Dr. Colin A. Ross

Dr. Colin A. Ross is an internationally recognized clinician, researcher, author, and lecturer in the field of dissociation, trauma-related disorders, and psychological trauma. He is the founder and President of The Colin A. Ross Institute for Psychological Trauma. Background and Education Dr. Ross completed his medical school at the University of Alberta. He is a Canadian psychiatrist and former president of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation from 1993 to 1994. Work and Research Dr. Ross is the Director of hospital-based Trauma Programs in Denton, Texas, Torrance, California, and Grand Rapids, Michigan. He provides cognitive therapy groups at all three locations, in person in Texas and by video-conference in Michigan and California. He has been running a hospital Trauma Program in the Dallas area since moving to Texas in 1991. Dr. Ross is also the founder and President of The Colin A.
