This whole week I have attempted to acquaint you with hypocognition. It was a lesson in what you don’t know about something. I had indicated that hypocognition is used by the media to exclude certain aspects of a story for an agenda. It is not what they report it’s what they don’t report. It is what they hold back and dig up later to create public alarm and crisis that creates the Hegelian nightmare where people fight amongst themselves and clamor for drastic measures.

The sole reason I talked about the framing of any story and hypocognition was because I wanted to point to the curious story of Mollie Tippets the missing Iowa girl. I actually wanted to address the fact that while her story was a topic of discussion every day on CNN’s headline news. Every day pictures of the young and attractive young woman were shown on CNN. Nothing was known about her – it appeared that she was part of an affluent family; she was an All-American girl. Still not much was known about her, only that she was missing. I was curious as to why this girl out of all of the girls who are missing, exploited or trafficked was singled out for our national concern.

It was reported that this young woman was found in a cornfield, the victim of a murder. It was a tragic end and still I wondered – just another girl with a pretty face murdered by a deranged killer. I wondered why we were invited into her drama – why did the media select her?

When they announced that the suspect in the case was an illegal alien I immediately knew that this was a media opportunity to take the focus off the young woman killed and move the attention to the suspect and how it was an open invitation for political vultures to pounce.

They did unfortunately and I believe that the media knew that it would and that while the police were scanning surveillance video and knew that the suspect was an illegal – the findings were leaked to the media early and they saw fit to select the story give it a few weeks and then exploit the hypocognition of the American people in order to continue the civil unrest between those who want stronger borders and the liberal left that believe that the borders need to be dissolved.

I want to make it clear that I am not calling this story a false flag, as everyone assumes that anyone who is labeled a conspiracy theorist will go in this direction. I want it to be clear that this girl’s murder is a tragedy and I want to make it clear that this suspect, if found guilty, should be punished. And yes, I feel that our borders need to be secure to prevent “criminals” from getting through, but I want to also make it clear that the media obviously wants the country to erupt in a civil war.

It is media manipulation that currently shapes everything you read, hear and watch everything.

Today, with our blog and web-driven media cycle, nothing can escape exaggeration, distortion, fabrication, and simplification.

However, all that is excluded does not get the distortion or even the manipulation – it is what is finally revealed that gets the political treatment and this story about Mollie Tibbets is obviously another object lesson in the continuing agenda of the media to keep the hate flowing.

The Mollie Tibbetts story has become “hate bait.”

When the news is decided not by what is important but by what readers are clicking; when the cycle is so fast that the news cannot be anything else but consistently and regularly incomplete; when dubious scandals about election bids or stories about officials charged with fraud or when the news frequently covers itself in stories about ‘how the story unfolded’ rather than how the story impacts us personally. Media manipulation is the status quo and as I have said many times, when the majority of the media frames everything in the brackets of The Resistance – we know the motive for exploiting this story and it doesn’t matter if this hardens the resolve of wall supporters, it opens the floodgates of anger that the media will exploit as hate speech against undocumented.

I posted on my Facebook about how cynical I was about the all American girl being murdered by an illegal immigrant — many people who saw this assumed that I meant that I did not believe the story happened.

No, the story is real – just that whenever I brought up the Mollie Tibbetts story before she was murdered, no one knew who I was talking about.

I would say in editorial meetings what do you know about Mollie Tibbetts and every time I would get “Who?” I would say the missing girl from Iowa and some would say – “yea who is she and why is she being singled out as a person we should care about when women and girls go missing all the time?”

Many people don’t know that she had been in the news cycle for an entire month.

This is why I talked about hypocognition – if you hadn’t seen her or if you didn’t know about her, you didn’t care. Now, her death is being used to harden the resolve of those who want the wall built and it gives a reason to again have the media point out that those who want the wall and assume that all immigrants are killers and rapists are racists.

The hate speech argument prevails and once again the framing process will lead to more whirlwind banning and taking down of websites.

The war on civility escalates and we again using our division to push a possible confrontation – it can be argued that the media wants a civil war.

Cristhian Bahena Rivera is the suspect a 24 year old living in the U.S., illegally. Now, while the media had latched on to the case and were reporting about how she went missing – what they failed to report was that the police already had surveillance video of the young girl jogging and Rivera’s car approaching her.

Now it can be speculated that the police had an idea who the suspect was and on a hunch, the media saw it as an opportunity to build on an already hot issue of immigration reform. It had nothing to do with right or left leading support – it was about exploiting the tensions that this country has about illegal’s coming into this country – that is why Mollie’s case so special.

To add more fuel to the already political fire being stoked, the New York Post reported that Rivera was working for years at a farm owned by a prominent Iowa Republican family.

Rivera was an employee in “good standing” at Yarrabee Farms, which is owned by the family of former Iowa official, Craig Lang, according to the Des Moines Register.

Now is this important information that helps us get to know why Mollie was so special?

Apparently not.

What you didn’t know was that Craig Lang is the former president of the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation and a 2018 Republican candidate for state secretary of agriculture.

Following the arrest of Rivera, Republicans across the country including Iowa’s governor blasted what they consider the lax immigration laws that led to Tibbetts’ death.

Once again the political football was put into play – Mollie is now just a pretty face that is being used for political hate bait.

Later on Wednesday afternoon, the Des Moines Register reported that a court document filed this morning states that the man accused of killing Mollie Tibbetts was working legally in Iowa, which now contradicts authorities’ contention that he is undocumented.

This sparked yet another heated attack on President Trump.

Allen Richards who is Rivera’s attorney told the Register that the government is incorrectly promoting the idea that Rivera is not in Iowa legally, he has issued a gag order to stop the spread of what he calls lies about the suspect.

Richards stated that it is “Sad and sorry that Trump has weighed in on this matter in national media which will poison the entire possible pool of jury members.”

President Donald Trump called the United States’ immigration laws “a disgrace” referring to the Mollie Tibbetts case.

Richards claims that this is political payback and that media is playing into it saying that they have not made any effort to investigate the matter – they are only exploiting the matter politically and that the case will not be viewed fairly and that justice will not prevail.

He certainly sees that his client nor Mollie will not fare well in the court of public opinion as the case is no longer about her or him – but about the race and immigration controversy and whether or not we should build a wall to keep out what President Trump calls, the criminals, drug dealers and rapists.

To illustrate the point that this is certainly an incendiary issue, the Video Music Awards aired on MTV. Logic the Rapper and Ryan Tedder opened the show. Logic entered the building wearing a shirt that said, “F*CK the Wall” with children following him wearing shirts that say “We re all Human Beings.” The children were marched in for an emotional statement about immigrant families being separated and the kids were supposed to be dreamers.

They marched to the stage where a large yellow ribbon was stretched. The ribbon looked like blockade tape that had the words U.S. Border Patrol emblazoned on it.

Then a wall is lifted and on the other side are people of all ages, representing parents and relatives being reunited with their kids.

Doesn’t this strike you as coincidental as to the timing?

I do – it is part of the agenda to vilify anyone who decides to speak out against illegal aliens, once we have established that the suspect is illegal, everyone grabs on to their cognitive bias and begins spreading their anger, which is then quantified as hate speech or racism and the index of hate in the internet goes on alert.

The Left blame President Trump – the conservative’s blame everything that they claim is liberal clap trap, but the truth is obvious as to what is happening – accept no one will say it.

We are in a Civility War because the powerful who seek globalism want to see America eat itself.

This will result in name calling like fascist racist, bigot and hater, and that your views are unacceptable. Be quick to point out that the intolerance in this situation is not coming from you. In fact, the hatred being spewed is not yours, but that of your accuser.

The hate is there because the media and the elite love this type of theater, and we are the players. They can drop the curtain at any time and strike the set they have constructed. It is like a sick version of the Matrix or even the Truman show. If you can see outside of the illusion of Right and Left, you can free yourself form lack of civility that has the nation in its grip.

We are watching helplessly as a minority is seizing the social agenda of the Republic.

We are beginning to see how most of America is finding a disconnect with the rapid change in social issues and what is frightening is that the government is expecting a violent blow back.

To our dismay, we now find ourselves scrambling for a foothold as our once rock-solid constitutional foundation crumbles beneath us. And no longer can we rely on the president, Congress, the courts, or the police to protect us from radical ideologies or fomented hate and misunderstanding.

Framing processes with loaded statements about immigration and attacks from both sides continue the vicious circle and no matter what your position is – the triggers are put in the narrative framework to guarantee anger and misunderstanding.

It is all part of the grooming and programming process and any argument for or against the framed narrative has the same result – division and in some cases civil upheaval.

To further illustrate my point, have you ever noticed how when the President tweets the media generates more stories about them than they would natural disasters or any other tragedy?

The earthquake in Venezuela or even a compound in the United States that teaches kids to commit school shootings is ignored in favor of what would spark more national angst and agitprop.

The media has taken on the idea that the facts mean nothing until you put them in a political context.

Everything else is excluded and what is revealed is trashed as conspiracy theory because it opens the discussion up to other possible answers to the one framed topic or ideology.

There is an assumption that the media gives us all the concepts and facts we need to take a position on any topic. Granted we have the freedom to express anything we want. The truth is that the media does not give us all the ideas we need to make a safe and non emotional assessment of what is happening.

We only fall for the issue that has been framed and repeated over and over again.

The true issue that the media avoids is the freedom issue and how freedom can work without the divisive issues that are now edging us closer to civil instability.

Hypocognition is our inability to see things that we’re not conditioned to see or to comprehend ideas for which we have no framework.

We have a lack of ideas or metaphors to adequately describe and explain the world of complex ideas and circumstances, often leading to a state of whatever are comfortable –whatever is part of the conditioning is fact–whatever issue irritates you — you have to remedy it with views and framing that have already been chosen for you.

We are somewhat victimized by our own programming.

In the case of Mollie Tibbetts did the media adequately describe why we should care about her? What was she like, what was her job? Did she have any friends? If I was to ask you what you knew about her before she was killed I would bet you didn’t know.

Now you know about her alleged killer – you know that he is an illegal and you know that illegal immigration is a problem.

For some, the complacency is all they need to know and from there, they are an expert on what needs to be done. They know everything they need to know about those types of people. Everything they need to know about what illegal’s do.

Politicians and the corporate media often use terms that we think we understand and which sound good but if asked to define them we would be grasping at straws.

It makes it hard for the public to believe there can be anything wrong with “globalism” or open birders which sound like positive concepts to those ignorant of history.

Today, most of the public rely on the 30 second sound bite to get their information about the world, so their fund of information is shallow. Most people want things the easy way. On the internet they read headlines and are quick to make judgments without assessing intent.

We are used to going down many avenues of immediate gratification, and as a consequence of hypocognition, most of the public are trapped within their own bias based on misinformation.

By giving them bread, circuses, and pornography, and by keeping them ill-informed, most of the public ignore or are unaware of, many other dimensions of society that have them trapped and completely unaware.

Finally, it needs to be said that Mollie Tibbetts’ death was a horrible tragedy. However, the even bigger tragedy is America hardly knew her, and they won’t because she was reduced from a person – to hate bait.

Let the guilty be punished and the ignorance and hate will prevail.
