Many hard-liner Christians and Muslims have now embraced an apocalyptic self-destruct philosophy because they feel that death is not the end and that their reward waits in heaven. They believe with every fiber of their being that they will receive a spiritual renewal in the next level of existence.
If you ever ask yourself why suicide bombers sacrifice themselves, why terrorists fly suicide missions into buildings, or why some soldiers sign up to go to war you may attribute it to the hardwired belief in destroying life for some programmed nobility.
The apocalyptic imagination is now at a fever pitch where the results are often fatal. People begin to wonder if they have no future while others seem to think that they will be saved by some miracle where they won’t have to taste death and will be taken up into heaven before the earth is destroyed in a deluge of fire.
All of what I am seeing lately is in my opinion a synchronistic reminder of what happened 25 years ago, when Comet Hale-Bopp was predicted to collide with earth, and a possible rock was caught in its tail.
When a massive UFO was seen over Phoenix in 1997 and a comet passing near the earth was seen, one man did pray and received inspiration that he along with his 38 followers should commit suicide in order to leave the earth and meet up with the brotherhood of the evolutionary level above human.
The Heavenundefineds Gate cult believed that a flying saucer was traveling behind the Hale-Bopp comet. They chose to leave their physical bodies or what they called “vehicles” behind along with and apocalyptic message that the earth was about to be recycled and that it was time to leave the planet before its utter destruction.
There are many people who probably do not remember this group, but I believe they should remember them and also what can happen when a group of individuals have a belief system so sure that they are willing to die for it. It is an example of faith to the extreme, religious zeal that is so sure that death no longer is feared and the idea of a modernized extra-terrestrial religion is not so farfetched in an era of apocalyptic signs and wonders.
Cults usually grow in a climate of political, economic or ecological instabilities in which the existing social order has been compromised. A cult is a spiritual, psychological or political institution which is hyper-critical of the existing spiritual, psychological and political institutions and wishes to overthrow them while often aspiring to create “heaven on earth”. Because cults are usually new and have not had years to socialize people the way organized religions have, they have to work quickly and use extreme measures to draw and hold people. Because a religious leader of a particular denomination is part of a large bureaucracy, that leader can be relatively dull while maintaining the following of his parishioners. But a cult cannot afford that.
Cults usually have at their head a charismatic leader with a grand philosophy who gives dramatic right and wrong answers to complex but deteriorating social situations. The leaders usually have lieutenants, ideologically committed members who have very good social psychological skills to keep the membership in line. Cults lack a democratic structure, and the membership is kept passive and happy during the initial stages while being slowly terrified as membership continues into the later stages of the cult.
I realize that we are back to the same type of cultural climate where people are actually thinking that the only way out is death and that science in all of its so called infinite wisdom has canceled the idea of prayers and faith undefined and replaced it with a scientism cult that is no different than what Marshall Applewhite created with Heavens gate.
One of the hallmarks of totalitarianism is mass conformity to a psychotic official narrative. Not a regular official narrative, like the “Cold War” or the “War on Terror” narratives. A totally delusional official narrative that has little or no connection to reality and that is contradicted by a preponderance of facts.
Nazism and Stalinism are the classic examples, but the phenomenon is better observed in cults and other sub-cultural societal groups. Numerous examples will spring to mind: the Manson family, Jim Jones’ People’s Temple, the Church of Scientology, and of course Heavens Gate, each with its own psychotic official narrative: Helter Skelter, Christian Communism, Xenu and the Galactic Confederacy, The Evolutionary level above human and so on.
All cults seem to have their charismatic leaders, whether they be scientists, doctors, religious figures, billionaires of politicians.
We all know that there have been warned and been given edicts by several different cult-like figures that we really know nothing about undefined only that they are anointed elitists that are good at telling you what is best for you-and of course people with no alternative thought cave and hang on their every word.
Cult leaders are good at psychological maneuvering and do this almost as second nature, and maybe even unconsciously. The leader divides the world into suckers, sinners, democrats republicans, conservative liberal, black, white, science, anti-science and himself. He is very perceptive and good at sizing people up. Cult leaders have an innate ability to attract followers who have the skills and contacts that the leaders lack.
He enjoys tremendous feelings of entitlement. He must always be the center of attention and cannot tolerate yielding the spotlight.
People like Dr. Fauci have said that he is science and if anyone questions him then they are anti science.
Now that he has done is job - he as disappeared and if there is any liability for his actions he certainly will not be held accountable.
As the authorities went about the sad task of notifying and talking with relatives of the members of the Heaven’s Gate UFO sect back in 1997, a farewell videotape made by the group that considered themselves an undefinedaway teamundefined suggested that they had gone to their deaths quite happily and to the horror of the rest of the world willingly.

You see, they were going willingly into death with the idea that the next level was a better place. It was quite comical at the time to see how the rest of the Christian World was highly critical of the cult, saying that the group was misguided and that their beliefs were undefinedalienundefined to the true plan of God.
I was waiting for someone to point out that the idea of a rapture and the slew of events predicted before the second coming are just as bad if not worse psychological warfare to convince people to hit the kill switch because a better world awaits them.
The actions of the militant faction of any science trusting, politically charged, racial equality, fanatical LGBTQ, Qanon conspiracy sect are no different than Heaven’s Gate or the Militant Muslim fanatics that believe in the same nebulous rewards for canceling, and destroying the world.
Their vision is the same vision that was shared by Charles Manson, Jim Jones, David Koresh, and Marshall Applewhite.
The militant religious mind that creates another that can be conquered with a reward can also create with it a malignant synergy, and fuel the alien belief that torture, abuse, burning down cities, looting, rape and death are committed out of love and are fundamental for establishing a landing pad for the arrival of someone or something to deliver them from their trials.
There are many people who wish to nudge God into the eschaton, they are running the same programs as the Heaven’s gate cult and will resort to developing a suicide pact that will be played as a similar sacrifice-the cottage industry of victimhood can go south right quick with a dynamic that can be seen as cult like.
You may think that it is all crazy and that is my point. It is situation normal in the apocalypse, and apocalyptic thinking creates a confusing thought form.
Our leaders believe that the only way to escape their paranoid delusion is to make a first strike. Those who are gripped by the paranoid trickle either strike out at others, or end up destroying themselves for what seems to be a messianic mission.
There are fanatics everywhere that pivot from one fad cult to another because they lack a sense of belonging- they have missed their ability to connect and COVID-19 helped in creating this environment.
Everything in their social “reality” reifies and reaffirms the narrative, and anything that challenges or contradicts it is perceived as an existential threat.
These narratives are invariably paranoid, portraying the various cult groups as the sane ones and all others need to be either educated or coerced into following their strange ideas and cult like behaviors.
They take on the paranoid delusion that they are persecuted by an evil enemy or antagonistic force which only unquestioning conformity to the cult’s ideology can save its members from.
The point is not the identity of the enemy. The point is the atmosphere of paranoia and hysteria the official narrative generates, which keeps the cult members (or the society) compliant.
In addition to being paranoid, these narratives are often internally inconsistent, illogical, and … well, just completely ridiculous. This does not weaken them, as one might suspect. Actually, it increases their power, as it forces their adherents to attempt to reconcile their inconsistency and irrationality, and in many cases utter absurdity, in order to remain in good standing with the cult.
Have you noticed that even with the lifting of mask mandates and vaccination requirements there are still cult members that are afraid to remove their mask for fear of being ostracized by their fellow cultists?
They are still the ones on the sidelines talking about variant scares and spike in cases so that they can feel safe again and in control because others are being told to do the same undefined again it is similar to shaving your head and wearing a purple shroud with a bag over your head waiting to be delivered or saved.
They are Shell-shocked cult members that have lost their sense of how to manage everyday life.

Does it surprise anyone that just prior to the suicides of the Heaven’s gate UFO cult that lights were seen hovering over Phoenix Arizona? People gaze into the sky and they see ships. They are psychologically affected. They are reminded that men of flesh and blood may not control the earth. They are reminded of something catastrophic that has been wired into the subconscious. This cataclysm happened after the appearance of anomalies in the skies. This phenomenon has been written about before by William Bramley in his book, undefinedThe Gods of Eden.undefined
He theorized that the basic cause of war, genocide and conflict in history is not viciousness innate in the human species but rather is the less-than-benevolent interference in human affairs by extraterrestrials. Bramley wrote that the aliens regard humans as their property and the Earth is an exploitable resource.
He contends that our bloodthirsty nature has been programmed into us by these aliens to help keep us enslaved and to keep us from evolving to our full capacity. In spite of all we have accomplished for our benefit, Bramley suggests that human conflict; suffering, wars and presidential assassinations are connected to some alien intervention. Major UFO events and what can be considered to be paranormal events have preceded many devastating tragedies in world history.
In 1997, the United States Government was so troubled by the philosophy of the Heaven’s Gate cult that they went to great length to squelch the story and not give it much airtime. In a Newsweek editorial it was ironic that while many Christians were struggling with the message and the fear of the end of the worlds that Geoffrey Cowley wrote an editorial that had to point to the “wisdom” of an atheist namely Richard Dawkins that spoke of sacrifice for religious reasons is pointless and a viral mechanism that is a best kept secret of the religious.
Cowley wrote “as the Heavenundefineds Gate tragedy reminds us, hosts who swallow both the heaven-is-ours and the end-is-near memes may conclude the end is theirs to hasten - and hasten it. But a virus that kills its host doesnundefinedt always kill itself. “
It is interesting that a quotes such as this is wasted for deaths of what was called a crazy cult, when the reality now is that politicians that remind us that “the world is ours” and “the other hates us and wants our defeat” memes may conclude that a strike on another country is there’s to hasten World War and that a scapegoat or other can be killed very easily, and many will die trying to kill them, but the leader or leaders that order it will not and never go into battle and put themselves at the same risk that they put their followers in.
They merely command that you drink their Kool-aid or join their Away Team.
Because the same techniques that most cult leaders use to control the minds of the members of their cults are used by totalitarian systems to control the minds of entire societies: Social Engineering, Loaded Language, Sacred Science, Demand for Purity, and other standard mind-control techniques.
It can happen to pretty much any society, just as anyone can fall prey to a cult, given the right set of circumstances.
It is happening to most of our societies right now. An official narrative is being implemented. A totalitarian official narrative. A totally psychotic official narrative, no less delusional than that of the Nazis, or the Manson family, even Heaven’s gate. .
Most people cannot see that it is happening, for the simple reason that it is happening to them. They are literally unable to recognize it. The human mind is extremely resilient and inventive when it is pushed past its limits.
When reality falls apart completely, the mind will create a delusional narrative, which appears just as “real” as our normal reality, because even a delusion is better than the stark raving terror of utter chaos.
This is what totalitarians and cult leaders count on, and exploit to implant their narratives in our minds, and why actual initiation rituals (as opposed to purely symbolic rituals) begin by attacking the subject’s mind with terror, pain, physical exhaustion, whish obliterates the subject’s perception of reality.
Once that is achieved, and the subject’s mind starts desperately trying to construct a new narrative to make sense out of the cognitive chaos and psychological trauma it is undergoing, it is relatively easy to “guide” that process and implant whatever narrative you want, assuming you have done your homework.
And this is why so many people — people who are able to easily recognize totalitarianism in cults in their daily lives — cannot perceive the totalitarianism that is taking shape now, right in front of their faces or, rather, right inside their minds.
Nor can they perceive the delusional nature of the official “Covid-19” narrative, or the climate crisis narrative or even the Ukrainian war narrative no more than those in Nazi Germany were able to perceive how completely delusional their official “master race” narrative was or this in the heaven’s gate cult that took the sedatives and wears the Nikes to go to the evolutionary level above human. Such people are neither ignorant nor stupid. They have been successfully initiated into a cult, which is essentially what totalitarianism is, albeit on a societal scale.
In what appears to be a godless world, it is hard to avoid an ominous dark future and harder still is the ability to fight it. We have also discovered our cult leader and his messianic stewardship. However, he is no messiah, and our image parameters are now saying to us that perhaps he is the devil waiting to unleash what is behind the gates of hell.
The truth is that we have limits to our ability to always fight a war and die for some empty and hollow cause. If we strive to rush to our own destruction for some absurd preconceived fear of some orchestrated monster, then we are no different than cultists who drink the Kool-aid or suit up in purple shrouds and tennis shoes to meet their alien maker.
