Dr. Colin A. Ross is an internationally recognized clinician, researcher, author, and lecturer in the field of dissociation, trauma-related disorders, and psychological trauma. He is the founder and President of The Colin A. Ross Institute for Psychological Trauma.

Dr. Ross completed his medical school at the University of Alberta. He is a Canadian psychiatrist and former president of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation from 1993 to 1994.
