over the planet due to the weather. We are seeing great floods and landslides all over the planet.
Weeks of heavy rain have inundated a large portion of the southern U.S., bringing near-record flooding to portions of Mississippi and Tennessee.undefined
After a period of drought Australian was hit by a major storm as the equivalent of two months of rainfall fell in Sidney in just two days.
The earth has also seen a rise in volcanic activity and major earthquakes are now being recorded that are now above 7 on the Richter scale.
At the moment there are 4 major pathogens that the world is fighting not including Covid-19.
They are the African Swine Fever or undefinedPig Ebolaundefined, the H1N1 Swine Flu, the H5N1 Bird Flu, and the H5N8 Bird Flu.
Now we all know thatundefined Cataclysmic cycles have always plagued the planet -and believe it or not have coincided with celestial events that have been unbelievable
From 1347 to 1350, the Black Death ravaged Europe, reducing its population by somewhere between 30-60%. undefinedIt was one of the most lethal pandemics in history and as everyone knows, was caused by the bubonic plague.
However, there were some celestial activities that were happening just before the plague ravaged the planet.
If you check back into history, Comet Negra, passed by earth in 1347. Historians say that this comet was strange in as much as it rained down the dust that popped and lit up in the sky.
As the material descended from space, it fell on the northern Mediterranean Sea first, before branching outwards.
Through ground and sea-based collisions, these fragments injected dust as well as large amounts of carbon- and nitrogen-based chemicals into the stratosphere.undefined This poisoned the breathing air and the drinking water, much like the prophecy of Wormwood in the bible, the waters were bitter and there was a pestilence that came in form of fleas, flies, and locusts.
The impure water and air weakened human immune systems which some say contributed to the mass death.
Documents of the time speak of earthquakes, tidal waves, rains of fire, foul odors, purple skies, mists, even dragons. undefined
Historians generally dismiss these descriptions as colorful imagery or the ravings of religious fanatics.undefined
Documented histories from Europe and the Americas indicate that there was a global environmental downturn during the years of the Black Death. undefinedIce core data suggests that there were increased amounts of carbon dioxide and ammonia in the air, suggesting ocean turnover. undefinedAll of this points to a corruption in the atmosphere.
In these times we see the need for humanity to try and figure out why they are sitting ducks in an uncaring and chaotic cosmos. We realize how adrift we are on a huge space ship of water and mud and hope that it all has to be under the control of something intelligent out there.
We secretly hope that whatever or whoever is piloting this planet will save us from this cosmic tempest that we are moving through. If there is no one out there to save them, then there has to be a “scapegoat” for the tribulations that face the planet when everything cosmic seems to be out of control. The government will make it all one big political opportunity to tell you that they can save the planet, but it is the people that must face the brunt of the sacrifice.
Global events such as these are exciting to view from a distance; however, believing that you are not in any way going to experience any of the repercussions from these events is a premature and illogical notion.
The events affect a planet in many ways; it affects humanity in various ways.
We see psychological effects, physical effects, and financial losses happen within just moments of an initial catastrophe.
We must understand that when people talk about the end of the world what they are unwittingly saying is that there will be an end to humanity, a wiping of part or all of civilization.undefined The world will remain as it has for billions of years.
That is why it is peculiar that there are many people that will reject the Protestant warnings of the apocalypse, and scientific warnings and warm up to a more political view of an apocalypse that deals in the potential for devastating Climate change.
It is important to realize that the politicians that are pushing a climate apocalypse are overstating matters. In the past, we know that politicians and self-described experts made concrete predictions that have been disproven – and yet undaunted there is a continuance of using an apocalyptic platform as a motivator to get votes and to invite other forms of government headed up by politicians who declare themselves external saviors.
But it is the same pitch that has been used for millennia – the same pitch that in the past convinced primitive man to sacrifice his children to bargain for the sun.
It is not a movement based in science – it is based on abnormal psychology that is very effective in motivating the groupthink.
Those who have made hyperbolic statements in the past should be more careful in their language going forward because as most sane scientists will tell you – the idea is to adapt to these changes and hang on for dear life, as things get older they tend to deteriorate.
They either die or they adapt and try to prolong the life they have.
