STORM HYSTERIA 51
MONOLOGUE WRITTEN BY CLYDE LEWIS
With all of the hysteria that has been ratcheted up by the mainstream media against Donald Trump and his comments about four women that are now being called “the squad,” I really don’t think we have really listened to what has been said because the media has gone to great lengths to make this an issue of racism.
I am not saying that it is or it isn’t – that is not the point even though the media has made it the agenda.
We all know that President Trump has a hard time curbing his enthusiasm in tweeting bullying statements when his ego is bruised or when he sincerely feels that what he is saying is in defense of our flag and people.
This is a given and the media and those with Trump Derangement Syndrome will exploit it and make it an issue in a 5-day news cycle and neglect to even focus on a statement that I felt was just as threatening.
It was Representative Ilhan Omar’s response to the President when she said that she vows to ‘be a nightmare’ to President Trump.
Omar then called Trump a “fascist” after a chant “send her back” erupted during a campaign rally, a chant Trump said he disagreed with.
I have noticed some things that have me worried about this country and that is the overreach and maliciousness of the left-wing against their presumed enemies and the complacency of the right in allowing maliciousness to flow out of the Whitehouse without a hint of shame.
There never seems to be a point where the political parties actually conceded that one of their own has gone too far or is espousing radical ideas that left unchecked will become a catastrophe later.
In the 200-plus years since we boldly embarked on this experiment in self-government, we have been steadily losing ground to carefully worded propaganda, reactions without a point of context and words that threaten American citizens from the thrones of power.
These psychopaths in the spotlight have knocked us off our rightful throne. They have usurped our rightful authority as a people to govern ourselves.
I can only say that the ultimate coup is being staged. The agents that are instigating it no longer even pretend that they answer to “we the people.”
We are fast approaching a moment of reckoning where we will be forced to choose between the vision of what America was intended to be and the reality of what it has become and what it will be in the future if we allow agents and shadow planners to push their shadow government of tyranny as a punishment for all of our civil sins.
Even to this day, if you tell most people there is an ‘invisible government,’ or a shadow government that’s international in scope, they may call you a conspiracy theorist and call you a crank, fear-mongering purveyor of fake news.
However all one has to do is be observant and realize that many of the decisions that are made in government today simply don’t make a lot of sense – but of course those big men in the nice suits will try and explain it to you like you were ten years old, while secretly fondling their secretary or denying they know nothing about pedophile parties on the Lolita express.
It sickens me that many people are either ignorant of the lack of morality or jut act incredulous as to not anger their political buddies that look away enough to point the finger at someone else as they continue to seal their loyalty with blood cement to leadership that does not lead.
Leaders are now being appointed to coerce and to generate hysteria. They either think it is harmless or it is by design.
I would certainly float the idea that the latter seems more believable especially when the shadow government wishes to rule in secret and sidestep Congress and constitutional law.
It is now the American imperative to shoot down the ideas of visionaries and to make light of their warnings because of identity politics.
It is the job of the mainstream media to deny and condemn a thought or an idea that goes against their narrative and most people are willing to do the same as sophisticated propaganda and meme magic is now planting the seeds of ideas that employ the destructive group dynamic that is necessary to spark a civil upheaval for the response of the police state.
It’s a short hop, skip and a jump from allowing government agents to lock large swaths of the population up in detention centers unless or until they can prove that they are not only legally in the country to empowering government agents to subject anyone—citizen and noncitizen alike—to similar treatment unless or until they can prove that they are in compliance with every statute and regulation on the books, and not guilty of having committed some crime or other.
It’s no longer a matter of if, but when.
You may be innocent of wrongdoing now, but when the standard for innocence is set by the government, no one is safe. Everyone is a suspect, and anyone can be a criminal when it’s the government determining what a crime is.
Remember, the police state does not discriminate.
In order for us to move forward, we must properly identify our problems, and it doesn’t help when the most important problems that need to be identified are not even believed as a result of mass brainwashing and lack of education. No one is thinking for themselves, instead, they simply rely on establishment media, which has been nothing but a massive propaganda machine since its inception.
Political parties no longer support the people, and it’s hard to say if they ever really did. Government and politics are now simply, as President Theodore Roosevelt emphasized, “tools of corrupt interests which use them in martialling to serve their selfish purposes.” He flat-out stated that “Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to befoul the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of the day.”
The influence from the ‘secret government’ is exactly why we see so many presidents speaking out against certain things during their campaigns, and then all of a sudden they do a one hundred eighty degree flip on their promises once they’re in office. Presidents, along with other politicians, are most likely blackmailed, extorted, brainwashed, or kept away from certain narratives and perspectives.
Most of them have been nothing but puppets for the global elite. Some do this willingly, and others unknowingly. If one thing is true about global politics, it’s that what we are presented with is far from the truth with regards to what’s really going on behind the scenes.
Every conspiracy theorist and those who are suspicious of the moves of government always want to be let in on the secrets and all of the big things that go on behind the scenes.
Many times we have been told that we should not explore or even expose certain things for fear of reprisal—there have been many investigators who have paid the ultimate price for exposing the shadowy figures that are employed behind the scenes.
Recently there has been this movement, based on a joke that millions of people should storm Area 51 because for 30 years we have been told that the heavily guarded facility has secrets that need to be revealed once and for all. The philosophy behind the event is simply “they can’t arrest us all” if we storm the gates. So far the gathering boasts that nearly one and a half million people want to participate.
Already rooms are being booked for the event and Budweiser beer wants to make it an excuse to sell collector cans of Alien Beer.
I have already given my views on how dangerous this would be even if 1% shows up to storm the gates.
People are also taking for granted that the military forces guarding the facility would not shoot American citizens, however, we have seen from past experience, from Los Angeles Riots to Waco, police and the National Guard will do anything to contain a situation which does include turning weapons on citizens.
When I first brought this subject to my audience, Jack from San Diego called and said that he saw the “storming of Area 51″ in a different way.
He expressed that the world is in a state of open rebellion. He said that the government cannot even protect our borders and this is sending the message to those who want a revolution that our government lacks credibility.
He said the local governments in California and other progressive cities are trying to defy federal law only because they do not like the president. He said that the climate is ripe for not only storming area 51 but for storming other places where we want changes to happen.
Needless to say, the conversation was straying into some dangerous territory as the idea of storming Area 51 is one thing but storming city hall or even Washington can go south pretty fast.
It was after this call that I received a few e-mails that generated the idea that the storming of Area 51 was a well-crafted psy-op to encourage people to venture beyond storming a secret facility but perhaps storming other facilities in a fit of revolution.
I did not want to go into the argument that this was even remotely true. that is until I read yesterday about the hundreds of thousands of Puerto Rican citizens have taken to the streets to storm government buildings demanding the ouster of Governor Ricardo Rosselló.’
The protest was one of the largest ever seen on the island, as Puerto Ricans streamed into the capital on buses and some on planes from the mainland, in a spontaneous eruption of fury over the years of recession, mismanagement, natural disaster, and corruption that have fueled a recent exodus.
Ignoring sporadic deluges, demonstrators launched impromptu line dances, paraded on horseback, banged pots and carried banners along several miles of highway, demanding he resigns.
The crisis has deepened an existential wound that has long been festering in Puerto Rico and finally, the people cracked and planned a march and a protest where they would not disperse until he resigns.
Now, I have not really explained the reason why this event has me entertaining the idea that storming Area 51 is a psy-op.
It is because I started thinking that the Island of Puerto Rico is an area populated by 3.2 million people. It is a territory of the United States. It neither has official voting representation in Congress nor a vote in presidential elections.
Puerto Rico has been discussed as a potential 51st state of the United States. In a 2012 status referendum a majority of voters, 54%, expressed dissatisfaction with the current political relationship with the United States.
In a separate question, 61% of voters supported statehood (excluding the 26% of voters who left this question blank). On December 11, 2012, Puerto Rico’s legislature resolved to request that the President and the U.S. Congress act on the results, end the current form of territorial status and begin the process of admitting Puerto Rico to the Union as a state. On January 4, 2017, Puerto Rico’s new representative to Congress pushed a bill that would ratify statehood by 2025.
There is a bit of coincidence here in September as American citizens wish to storm Area 51. In Puerto Rico, the proposed 51st state the people are storming government buildings demanding that their leader resign.
It is storming Area 51 – the proposed 51st state – another technical illustration of American rebellion against leadership.
Perhaps a coincidence; perhaps a well-planned psy-op and yet it should not be ignored for its potential repercussions here in the United States.
There has always been a body of thought that we are well on our way to the rise of the emergency state.
The United States has been in a constant state of emergency for 40 years.
Under the U.S. Constitution, presidents have amassed many powers that spring to life during a crisis. President Harry Truman first declared a state of emergency during the Korean War, in an order that remained in effect until Congress attempted to regulate this authority years later, according to the Lawfare Institute. In 1976, Congress passed the National Emergencies Act, codifying without truly restricting this authority. The law gives a president the power to declare a national emergency when she or he wishes. Under the act, an emergency lapses after a year, unless it’s renewed—and it often is.
President Jimmy Carter declared the first national emergency under the NEA in 1979, with an order blocking Iranian government property from entering the U.S. in response to the Iran hostage crisis. Carter determined that this situation, like the many to follow it, met the criteria of being “an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security.”
Although the act is intended to combat threats, it also authorizes far-reaching powers, which critics consider a threat of their own. Since that first order in 1979, American presidents have declared 58 national emergencies. 31 are still in effect. Who knows how many more National emergencies will be declared and would any of these emergencies be declared in the event of insurrection?
Washington undoubtedly is preparing for such a possibility which is also suspect with regard to the “storm hysteria” that seems to be a form of meme magic on social media.
The Pentagon has revealed a few details about a secret Army mission that has Black Hawk helicopters flying missions over the Washington, D.C., area backed by active-duty and reserve soldiers.
The mysterious classified operation was disclosed when the Army asked Congress for approval to shift funds to provide an extra $1.55 million for aircraft maintenance, aircrews and travel in support of an “emerging classified flight mission.”
It’s part of a $2.5 billion request this month to “reprogram” funds in the current fiscal year’s budget to programs considered high priorities. “Without additional funding, the Army will not be able to perform this classified mission,” the Defense Department said.
Army spokesman Wayne Hall declined in an email to comment on some possibilities, including whether the mission involved protecting the White House or other federal buildings and whether it’s making use of specialized commando units of the Pentagon’s Joint Special Operations Command, which includes the Army’s Delta unit and Navy’s Seal Team Six.
Hall said the operation began early in the fiscal year, which started Oct. 1, and “the duration of the mission is undetermined.”
What is important here is what Army spokespeople refuse to comment on whether or not government buildings are a target for some future storming or insurrection that they may be anticipating.
Do not underestimate the power of the spread of catchphrases or image macros, or even so-called jokes that encourage the storming of any government facility.
It has been these electronic seeds planted in various areas of social media that have triggered civil upheavals like the Arab Spring. The Yellow Vest riots in France, the Puerto Rican uprising of our potential 51st state and soon the storming of Area 51.
Political memes are now a form of propaganda – and it’s killing our ability to intelligently orchestrate a political conversation; in fact, it is now espousing the idea of mass revolution and insurrection.
Memes, from the Greek for “that which is imitated” were once defined as being self-replicating units of culture. This included anything that could be learned, remembered and spread from one brain to another, such as the concept of god all the way to the popular Budweiser “Wazzup” catchphrase.
Through the internet, the idea moved from the conceptual sphere into the viscous reality of data and pixels, transforming it into something more traceable: a segment of media that is copied rapidly. This includes images, text, video, a combination of all three and sometimes real-world actions.
The area 51 meme and joke has spawned other joke memes like “Storm the Vatican – they can’t rape us all” there have been a few “Storm the Whitehouse” memes –some say they are innocuous but the Pentagon does not agree.
What’s novel here is an inversion of control – political memes are no longer rare flashes of uncensored personality or intensely manicured visual messages. They are now born from the swamps of the internet in real-time, distributed from the bottom up. They have grown into a form of anarchic folk propaganda.
In a post-truth landscape where distrust of the media has gone mainstream, nickel-and-dime propagandists are able to resonate with an audience because they trade in the allure of dark fantasies that appeal to alienated young people –like storming Area 51 to find aliens… and the question is what is next?
The tools we use to communicate are becoming counterproductive to actual communication. It’s only getting easier to spread lies and respond with shrugs. The internet has become an endless theatre of virtual conflict, one in which we are all either willing or oblivious participants and like it or not, it is on this battlefield that the nature of our reality will probably be decided.
How do you persuade a populace to embrace totalitarianism or even socialism? How do we make the goose-stepping form of tyranny look fashionable and keen to the intellect?
You persuade the people that the menace they face (imaginary or not) is so sinister, so overwhelming, so fearsome that the only way to surmount the danger is by rebelling, crashing the gates, revealing the secrets and then you lie in wait for the next time.
It doesn’t matter how much money you make, what politics you subscribe to, whether or not you believe or disbelieve in aliens or what God you worship: we are all potential suspects, terrorists, and lawbreakers in the eyes of the government.
