As I was walking to my house last night, I noticed how bright and orange Mars looks in the night sky. It is always one of those cool anomalies of summer and that is a very Bright Jupiter can be seen and a very bright Mars that is up above us watching.

It has always been intriguing to contemplate the enigma of Mars and how for years we have speculated about life on the planet and for many years have speculated about civilizations that may have existed on the red planet and whether or not our origins may have began on Mars.

Today, I was reading my news feed and found out why Mars seems to be bigger and brighter in the night sky – it is because of an event that happens every 17 years.

Mars is paying us its closest visit for the next 17 years, making the Red Planet appear bigger and brighter than usual. While Earth and Mars follow elliptical or oval-shaped orbits around the Sun, the fact our planet is closer than Mars means Earth speeds along its orbit faster.

Earth takes two trips around the Sun in the same time it takes Mars to make just a single circuit.

When Earth lines up directly between Mars and the Sun, this put Mars in “opposition” – this takes place every two years, and next occurring on July 27.

But astronomers say this year’s opposition will be all the more special.

Mars perihelion is at the point when the planet is closest to the Sun in its orbit.

So within a few weeks of opposition, a “perihelic opposition” makes Mars look super bright – a big orange ball in the sky that everyone can see with the naked eye. Such events happen every 17 years – and some bring us closer than others.

The 2003 opposition was especially significant, being the closest opposition in the last 60,000 years.

I happen to notice that in our kitchen a telescope has been set up, so I know that Liam has been curious about what is up in the sky.

While we have been told that there are building blocks for life on the planet and that this gets our hopes up for an announcement of alien life, I think people forget that Mars has always been suspected to be a life sustaining planet – even before Mariner fly-bys in the 1960’s.

The Egyptians called Mars, Har décher, or the Red One. The Babylonians named it Nergal, or “the Death Star”, and the Greeks also gave it a warlike reputation and so it was called the Fiery One, or Ares the God of war which of course has the same attributes as the Roman god Mars.

The Babylonians noticed that Mars had a strange movement and many were afraid that the planet would crash into Earth. Superstition and fear took over the bewildered herd, and when Mercury or Venus would rise with Mars it was looked upon as being an omen for bloodshed and government upheaval.

Historians have pointed out that civilizations have died off many times over the many millennia and there have been several apocalyptic ends for civilizations that always seem to be predicted or even observed when Mars is at its closest point to the planet.

Approximately four thousand two hundred years ago, the first great civilization in Egypt collapsed. An Egyptian tomb, discovered in southern Egypt revealed a horrifying clue as to what happened to the thriving civilization. The Tomb of a regional governor, named Ankhtifi had recorded in hieroglyphs that all of the uppermost regions of Egypt were dying of hunger. It was so severe that the people were forced to eat their children.

The planets that were aligned were Mars, Mercury and Venus.

Around the same time Troy II was destroyed by fire as was Sodom and Gomorrah.

In the Old Babylonian version of the great flood, known by Christians as the Flood of Noah, the Planet Mars and Mercury play a role. If you read a passage from the epic of Gilgamesh it is recorded that the passing of two planets created a shift allowing for a great flood to take place.

In the Epic of Gilgamesh OBV, tablet XI: 96-114 it reads:

“With the first glow of dawn, a black cloud rose up from the horizon. Inside it, Adad thunders. While Shullat and Hanish go in front of Nergal (Mars) like heralds.”

We can only determine that Adad is Mercury. Shullat and Hanish obviously are Phobos and Deimos, the two moons that pull the chariot of Mars or Nergal.

Furthermore we read:

“Moving over the hills and valleys while he tears out the pillars of the Earth, setting the Earth ablaze with their glare, Adad turned to blackness all that had been light. The land shattered like a piece of pottery No one can see his fellow, nor can the peoples be recognized from heaven. Even the gods were terrified by the Deluge, and shrinking back in fear, they ascended to the heaven of Anu.”

At that time they were obviously close enough to light up the sky.

It is also interesting to note that the planet Mercury was called by “Nebu Uru” by the Babylonians. Nebu Uru was depicted as a winged interloper that eventually was dubbed Nemesis or Vulcan.

Anciently, it was recorded that Vulcan, was orbiting between Mercury and the sun and disturbing the order of the solar system – it in conjunction with Mars passing close to earth was said to bring war famine and pestilence.

So the history is that both Mars and Nebu Uru were the planets where the Gods lived.

However, don’t expect anyone at NASA to tell you about this history. They certainly do not believe in the interloper planets, nor do they put credence in Planet Nine or even Nebu Uru which sounds an awful lot like Nibiru or Planet X.

Our interest in the past century has waxed and waned with the planet’s proximity to Earth. With Mars at its closest on July 27th and the eclipsed Red Moon, the signs of the ages are here again as the lunar eclipse is mainly influenced by Mars, making this an emotionally challenging eclipse.

It will be an eclipse of revelations, meaning that lies that were once told –will soon be eliminated with undeniable truth and I have a feeling that it will have something to do with the secrets of life out in space.

We may even see revelations brought forth about Nibiru or Planet X – who knows? We have been waiting all year for any word on the appearance of Planet X.

Meanwhile, there is still more news about Mars and how it is becoming difficult to cover up that there is life on the planet – and possible civilizations that lived there anciently.

NASA’s Curiosity rover has found complex organic matter buried and preserved in ancient sediments that formed a vast lake bed on Mars more than 3 billion years ago.

The discovery is the most compelling evidence yet that long before the planet became the parched world it is today, Martian lakes were a rich soup of carbon-based compounds that are necessary for life, at least as we know it.

Researchers cannot tell how the organic material formed and so leave open the crucial question: are the compounds remnants of past organisms; the product of chemical reactions with rocks; or is this evidence that an ancient civilization lived at one time on Mars.

But whatever the ultimate source of the material, we may see that there is now microbial life living Mars.

The presence of organics makes the argument for life of any kind is now leaning towards the affirmative.

But it is also interesting to note that Fox News reported what we have been reporting since the first announcements were made about building blocks for life were found on Mars.

Fox News reports or confirms that over 40 years ago, a NASA mission may have accidentally destroyed what would have been the first discovery of organic molecules on Mars, according to a report from New Scientist.

Of course we are talking about the Viking Findings and how it was anathema for any scientist to report that the experiments that were taking place indicated proof of life on Mars.

The first official finding of organic molecules was in 2014—however we have reported that as far back as 1976 NASA had kept a lid on any and all speculations about the finding of life and the Viking missions.

Gilbert Levin was the scientist who found that the Viking missions produced evidence of life On Mars. NASA immediately dismissed it. In 1996, a researcher that was actually supported by NASA said he had found fossil bacteria in a meteorite that had been blasted off the surface of Mars. The report, which was published in the journal Science, was featured on the cover of Time magazine and was trumpeted by the White House.

Eventually, most scientists were saying “Nothing to see here” claiming that formations in the rock merely looked like alien fossils and weren’t the real deal. Dr. Richard B. Hoover, an astrobiologist at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center claimed that he had found conclusive evidence of alien life. There were diagrammed pictures distributed that purported to show fossils of bacteria found in an extremely rare class of meteorite called CI1 carbonaceous chondrites. The pictures looked like some form of alien pasta embedded in the rock of the rare meteorites.

Hoover discovered the fossils by breaking apart the CI1 meteorite, and analyzing the exposed rock with a scanning-electron microscope and a field emission electron scanning microscope, which allowed him to detect any fossil remains. What he found were fossils of micro-organisms, many of which he says are strikingly similar to those found on our own planet. After Hoover’s report in the Journal of Cosmology, NASA didn’t surprise anyone by issuing a statement saying that it will distance itself from Hoover and his work. Paul Hertz, chief scientist of NASA’s science mission directorate, issued a statement saying, among other things, that “NASA cannot stand behind or support a scientific claim unless it has been peer-reviewed or thoroughly examined by other qualified experts.

According to Hertz, NASA was unaware of the recent claims and the submission of the paper to the Journal of Cosmology or of the paper’s subsequent publication.

Back then, the skeptics again ribbed the believers of aliens telling them that even NASA doubts their own scientists.

Now it appears that the data that was well known 40 years ago is being reconsidered and so perhaps it is time to reconsider a lot of things that NASA has appeared to be lying about for many years.

The work of Richard Hoagland, Tom Van Flandern and others has shown that there is evidence to show that perhaps ancient structures have been discovered there.

Many people remember that Hoagland has discussed the Face on Mars and other anomalies that NASA has said do not exist and that the Face located in the Cydonia region is just a trick of light.

For years the Face had intrigued many people and after years of study NASA released a new photo 2001 form the Mars Global surveyor that conveniently put to rest any speculation – showing the Face completely obliterated – looking only like a typical Mesa on the planet’s surface.

I attended a speaking engagement in Utah where Richard Hoagland and I discussed the Face on Mars and how the ancients would speak of faces of Cherubim that were carved into rock. They were Guardians of Holy Places.

Cherubim were second order sentinels that were to watch over sacred areas. They were depicted in ancient texts as having the face of a human on one side and the face of a lion on another.

It would be probable that NASA would want to cover up an artifact of religious significance found on Mars – or anything else that would point to ancient symbolism.

The symbolism of the face has ties to ancient Zodiac and even biblical passages such as the accounts in Ezekiel which many consider to be one of the books which records evidence of extraterrestrial encounters and interplanetary travel by prophets.

Ezekiel, in the Old Testament writes of a temple that he observed that had the tell tale signs of being guarded by a cherubim.

“And it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces; So that the face of a man was toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side: it was made through all the house round about. From the ground unto above the door were cherubims and palm trees made, and on the wall of the temple.”–Ezekiel 41:18

Remember that Ezekiel saw the wheel within the wheel and inside the wheel were pilots and he described them.

“And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.”

Obviously the face on Mars was only telling us half of the story.

Some have speculated that the east side of the face is that of a lion – and the west side of the face is that of a man.

This could very well explain why the Hindus called the Planet Mars “Narasimha” or the Lion Man. Narasimha would make widows out of women.

Once again, meaning that its influence creates chaos and bloodshed. As Mars moves closest to Earth, it moves into a straight trajectory of Leo.

A frightfully interesting coincidence.

The moon then turns to blood and will remain that way for 103 minutes over Jerusalem and the United Kingdom.

It just so happens to be the very night Mars will be at its closest to proximity to Earth in 15 years and the second closest ever approach to the Earth in 60,000 years.

Another frightfully interesting coincidence.

Will these events bring forth more information about life in space? Will Mars be the bringer of famine pestilence and war? Or will it be the bringer of more lies form NASA?

It may be that the aggressive influence of Mars will transform things for the better and not for the worst. It may mean that things that have become mundane and routine will be tore up and a necessity for a new way will be the mother of invention and improvement.
