5/25/23: IN THE SLIP OF TIME W/ JASON QUITT

Posted on May 25th, 2023 by Clyde Lewis

Much has been postulated within science fiction and pop culture about the dynamics of time travel and the Mandella Effect. Lately, there seems to be an increase in first-person accounts of that uncanny feeling of suddenly having slipped out of the present time and into the past or perhaps a parallel universe.  Many of us have come to feel there are multiple realities and we may be stuck in the wrong one. Do some people have the ability to go in and out of dimensions or experience undefinedtime slipsundefined? Tonight on Ground Zero, Clyde Lewis talks with time travel experiencer, Jason Quitt about IN THE SLIP OF TIME.

SHOW TRANSCRIPT:

It was sad to hear of the passing of Tina Turner. She was most definitely an Icon, a momentous talent, and was even in a Madmax film undefined so she counts as a science fiction icon.

However, I was getting an onslaught of e-mails telling me that they thought she had already been dead. That there was a tribute documentary and everything talking about her life using her real name Anna Mae Bullock.

I always get distracted by the Mandela Effect because I always wonder why group recall sometimes fails us and again it brings up the possibility that we have somehow faded into some parallel universe where many people remembered the death of Tina Turner.

I remember the tributes too undefined I was under the impression that perhaps she was dead or dying undefined but not really thinking that she had already passed away.

Well to be honest she has had many tributes and documentaries. Last year she had one on HBO undefined maybe these tributes gave the impression that she was already gone.

That isnundefinedt the weird part undefined after I read about the Turnerundefineds death and the Mandela Effect like remembrance of her passing years ago, there was a story that I wanted to share with you.

Right smack dab in the middle of my reading undefined there was a story that caught my eye about time slips, temporal dislocation, and dimensional travelers. Of course, I am certain the algorithm steered me to this story after nerding out on Mandela theories.undefinedundefined

A story called the Taured Mystery or The Man From Taured story had my undivided attention.

The Man from Taured, sometimes referred to as the Taured Mystery or the Man without a Country, is an intriguing story about a man who arrives at a Japanese airport from an unheard of country called Taured. Some have explained the story as proof of time travel , while others have spoken of a parallel universe.

The story of the man from Taured begins quite specifically in many sources with a hot day in July 1954. On that particular day, a man was said to have arrived at Haneda Airport, known also as Tokyo International Airport. This man has been described as Caucasian and had a beard.

While his primary language is said to have been French, accounts claim that he spoke Japanese and many other languages as well.

When the man handed over his passport to be stamped the Japanese immigration officer noticed something strange.

While the passport looked authentic, the country where it was issued, Taured, was recognized as non-existent by both the officer and his colleagues. The man from Taured was therefore taken away for interrogation.

The man was trying to convince the immigration officers that Taured does indeed exist. According to the traveler, Taured was located between France and Spain, and had by then been in existence for 1,000 years.

When shown a map, the man from Taured pointed to the area occupied by the Principality of Andorra, and was puzzled as to why his country had been given a different name on the map. Both sides refused to give in; the Japanese officers insisted that Taured did not exist, and the traveler argued otherwise.

Eventually, the man was held by the officers, as they were suspicious that he might be some kind of criminal. While they conducted their investigation, they put him up at a nearby hotel for the night.

To ensure that the man did not escape, two guards were placed outside his room. The next morning, however, when the officers went to the man’s room, they realized that he had vanished. There was no sign of how he had made his escape and all of his personal documents, which could have served as evidence for the story’s validity, had apparently disappeared as well.

One of the most notable explanations for this incident is that the man from Taured had somehow passed through a parallel dimension by accident, ending up at Haneda Airport in Tokyo. Following this line of logic, the hypothesis is that there is a parallel Earth, similar to our own, with the exception that the location known as Andorra here is known as Taured over there. Another proposal is that the man was a time traveler from the future, though this interpretation is arguably more problematic than the one supposing inter-dimensional travel.

While it is entirely possible that the story of the man from Taured was a figment of someone’s imagination which eventually became an urban legend , it has also been suggested that a similar incident did indeed occur.

This story was about a man named John Allen Kuchar Zegrus who was arrested and prosecuted in Tokyo after having presented a fake passport to enter Japan in 1959.

This forged passport stated it had been issued in Tamanrosset, supposedly the capital of the State of Tuarid, and was written in an unknown language. While Tamanrosset is actually the name of real life province and city in modern-day Algeria, the Tuareg People are actually a group that live in the saharah.

John Allen Kuchar Zegrus had managed to invent a country, its capital, its language and even created a fake passport. He then used it to travel throughout the Middle East, before being caught lying by the efficient Japanese. In the end Zegrus was sentenced to a year in prison, but this was due mostly to the forged cheques he had cashed in Japan.

However, his fate is unknown undefined it was said that he disappeared from his cell while others say that he was able to somehow slit his wrists and bled to death in his cell.

Zegrus apparently did not have a beard but was certainly a dead ringer for DB Cooper, however, Cooper would not even be in the headlines until 1973.

Was he a time traveler or did he fall into a dimensional slip undefined baffling airlines as he jumps in and out of dimensions?

There seems to be an increase in first-person accounts of that uncanny feeling of suddenly having slipped out of the present time and into the past- or perhaps a parallel universe.

It seems many of us have come to feel there are multiple realities and we’re stuck in the wrong one.

“Everything Everywhere All at Once,” a film about the idea that there are multiple universes, each containing a different version of you, swept the Oscars and struck a chord. Apparently, many of us have this sense that, we may be living multiple lives and by some quantum superposition we slip in and out of dimensions.

Some even say that have done it at will during their sleep cycles.

In June of 2006, there was a meeting of scientists who were part of the American Association for the Advancement of Science that wanted to specifically discuss the physics of time and retro causation.

A peer reviewed paper by Daryl J. Bem from Cornell University called Feeling the Future: Experimental Evidence for Anomalous Retroactive Influences on Cognition and Affect was discussed.

Here is an example of a quote from of the paper:

undefinedA central starting point for such discussions is the consensus that the fundamental laws of both classical and quantum physics are time-symmetric. In particular, they formally and equally admit time-forward and time-reversed solutions. Thus, though we began simply desiring to predict the future from the present, we find that the best models do not require in fact, do not respect this asymmetry.

It seems untenable to assert that time reverse causation retro causation cannot occur, even though it temporarily runs counter to the macroscopic arrow of time.undefined

Time slips can indicate a point of retrocausality where events in the future can create dimensional slippage in the present.

There are stories about people who have taken a wrong turn somewhere and have gotten lost – some have taken the wrong turn into a time vortex. This allegedly happened near the ghost town of Modena located in Gadianton Canyon Utah in 1972.

Four girls came from a rodeo in Pioche, Nevada back to their dorm in Cedar City, which is part of Southern Utah University. They came through Highway 56 at about 10 p.m. The region is known to be haunted by phantoms that do not resemble anything of this earth.

There are weird tales of demonic-looking beings that appear to be like animals. They have been mostly described as “lion people” or wolves. Some say that they may be Native American shamans that disguise themselves and change their surroundings in order to harass anyone in the area.

While driving, the black asphalt with the white center line instantly turned into bright cement.

While trying to figure out what happened, the scenery suddenly changed. The original red canyon walls were opening up to an entirely new environment. “Instead of moonlit desert, they saw grainfields on the right and Ponderosa Pine, on the left.” which are said to not be common in that area of the state.

The girls then drove to a parking lot at a tavern on the side of the road. One of the girls wanted to ask for help and another was curious if any of the men were “cute.”

A few men came out of the building. But as soon as they came out, the girl screamed and told the girl driving to floor it and get out as fast as she could.

Soon, the girls found themselves being chased by “tri-wheeled, egg-shaped vehicles.”

It turns out that the girl screamed because she claimed what she saw was in fact not even human. The story has evolved over the years, however, when I heard about it when I was much younger, I was told that the men looked like Beasts or wolfmen wearing clothing.

If these girls somehow got lost in a dimensional rift then perhaps the idea of seeing “beastly beings” may be an indication of how evolution might have been in that parallel universe. That is if you believe in such things.

As a species, we’ve long been haunted by spirit realms and ghostly domains. Plato conceived of an intangible world of forms more real than anything we can touch. Plutarch reported that Alexander wept when he heard the possibility of an infinite number of worlds, having not conquered all of this one.

C.S. Lewis was an early multiverse explorer with his Narnia books, in which siblings grow to adulthood as kings and queens on the other side of their magical wardrobe in a world that exists parallel to our own. He was also paying quite a bit of attention at the time to a new branch of science known as quantum physics. In 1957, a year after Lewis published his last Narnia book, a Princeton doctoral student, Hugh Everett III, published a dissertation bringing the ancient idea of the simultaneous existence of several worlds into the realm of modern science.

Mr. Everett was trying to solve a seeming paradox in quantum theory: Certain elementary particles (say, a photon) seemed to exist mathematically in many places at once but could be detected at only one location at a time.

Perhaps, Mr. Everett suggested, the act of detecting the particle splinters reality; perhaps the observer, and indeed the universe, splits into different possible timelines, one for each possible location of the particle. This would become known as the many-worlds interpretation.

Dr. Bem, a social psychologist at Cornell University, conducted a series of experiments that are published in one of the most prestigious psychology journals (Journal of Personality and Social Psychology).

Across nine experiments, Bem examined the idea that our brain has the ability to not only reflect on past experiences but also anticipate future experiences. This ability for the brain to “see into the future” is often referred to as, the PSI phenomenon.

He used well-established, standard scientific methods to study this phenomenon and found that we are all equipped with the ability to see into the future. It seems some of us have just developed this ability, either with practice or through the gift of birth, to a more advanced degree.

The future is usually uncertain and it is what we make of it, but not in the minds of those who lash out and create riotous upheavals. These young minds have been told what to believe, they have to plant in them an idea of a possible bleak future that has not even happened but they act as if it is happening now.

They are not only being told what to believe but how to believe. They fight for what they are told to fight for. They are tilting at windmills and destroying everything representing their imaginary enemy.

This enemy appears to have been planted in their minds through neuro-programming and neuro-linguistic manipulation. This causes repeating irrational thoughts that have been magnified by well-rationalized selective ignorance.

The future is what they make of it, but now, there is a disconnect.

In a Fortean sense, there is a hairline of difference between reality and fantasy. In that realm, we realize that “belief” is a word where the word lie his hidden between the lines and that the truth is stranger than fiction and that most of what we believe changes like the days fashion, whether it be the latest hat or dance craze.

Time slip and Mandela Effect theories could not only be the result of a magnetic or quantum dimensional flip undefined but a reality breakdown that happens when these anomalous things happen.

The reality breakdown is occurring as we speak now. It is getting a rewrite and everything we think we know, that we question and satisfy with opinion is being changed and repackaged.

All the things we see and perceive are electric stimulus and light that transmits information we can pay attention to, and then of course, there are those details that we don’t.

This is where I have spoken before about a temporal blind spot where events happen or we perceive they do and then later we are schooled on the idea that everything we have perceived is wrong, that what we think we know is not exactly what is and that somehow we reach a point where we are satisfied with our opinion and even then all that it is based on is once again nebulous stimuli which we agree to.

The process of selective perception is necessary because if we did not do this we would be transfixed by the hyper reality and sensory overload. Today, our brains are being filled with all sorts of sensory overload. Think about it; we have simple perceptions of life, light, love, survival, spirituality, God, etc. Then we are exposed to media, print, Television, internet, video games, telephony, and many other things that is pushing the brain further and all of that stimulus is placed in a limited area known as the brain.

We do not know if the brain is limitless and we have learned that in old age we begin to lose memory and our perception of time.

If our model for perceiving our environment and time is limited or if we happen to perceive something while in crisis or after a traumatic experience, we run the obvious risk of missing important information that may be crucial for our well-being and survival; or conversely of hallucinating imaginary information that may be misleading or hurtful.

The idea of dimensional transmission becomes a compelling theory now doesn’t it? It can be used to begin a breakdown of what you perceive reality to be.

The question is, is this idea generate enough thought in order to change your world view or are you still stubborn and want to believe a lie that is a product of social engineering?

The powers that be are well aware of what it means to shape worldview – the only weapon we have is our quantum intuition.

This intuition can blow the mind as the thought of a heterogenous or Exogenous multiverse is being propposed to explain temporal displacement.

In his final paper, A Smooth Exit from Eternal Inflation? Stephen Hawking and his co-writer, Thomas Hertog, formulated strict limits to the kind of universes that populate the multiverse.

It seems to be saying that the multiverse has been fine-tuned to be uniform according to the laws of physics meaning that there is a grand order to the multiverse.

The problem is that the less variety there is among the universes, the less capable the multiverse hypothesis is of explaining fine-tuning. If there is a huge amount of variation in the laws across the multiverse, it is not so surprising that one of the universes would happen to have fine-tuned laws. But if all of the universes have exactly the same laws – as in Hawking and Hertog’s proposal – the problem returns, as we now need an explanation of why the single set of laws that govern the entire multiverse is fine-tuned.

Hertog seems not to agree, arguing that the paper does make progress on fine-tuning as he states: “This paper takes one step towards explaining that mysterious fine-tuning. It reduces the multiverse down to a more manageable set of universes which all look alike.”

Stepping into a limited number of dimensions that appear alike, may take a longer moment to indicate if they are from the past present or future- or if they are simultaneously happening all at once.

This is where we get the title “Everything Everywhere All at Once.undefined

If you can overcome the idea that all that I am talking about, and the ideas of Stephen Hawking and others are some sort of cosmic blasphemy then perhaps these ideas could spur profound soul-searching for people who have made it in the slip of time.
