BATTLE SPACE X
MONOLOGUE WRITTEN BY CLYDE LEWIS
Ever since the Russians launched Sputnik in 1952, the United States has been profoundly reliant on the ability to use space as an area for military superiority. The upper hand in the upper atmosphere and beyond has gone from being a front and center matter of business, to the much speculated back office project where black budgets are utilized to created space weapons and conduct activities that are part of what has been called the Secret Space program.
Though little has been said about secret space projects, there have been a few rumors being spread outside of professional and expert circles, that space, or, more precisely, top secret U.S. assets that are up in space are vital to U.S. defense and intelligence communications.
There are also black budgets that have been set aside to discuss threat probabilities from unknown objects that have been tracked by the military. These unknowns could be from foreign countries obviously; however, there has been evidence demonstrating that other unknowns could be from an extraterrestrial source.
Ever since Ronald Reagan made his famous alien threat speech and the SDI programs were first imagined, there always has been concerns about space dominance with and among national leaders, military forces, and others; that handle command and control; positioning, navigation, and timing; intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance; and a host of other functions.
Stephen King in his short story “Danse Macabre” related that when he was a child of the 1950’s, he remembered that while he was attending a movie the screen suddenly went dark. The manager of the theater walked to the front of the auditorium. With an ashen face and tears in his eyes he told the crowd that the Soviet Union had just launched Sputnik.
The dread of this announcement would not even be felt today, however back then, it was devastating because there were many people who knew what this meant. It meant that the Russians now had the power to not only put satellites into space, but perhaps nuclear weapons would be next.
It was a sign back then that the world was being undone, unraveling like thread around a spool. The paranoia at the time was fertile ground for horrific tales of aliens, and nuclear annihilation from space. Now the ante has been raised and while the aliens still haunt us with the stories of Roswell and the Betty and Barney Hill abduction, the thought of an outer space we can’t control and a battle in space that will most likely destroy the earth is something that seems to be inevitable.
Another thing that can be more frightening is the fact that we do not know what is above us. We do not know what weapons are there, or what space stations observe us, and what unnatural things are observing us from platforms that have been there for decades.
On July 31st, I reported about the recent wildfires that have been blazing out of control all over the world. Of course the most concern that we have is the wild fires that are burning in California.
Elana Freeland and Jamie Lee appeared on Ground Zero to report that it appears that the fires that have been burning out of control on the Pacific Coast may have been ignited by Direct Energy Weapons. Furthermore, Deborah Tavares also appeared on the show to back up the notion that these directed energy weapons have been fired from space or by drones or some mother method.
The idea is controversial one, but it certainly has been the popular theory and recently there have been photos that have been spreading throughout the internet that purport to show what appears to be straight shot beams coming from space and causing weather disruptions, powerful lightning and of course the forest fires that are blazing all over the world.
Now, there is no way to verify if all of the photos are genuine and we have to acknowledge the possibility of CGI or photoshop expertise in these matters until we can verify their validity.
However, recent events have blown wide open the possibility that much of the talk of the illegal use of Directed Energy Weapons is not at all out of the question.
At the Black Hat Technology conference held in Las Vegas experts were already warning that a number of popular satellite communication systems are vulnerable to hacks that could convert them into weapons systems capable of hitting and destroying targets on earth.
The satellite communications that ships, planes and the military use to connect to the internet are vulnerable to hackers that, in the worst-case scenario, could carry out “cyber-physical attacks”, turning satellite antennas into direct target weapons that operate, essentially, like microwave ovens.
The potential damage varies.
At the very least, the hacks have the ability to disrupt, intercept or modify all communications passed through antennas, allowing an attacker to, for instance, eavesdrop on emails sent through an in-flight WiFi system, or attempt to launch further hacking attacks against devices connected to the satellite network including weapons systems.
In a worst case scenario the attackers can carry out “cyber-physical attacks”: where the hackers reposition the antenna and setting its output as high as it will go, to launch a “high intensity radio frequency attack.”
Literally, turning Satcom devices into directed radio frequency weapons.
It’s pretty much the same principle behind the microwave oven. Even if the antenna can’t be used to physically injure humans, a HIRF attack can also cause physical damage to objects and electrical systems.
Time and time and again, Intelligence has leaked into the mainstream information regarding advanced weapons systems developed by Russia and China for use in a potential space conflict.
In February of this year, a worldwide threat assessment was released that reflected input from organizations including the FBI, the CIA, and the National Security Agency.
The report was officially compiled by Daniel R. Coats, Director of National Intelligence.
While many threat assessments are analyzed from Terrorism to advanced Cyber Warfare a report on space and Counterspace objectives indicate that experimental direct energy weapons are already being placed in outer space by Russia and China.
According to the report Russia and China continue to launch “experimental” satellites that conduct sophisticated on-orbit activities, at least some of which are intended to advance Counterspace capabilities. Some technologies with peaceful applications—such as satellite inspection, refueling, and repair, can also be used against adversary spacecraft.
Russian and Chinese destructive ASAT weapons could very well have reached initial operational capability because China’s PLA has formed military units and begun initial operational training with counterspace capabilities that it has been developing, such as ground-launched ASAT missiles. Russia probably has a similar class of system in development. Both countries are also advancing directed-energy weapons technologies for the purpose of fielding ASAT weapons that could blind or damage sensitive space-based optical sensors, such as those used for remote sensing or missile defense.
There is no word on whether or not they are in operation now and there is no word as to whether or not they have been used or tested on our various forests igniting fires.
However, the urgency to combat such advances in space technology was made apparent as Vice President Mike Pence promoted President Trump’s vision of the sixth branch of the military known as the Space Force.
Yesterday, Vice-president Pence said that Space Force is an “idea whose time has come.”
“The time has come to write the next great chapter in the history of our armed forces, to prepare for the next battlefield where America’s best and bravest will be called to deter and defeat a new generation of threats to our people, to our nation,” Mr. Pence told an audience at the Pentagon. He called for Congress to allocate an additional $8 billion for space security systems over the next five years.
The timing could not be any more appropriate as the reports of ASAT hacking could result in direct energy attacks are fueling speculation that a space weapons attack may have already been carried out by China or Russia.
It is also very timely when you consider that Russia threatened to cut off a supply of rocket engines that are crucial to the U.S. space program in retaliation for surprise sanctions over the Skripal poisoning.
The U.S. announced Wednesday it would impose new sanctions after Washington determined Moscow had used a nerve agent against Russian former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia. Dawn Sturgess, a mother of three, died after coming across remnants of the poison, which also affected her boyfriend, Charlie Rowley. Russia continues to deny any involvement in the attempted murders using a Soviet-era nerve agent known as Novichok.
Russia supplies RD-180 rocket engines used by NASA and the Pentagon since the US does not have a reliable domestic alternative.
In 1997, Moscow and Washington sealed a deal on the supply of 101 units of RD-180 engines to the US. Two years ago, the US Congress banned using the Russian-produced engines after 2019. However, the ban was cancelled after lawmakers reportedly realized that the US space industry couldn’t find a replacement.
I always questioned why our so-called enemy, Russia was providing us with all of our space rockets and trips to the ISS. Something that has failed to be reported in the mainstream media –with regard to the Russia hate campaign provided on the nightly news.
Apart from RD-180 engines, the US buys RD-181s from the Russian makers. The RD-181 engine is used to power the Antares rockets that launch Cygnus cargo tugs to the International Space Station for NASA.
It appears that all of the Russian hate will not be tolerated and Russia is now about to stop our friendly space relations because of it.
This means by 2020, we are going to have to be independent and not use Russia for our space efforts.
Now we know why the push is on for a Space Force.
Exploitation of space is particularly critical to effective U.S. power projection, as it provides the U.S. military with the ability to operate effectively over global distances, beyond the reach of what U.S. ground-based and aerial assets, limited by range and endurance, can provide.
The U.S. space architecture is becoming increasingly vulnerable, with U.S. satellites in low Earth orbit already targetable by a nation such as China and with U.S. satellites in deeper space very likely to become similarly exposed soon.
Space Force has been criticized by Trump’s detractors and the dreams of a squadron of space cadets still has to go through a divided Congress to come true, but initially reluctant Pentagon officials have lined up behind the proposal and now say that they will do what they can to bring it to fruition.
Space Force may be a reality only to somehow put a face on what has been happening with secret military budgets for many years.
There was especially a bit of speculation during the Obama administration that secret space operations were already underway as $17 billion dollars in black budget monies were going to secret military operations.
One of the possible projects that was receiving money was the secret space plane program. The U.S. Air Force’s X-37B space plane has been launched many times into space and has secretly orbited the planet for long periods of time.
The plane was an unmanned aircraft and it was flown by a computer.
Just what the space plane was doing up there remains unclear; details about X-37B missions, including the payloads carried to orbit are officially classified.
The idea of a secret space program has always been one of the worst kept secrets in government and there has been a theory that NASA has always been a Public relations machine on the surface, and a secret military operation where the space race continues with secret manned missions to the moon, mars and beyond.
Similar programs have also been conducted by China and Russia. Their conquests have been well-known and they have sent shockwaves felt all the way to the Pentagon.
China’s 2007 destruction of a satellite in low Earth orbit demonstrated its ability to hit satellites in range and its 2013 test of an anti-satellite weapon reportedly propelled a missile approximately 18,600 miles into space, just shy of the 22,236 miles at which U.S. satellites are in geosynchronous orbit, including essential missile warning and communications satellites.
Russia and China continue to publicly and diplomatically promote international agreements on the non-weaponization of space and “no first placement” of weapons in space. However, many classes of weapons would not be addressed by such proposals, allowing them to continue their pursuit of space warfare capabilities while publicly maintaining that space must be a peaceful domain.
According to a report in Aviation Weekly, the Directed Energy Weapons demand has shot up 26 percent and it was also reported that the F135 will be seeing upgrades in power in order to allow the installation of Directed Energy Weapons capabilities.
Additional power and thermal management capability will enable the use of directed energy weapons and other advanced offensive and defensive systems.
U.S. lawmakers from the House and Senate have agreed on a final version of the approximately $716 billion defense spending bill for the 2019 fiscal year, which requires the U.S. military begin work on developing new warning satellites to spot incoming ballistic missiles and weapons to blow them up from space.
The draft law requires the Missile Defense Agency to pursue these programs even if it argues against them in an up-coming ballistic missile defense strategy review, which might be setting the Pentagon up for a battle with Congress, but might also highlight the opinions of certain senior U.S. military leaders.
Based on the existing language in the defense spending bill for the 2018 fiscal year, the lawmakers want to the Missile Defense Agency to come up with a plan to finish development of the space-based weapons to destroy incoming missiles – this of course, means the used of Direct Energy Weapons.
Technology has advanced considerably and contracts have already been secured for solid-state lasers, high-power microwaves, and rail guns from defense contractor Lawrence Livermore Laboratories in California – the same lab that was testing these Directed Energy Weapons in 1998 on a military UFO that crashed near Tracy, California.
Their laser weapons development was top-secret project since 1974 the goal was to create a laser that produces energy levels that rival the power of a nuclear bomb. When fired, this laser is capable of unleashing the power of the Sun enough energy to light up every home in the United States or wipe out mankind.
The project was actually comprised of 192 lasers that would be aimed at a hydrogen pellet the size of a BB. In a split second, one quick bolt of energy would go undetected until the devastation would result.
Everything in the vicinity of the laser would melt or be reduced to ashes and flame; however, the destruction could be pinpointed in order to hit a target without disturbing anything in the periphery.
It has always been speculated that if a technology exists, it has the potential to be used secretly, before the public is aware of its existence.
During the war in Iraq it was speculated that these weapons were used on Iraqi citizens. Now there is speculation that these weapons are being used to ignite the fires all over the world.
One can point to melted car parts, structures being destroyed by fire while other seemingly more flammable things remain intact and anecdotal observations such as this, and conclude that these new fires are being engineered.
Knowing what we know about secret weapons programs and ASAT systems turned into microwave weapons, the idea is not much of a leap of logic.
