The media has decided that in order to change a narrative not congruent to their liking, they have to poison the information we receive. Moreover, if mainstream news networks continue to say that much of the news we are getting from alternative sources are fake, it diminishes the credibility of the entire system of a free and objective press. WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, who is being extradited by the U. S. Government for publishing “classified” information is a prime example of a journalist exposing crimes of the political class but they cover it up by charging him for treasonous acts. Tonight on Ground Zero, Clyde Lewis talks with radio host and political commentator, Jack Blood about THE PRESSTITUTE’S MEN.

The duo of Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein have become synonymous with reporting the comings and goings of the Watergate scandal. The first report featuring the now legendary journalists came 50 years ago on June 19, 1972, two days after the break-ins and arrest of the conspirators. A day prior, another Washington Post journalist got the first swing at what would become the story of the decade.

Alfred E. Lewis, a veteran police reporter for the newspaper, wrote the first story of the break-ins at the Watergate Hotel a day before the first Woodward and Bernstein article. He was also integral in finding vital evidence and information at the scene of the crime.

Editors at the WaPo said that Lewis’ early reporting and evidence findings are what convinced them that the story was greater than a simple break-in. Bob Woodward said that Lewis “laid the foundation for what the paper was able to do in reporting the story.” Lewis was with the Post from 1935 until his retirement in 1985. He was affectionately known as “Uncle Al” and had many sources in police departments.

Lewis was actually a top reporter who gathered information from police sources and developed theories and on good hunches was able to expose the underbelly of corruption.

Lewis’s got his stories and exploits form a panorama of social, political and sometimes odd occurrences.

When he began, many of those on the wrong side of the law were still regarded with wry disapproval as mere scoundrels or rascals; he watched social pathology decay into an age of heavy firepower, widespread drug use and urban despair.

It can be said that with good conspiracy theory and critical thinking Lewis was able to dig like a bulldog and help out Woodward and Bernstein get the sccop and put them in the history books as the journalist that brought down the Nixon administration.

I often saw Lewis as one of the original parapolitical reporters who cut his teeth on the same type of stories — only that sometimes I have too much fun dabbling in occult and paranormal subjects but this is how you tell a story and it isn’t always easy especially when you have to come up with original material everyday that is credible no matter how crazy it may sound — I have been inspired by Uncle Al and how he wasn’t there to make friends — he was there to phone in the details, and fill in the blanks to give other reporters the edge.

I was watching a CNN documentary about the Watergate scandal and I had this urge to watch both all The Presidents Men — with Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman -and a rather long and boring movie called The Post.

The Post is a political thriller set in 1971, when the Washington Post published the Pentagon Papers. The documents were the Defense department’s history of the USA’s political-military involvement in Vietnam between 1945 and 1967.

I know full well that the timing of the  Watergate anniversary and he show Trial of the January 6th riots were not an accident because it appears that many lines like “No president is above the law” are used and comparisons to Donald Trump and Nixon are being used liberally.

The comparison between Nixon’s attitude and Trump’s attitude towards the media are valid—but with the caveat that the Washington Times had documents and sources that provided proof of the scandal that Nixon was in and that it was a mere stepping stone to what happened eventually with the Watergate conspiracy and cover up.

The press in the 1970’s was certainly dealing  with more issues than just a bellicose President that expressed his anger to the press only to appear with British talk show host David Frost, falling apart during an interview and saying that “he was above the law.”

We have very serious issues now with the news we get form the corporate media conglomerates.

After Donald Trump was elected President of the United States, various members of the mainstream media saw him as a cancer to this country.  One particular treatment for cancer is chemotherapy – basically, the idea is if you poison the body you kill the cancer.

The media has decided that in order to bring down a president they don’t like—they had to poison the information we receive.

This is why so called conspiracy theorists are seen as belligerent combatants and agents of disinformation.

If the mainstream media continues to say that that much of the news that we are getting from alternative  sources is fake, it poisons the credibility of the entire system of a free and objective press.

The mainstream media despises independent media and so they believe that drawing attention to fake news will kill it and the system recovers.

So far what they see as a cancer has not died—their form of chemotherapy did not work  and the effects on the body politic were quite possibly what triggered January 6th in the first place.

Now they continue to fight an imaginary phantom by declaring that our former President acted like a Mob Boss when he was in office… the more they can get a reaction from the court of public opinion the more they can own the history of what really happened.

This is their attempt at the Big Lie.

Alternative views be damned — journalist who speak out against the system get arrested, or even erased from the pop culture.

This journalistic chemotherapy has many guises and many of them were employed during Hitler’s Germany, and here in the United States after the Cold war was in full swing.

Hitler would hire agents and propagandists to “dope up the excitement” about his twisted ideas.

It was also a tactic where the media would use artificial incitement to rally people against his enemies. It was a programmed artificial incitement of emotion that culminated, inevitably, in mass hatred and fear of the “other,” whether it existed politically in domestic affairs or in foreign affairs.

It is this doping of excitement that leads to everyone believing that there is proof of wrong doing from Russiagate to the phone call to Ukraine. The impeachment hearings were also included, the election and now the January 6th hearings,

These legislators that want the limelight if they had the opportunity would want blood too.

it is like a scab that they cannot stop picking at.

It is the doping of excitement and the incitement of emotion that creates protests and uprisings

This seems to be brewing as they warn that conspirators are again plotting their next move.

George Orwell once said, “political language… is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind”. The official rhetoric and the corporate media discourse now veils the crimes of the powerful and maintains the appearance of legitimacy. When the scale weighs one side over the other with obvious bias time and again, this skews the court of public opinion and the broken scale of justice is normalized.

In this system, those who challenge the broken scales are punished and eventually society as a whole loses its sense of reality. Secret reinterpretation and subversion of laws and media spin have become global trends.

Established media has become a blatant mouthpiece for power with monopolized airwaves and manipulation of content. Now people are stepping up to crowd-source information through social media and have begun to counter the drastically tilted scale so weighted toward entrenched power,

Rebalancing the scale of justice depends on each person developing a sense for what is right and also what is true. History has shown how, once the scale of justice is broken by vested interests, it leads society toward despotism. We have seen this in Stalinism, Naziism and all varieties of dictatorships,

When a dirty war against the people is in the making those who speak Truth to Power are usually out up against the wall.  Judges and journalists are the first to be killed or jailed as a fascist matrix is being constructed with a passive soft coup.

Which leads me to the recent story about Julian Assange.

He will be extradited to the United States and could face 175 years in prison for being a guerilla journalist.

The decision  extradite the WikiLeaks founder to the US ought to worry anyone who cares about journalism and democracy.

Assange, has been charged under the US Espionage Act, including publishing classified material. This action potentially opens the door for journalists anywhere in the world to be extradited to the US for exposing information deemed classified by Washington.

The case against  Assange relates to hundreds of thousands of leaked documents about the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, as well as diplomatic cables, which were made public by WikiLeaks.

While the status of Assange has long been hotly debated, his actions in publishing classified information on WikiLeaks is a common component of journalism. Indeed, the most celebrated cases in history, such as the failed attempts to stop the release of the Pentagon Papers in 1971and the Watergate expose in 1972.

Assange’s supporters note that his publications revealed alleged war crimes in places like Afghanistan and Iraq that were unlikely to have been exposed otherwise. If it was a crime for Assange to receive and publish such information, then journalism in the US will become a criminal enterprise.

It will be a criminal act to give the people the right to know, no matter how politically uncomfortable it is.

The charges against Assange were brought under the controversial Espionage Act of 1917. Passed after World War One, it was used to target anti-war activists and political dissidents.

Counts nine through 17 against Assange concern the publications of “national defense information.” The justice department takes pains to try to argue that Assange is not a journalist and that the publication counts concern the disclosure of not just classified information but the actual names of intelligence sources. That, however, may establish that Assange is a poor journalist, but a journalist all the same.

If successful, the Justice Department would have not only the ability to prosecute but to investigate a wide array of journalists.

The United States Constitution guarantees a free press, however, it is trying to establish that any journalist can be prosecuted for receiving or publishing classified information. Since the government routinely over-classifies a wide array of information, it would leave every journalist at constant risk of surveillance and prosecution.

Before anyone starts with the traitor Communist attack conspiracy nonsense against Assange, just understand this – Julian Assange has exposed the crimes of our political class.

The leaks that have been laid out show us that the establishment doesn’t want change.

They don’t care about government waste, and they don’t care that we have a government that wishes to circumvent to constitution and destroy sovereignty.

As Biden has said all of these reports of reckless spending are lies and that we are in the process of changing people’s lives.

But is it for the better? And isn’t it convenient that the extradition of Assange comes after many people know that the Clinton e-mail  scandals were once again attributed to the work of Assange and Wikileaks.

Back in 2010 Assange suggested Clinton should resign after his organization leaked diplomatic cables that showed her sanctioning spying on foreign diplomats.

Assange wasn’t the only one to call for Clinton to step down in the wake of “Cablegate,” some respected American journalists did as well, but his assertion that at WikiLeaks “we don’t have targets” made in the same interview where he called for her resignation just doesn’t hold up. Clinton has been a repeated target of both WikiLeaks and Assange himself.

It can be argued that the exposure of the corruption of the Clintons changed the course of the 2016 election in favor of Trump. Then cam the allegations that Assange was in collusion with Russia.

The liberal side of media namely CNN were telling people that if they resaid anything from Wikileaks they were breaking the law.

The media claimed journalistic privilege when analyzing the e-mails — it was a circus.

Assange detailed the Clinton State Department’s questionable collusion with Google. And there are clear signs that WikiLeaks’ dump of nearly 20,000 hacked emails taken from the Democratic National Committee was timed to do maximum damage to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Clinton, according to Assange, “palled up with the neocons responsible for the Iraq War and she’s grabbed on to this sort of neo-McCarthyist hysteria about Russia, and is using that to demonize the Trump campaign.”

Even given WikiLeaks apparent Russian connections, and the Clinton campaign’s attempts to amplify them, the emails raise serious questions about Clinton’s staff granting political favors to donors and the DNC’s efforts to sabotage Bernie Sanders’s campaign.

Regardless of who she wronged it exposed the nature of how Hillary Clinton felt that she was above the law much like Nixon — so the comparisons to trump should be equally spread out to include Clinton and to even look to Barack Obama as a President that claims he knew nothing about the dirty political game being played between Trump and Clinton.

Yes it is more conspiracy in Washington –and while we see the heavy handed ridicule of Trump again — that same type of witch hunt hysterics are now been fermented with the extradition of Assange –and now we even question if a journalist is going to be treated fairly, when a democratic Dragon lady like Hillary Clint was crushed by an Australian investigative journalist.

Assange does not play sides when it comes to exposing corruption and so you can love or hate him — but jailing him will send a loud and clear message that if you do your job as a journalist you can be jailed.

This is a very important topic because we are now being told that those who speak against the government are domestic terrorists.

Assange will become the poster boy for that terminology.

I am called a conspiracy theorist but I am not one to create conspiracy theories – I merely report the ones that fascinate me, and try to piece together information gained from them in order to find a modicum of truth.

This theory is very simple and the conspiracy is obvious.

There is a conspiracy to make the American people think and believe they are part of the decisions of the elite.

You see, the elite think they are smart. Most of them have gone to the best schools and are part of the elite secret societies, whose base belief system is a partially occluded version of Luciferianism – or it is a mixture of both Luciferianism and Marxism.

Saul Alinsky, a man that both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, dedicated his book “Rules For Radicals” to Lucifer.

Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins — or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.

This in and of itself, does not make the aforementioned devil worshippers, but it does lead one to think that those inspired by Lucifer tend to see themselves as prideful and above it all.

The political elite see people in a different way – they see you as a resource to further their goals and agendas.

Karl Marx once used the axiom the Lumpenproletariat to describe the layer of the working class that is unlikely ever to achieve class consciousness and is therefore, lost to socially useful production, of no use to the revolutionary struggle, and perhaps even an impediment to the realization of a classless society.

Lumpen is a German word for miscreant or rag. If you read what Marx thought of the Lumpenproletariat, you would learn that he saw them as the class of outcast; degenerated and submerged elements that make up a section of the population of industrial centers” which include “beggars, prostitutes, gangsters, racketeers, swindlers, petty criminals, tramps, chronic unemployed or unemployables, persons who have been cast out by industry, and all sorts of declassed, degraded or degenerated elements.”

The elites that are groomed for politics learn these things in their expensive schools and they understand that these miscreants can be fooled into believing that someone cares about them. They really don’t understand what it means to struggle. They can pretend though.

These elites are people with ‘acquired’ knowledge that many cannot apply to life circumstances. So they go into politics, or are staffed in intelligence agencies, and of course, the low lying fruit are the agents they hire to spin the propaganda in the network media.

The elite trade their raw intelligence for acquired facts, they are told that they will someday make the rules, they will make the laws and they will have full spectrum control of everything.

The political elite like to create crises in order to stir up raw emotion. They like to form combative opinion in the media and hire others to support their hubris.

Political elite opinion is now beginning to show itself as immoral. Their opinion is based on a shoddy construct. However, the media and the elite do not want to discourage anyone from thinking like an elitist; in fact, they want you to think that you have a chance at being just like them.

They ask in the polls: whose hubris do you most like? Whose opinion in the elite is something you really agree with? Of course the elite say that they believe in certain things and they stand for certain things, but why should they?

What do they really have to worry about? You have plenty of things to worry about every day. You also have bills to pay, commitments that you can’t blow off.

But for that one second you think you are part of an elite group, you start believing that you are part of some political class. Well, you might think liberal or conservative and you can start thinking like you are part of the elite, but after it is all said and done, you are just what they call, the precariat or the Lumpenproletariat.

Basically, they see a lot of us as mostly angry, lower-middle-class statistics that have been programmed into jumping through hoops for them.

The elite have fooled us all, even though we are denial about the fact they still see us as suspicious.

You don’t think they really trust us do you?

This is a fools game.

It is a fool’s game.

The elite want you so badly to suffocate you, but they can’t because they want to do better – they want nothing more than to put you in some mental prison for life because of some vague, unproven charges of cultural guilt and perceived racism.

This is the conspiracy in all its lush and fulsome glory. It is something that if you really think about it and recoil in horror. You can be embarrassed or you really don’t have to care.

The salvo of leaks fired at the political class by Julian Assange anger people who think they are part of this elite programming.

The media is bending over backwards to call him a criminal and saying that he is part of some Russian conspiracy.

Assange still presents himself as above the fray, more interested in liberating secrets and destroying the barriers to information than in grubby power exchanges of partisan politics.

He has no loyalty to American partisan nonsense — but he will be a victim of it if he is jailed.

The charges against him should never have been brought.in the first place.

It is not too late for the US to drop the charges. On World Press Freedom Day this year, the , Joe Biden, said: “The work of free and independent media matters now more than ever.”

But does this apply to Assange?

Justice is one of the most important virtues of a healthy society. The basic idea is that when a wrong is committed, there is a system to help right that wrong in a way that is equitably applied. Marcus Tullius Cicero, orator and statesman of Ancient Rome, once said, “Justice commands us to have mercy upon all men, to consult the interests of the whole human race, to give to every one his due.”

Justice is a scale that does not give favor to one side or the other, but stays in balance equally for everyone.

When something is not just, one will always find an oppressive force at work. Acts of injustice are usually carried out in secret or covered up after the fact. Unless a society loses its legitimacy by devolving into a form of blatant tyranny, those in power will always try to appear to act justly. The oppression of a nation or section of a population is typically rationalized with what appears to be sound reasoning couched in political rhetoric.

Oppression produces inequality. Once it is normalized within society, it becomes invisible and is not easily challenged. Large parts of the population remain unconscious of it and then quietly support it. History is rife with examples of inherently unjust states and their systematic normalization. In the development of the US, the system of slavery, colonial genocide for land and resource extraction and oppression of minorities and women have all historically been carried out despite this nation’s great founding ideals of equality and freedom.

As a result of massive exposure of government wrong-doing, Julian Assange was officially declared an enemy of the State by the US. From financial blockades to the secret grand jury, WikiLeaks has been the focus of intense attacks and legal machinations. Assange has become a target of possibly the most severe character assassinations in history.

Attacks on Assange and journalists and activists like him are best understood within the social and political reality from which they emerge. In his case, Assange happens to be a founder of an organization that has become extremely influential in the world. Wikileaks’s allegiance, not to a particular country or private institution, but to global justice as a primary principle, exposes systematic oppression around the world that has been covered up and normalized.

If he is jailed, it will most certainly deal a blow to press freedom and against the public, who have a right to know what their governments are doing in their name.
