Last night was the season finale of the new History Channel series, Project Blue Book. I have invested my interest in the program which plays like a prequel of the X-Files Cold War series. The TV show is a work of fiction, but a lot of what they talk about is based on many well known and documented UFO sightings during the saucer craze of the 1950s.

The finale provided a looking glass where we could go back in time to 1950s where Harry Truman admitted that there were flying saucers and UFOs buzzed the Nation’s capital.

Over several weeks, up to a dozen unexplained objects repeatedly streaked across the skies over Washington, D.C. — they were spotted by radar operators, professional pilots, and other highly credible witnesses. The Air Force scrambled fighter jets, but the undefinedsaucersundefined outran them.

The incident didnundefinedt just get covered in big-city papers. In every corner of the country, local publications ran stories, many drawn from national wire services, often edited with different details to fit their space. Some added sidebars with local undefinedsaucerundefined news or tidbits like what Albert Einstein thought when asked about UFOs. One reporter got the bright idea to ask the Soviets if they were somehow behind it all.

There were photos of these bright orbs over the capital building, however, in the Project Blue Book TV show, they focused on the objects moving about near the Washington monument.

We later find out why there is such a focus on this massive obelisk in the final scenes where the show will leap into the mysteries of Antarctica and the possible connections to extraterrestrials and UFOs.

The final scene rang some synchronicity with me as I was asked to head up a panel on the mysteries of the Antarctic at Contact In The Desert with many well-known authors and filmmakers including Brad Olsen who recently returned from Antarctica.

Since the inauguration of President Barrack Obama in 2008, world leaders have shown an unusually keen interest in the continent of Antarctica. Both President Obama and his Vice President Joe Biden made trips there. US Secretary of State John Kerry also was along for a trip and other prominent world leaders such as the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, and the Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill. There was even a moment where Astronaut Buzz Aldrin arrived southern polar region but became sick and was flown away to a nearby hospital.

Before he left he allegedly snapped a picture of what looked like a pyramid shaped rock, perhaps the tip of an obelisk stating “We are all in danger. It is evil itself.”

No further comment was made about the statement and some internet sleuth’s claim he never made the statement and that the so-called pyramid was a natural formation.

In first two weeks of 2016, Kremlin media outlets reported that a Russian naval expedition had arrived in Antarctica as the country’s first Antarctic mission organized by the Ministry of Defense in three decades. Despite garnering little outside media attention, the expedition is suggestive of an important emerging trend in Moscow’s strategic vision with significant geopolitical risks — a steadily building interest in Antarctica for strategic and economic purposes.

While Russian interest on the global stage is quite characteristic of President Putin’s ambitious foreign policy, Moscow’s subtle yet strategically important policy shift towards Antarctica is of particular note given the context surrounding the relatively non-political attitudes about the southern polar region.

The remoteness and harsh environmental conditions of Antarctica have meant that any military or economic benefits that might be pursued regardless are quickly sidelined by concerns of feasibility and high buy-in costs.

While seven countries have maintained territorial claims to sections of Antarctica and, in turn, the potential strategic and economic benefits that it may have, Russia is not one of those countries.

At the same time, Moscow has consistently left the door open for its own Antarctic land grab by refuting the territorial claims of other nations and maintaining its right to spontaneously claim the entire continent at any point in the future. Now, in spite of existing barriers, Russia’s Antarctic policy has begun to suggest that it fully intends on taking advantage of that right over the long-term.

Indicators of this increasingly aggressive approach can be found in virtually every facet of Russia’s policy towards Antarctica and touch on nearly all the strategic and economic opportunities that the continent has to offer.

However, there has a been a mountain of speculation that there are other reasons why world leaders have an interest in the area and that is the possibility that alien life forms or life forms that can live in extreme conditions have been found there which would further the possibility that there is life on Jupiter’s Icy Moon Europa, or Saturn’s moon Enceladus.

There have also been other speculations of artifacts being found there that would also prove that some sort of ancient alien civilization has lived there or may live there now in underground tunnels.

After the expedition by the Russian Federation, a curious report went viral on the internet about an artifact called the Ark of Gabriel. The Ark was allegedly loaded on to a Russian vessel off if the Saudi Arabian Port of Jeddah.

Once again the name of Jeddah is similar to that of what is known as the Djed.

The Djed is the missing body part of Osiris the Egyptian God that was decimated upon his death, According to Egyptian Mythology Seth cut up the Body of Osiris into 14 pieces and scattered them about the earth. Isis his wife, continued her quest to revive her beloved, but could only reclaim thirteen of the fourteen body parts.

The missing body part was his penis or Djed. The symbolism of his missing phallus is shown all over Egypt and in places like Washington DC where the Djed or obelisk can be seen.

It is a symbol of power and is a representation of the missing part. The Djed is topped with a Pyramid stone.

Some say that the Djed is the backbone of Osiris the Dark Father. The secret sect of Osiris the Dark Father are the Djedi. If this sounds familiar it is because this information was used to create the Jedi knights in Star Wars and of course the Dark Father of the Jedi was Darth Vader.

The last hold of the Jedi Knights was a planet called Jeddah.

This is not by accident – the mythologies of the earth are often buried in Science fiction and that the fixation of the Obelisk or Djed in Project Blue Book’s final season shows us that an artifact like the Djed is buried in Antarctica.

It was later reported that after his first visit to Antartica, Patriarch Kirill of Russia was accompanied by representatives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Mecca, Saudi Arabia to Antarctica to use the so-called Ark of Gabriel along with an unnamed ancient artifact that allegedly had been buried and uncovered due to the melting of the ice in the region of the so-called pyramid.

The alleged pyramid may be the top of possible hidden obelisk that Buzz Aldrin warned us about.

On November 9th, 2016, U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, landed in Antarctica, just after the U.S. Presidential Election. It was said that he was there to observe thawing conditions brought on by Climate Change. Was it perhaps a mission to determine what was seen poking up from the ice after most of it was melting off?

The possible Djed Structure is very curious and adds to the speculation that there may have been an ancient civilization that lived in Antarctica thousands of years ago.

The object was originally spotted in an aerial photo from Google Earth: It appears to be a “pyramid” and is located not far from the United Kingdom’s “Princess Elisabeth Station.”

Since the controversy, it has been reported that four different pyramid structures have been detected in what is called the Ellsworth Range. The Ellsworth Range structures could be the work of ancient or alien civilizations, while others say that they are simply nunataks, which are protruding peaks of mountains buried beneath the ice that has been shaped by erosion.

However, the distinctly shaped sides of each face are what alternative theories see as evidence of the pyramids being man-made. An additional dome-shaped structure protruding from beneath the ice has raised further questions and perpetuated the belief of an ancient civilization buried beneath the ice.

Recently there was another anomalous image showing what appear to be several tanks and a downed unknown aircraft that have added to the prospect of government military action or secret bases on Antarctica.

During WWII there was evidence, some rumored and some confirmed, of Nazi military programs that established bases on the continent, supposedly researching extraterrestrial technology that had been left behind.

Conversely, during a naval expedition dubbed, Operation Highjump, Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd is purported to have been exposed to extraterrestrial technology.

Some interpret Byrd’s claim of seeing craft that “are able to fly from one pole to the other with incredible speed,” as a UFO sighting, whereas others interpret it as a warning of the possibility of an attack from planes subversively flying over the poles to reach their targets without detection. However, both of these interpretations seem to hint at Nazi activity on Antarctica.

It was reported on March 19th, 2012 that nine thousand Nazi war criminals fled to South America after the Second World War. The information was released after German prosecutors were recently granted access to secret files in Brazil and Chile that confirmed the true number of Third Reich immigrants.

Secret files have revealed that an estimated 9,000 Nazis, including Holocaust mastermind Adolf Eichmannand Auschwitz Doctor Josef Mengele fled to South America in the aftermath of the Second World War.

Most, perhaps as many as 5,000, went to Argentina; between 1,500 and 2,000 are thought to have made it to Brazil; around 500 to 1,000 to Chile; and the rest to Paraguay and Uruguay.

These numbers do not include several hundred more that fled to the Middle East. Previous estimates as to how many Nazis fled to South America have varied wildly from 5,000 to 300,000.

There are also the other rumors and so called myths about Nazis who fled further South. One theory is that Martin Bormann (Who was allegedly confirmed dead) and other top Nazis, in some cases Hitler himself escaped to South America and on to a secret base in Antarctica where they had top scientists continue to work on Wonder weapons which include flying saucers.

The technology, of course, was allegedly given to them through occult means. Some even say that the technology was actually discovered from a spaceship crash in Poland before the war began.

It was proposed that the Antarctic research vessel the flying Schwabenland transported equipment and other machinery, including railroad equipment, rail cars and huge cutters for drilling tunnels.

Thirty-five of the largest submarines were used to transport supplies. It is alleged that the base had facilities and cargo docs that could hold at least eight submarines at a time. By the end of the war, the Germans had nine research facilities at the base. Each facility was a science and research facility used to continue work on weapons, and flying discs.

There are others who have speculated that the Nazi’s knew of civilizations that were tied to ancient Egypt that may have settled in Antarctica and that they were searching for the Djed or what they termed the Chiffre. Chiffre, oddly enough is translated to mean Cipher or “unknown.”

Thomas Schneider a professor at the University of British Columbia discovered Hitler and the Nazis had a fascination with Egyptian histories and mythology.

Before Hitler’s rise to power Germany was a respected center of Egyptology. The foreign affairs ministry financed an archaeological institute in Cairo that was used as a base to conduct scientific research. The country’s scholars had made important contributions. To name a few examples, Adolf Erman helped unravel the grammar of Egyptian writing. Ludwig Borchardt uncovered the bust of Nefertiti and Heinrich Schäfer broke new ground in the understanding of Egyptian art.

Professor Schneider pointed out that, in this pre-Nazi era, many American Egyptologists received their training in Germany.

Many people know of the various archeological digs in Cairo by the Nazis because of the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark.

The question was whether or not the Germans were looking for the monolith or the Djed buried in Antarctica.

However, in 2018, it was announced that the interest Hitler had in Antarctica had nothing to do with artifacts but procuring whale oil.

In the summer of 1936, Hitler had completed a four-year plan to boost the German military and the domestic economy to be ready for war by 1940. He put Hermann Göring in charge, and then he developed a “German Fat Plan” to enable Germany to improve the efficiency of its domestic consumption of butter, milk, cream, lard, cheese, bacon, margarine, salad oils, detergents, candles, linoleum, and paints.

The idea was to find substitutes for these oil- and fat-based products in case imported sources were cut off.

At the time, whale oil was one of the main ingredients for margarine, and Germans ate a lot of margarine.

However, the butterfat story could be one of many reasons why Hitler had an interest in Antarctica.

Antarctica has inspired many people to write stories of mystery and horror.

In 1931, H.P. Lovecraft wrote “At the Mountains of Madness” A story that details the events of a disastrous expedition to the Antarctic continent in September 1930, and what was found there by a group of explorers. They find the ruins of the outer walls of a vast abandoned stone-city, alien to any human architecture showing engravings of the elder alien beings that are spoken of in the Necronomicon.

John W. Campbell wrote the book “Who Goes there in 1938” there has been a fascination with possible aliens holding up in caves somewhere in the Antarctic. The Book “Who Goes There” was later made into the 1951 film “The Thing from Another World.”

The story is about an Antarctic military outpost where a UFO is found buried in the ice and eventually the occupant is discovered and goes on a rampage killing those in the outpost.

The movies were made into a radio play and were later remade by John Carpenter where the alien is more of a shapeshifter.

I am sure that in the future, we will learn more about the icy continent below us. Until then scientists, geologists and even UFOlogists may find some meaning to the so-called cipher’s they find in the snow.
