PHANTOM DISSIDENT: DESTROYING COGNITIVE LIBERTY

Ron Patton | April 25, 2010

There was a Twilight Zone Episode and script that I was encouraged to read when I was a student in elementary school. The story demonstrates how a friendly neighborhood can degenerate into a dangerous mob when paranoia, sets in.
Rod Serling utters a very compelling lesson in an epilogue to the wonderfully crafted and prophetic “The monsters are due on Maple Street.”

He states that the tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices – to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children…the children yet unborn.
In this episode we see how small town USA can become a tribe of hostile monsters when paranoia reaches out to find a scapegoat to blame all of their misfortunes on.
All it took was a few devastating seeds that plant the thoughts of mistrust into the minds of the neighborhood. After alien figures terrorize a neighborhood by manipulating their machines we watch the fearful herd begin to materialize.
It leads to the self-destruction of a group of people. What we are seeing is the perpetual manipulation that is turning a healthy America into a fearful herd in desperate need for guidance.
If you really want to see the enemy at this time you don’t have to look any further than ourselves.
It’s easy to get your fix of electronic masturbatory fear, paranoia and grief. Just turn on the TV—Go to a Movie or even listen to your radio.

All you need to do is sit back and let it all enter you head. Just invest your time in worthless propaganda devised to spark mistrust. It’s easy and before you know It, you will have blood on your hands. You may not do the killing yourself, but you will be the less than an innocent bystander. You can become the cheerleader for death and destruction.
The true terrorists and bogeymen are on television. They have a war to sell. The price is your soul, your money, blood and bones.
My show has taken on this heavy cloak of responsibility lately.  The responsibility has been firmly planted in the worry that I could very well have to become unpopular and call out disinformation even when it offends the very audience that wants to believe in the prevailing theory instead of the compelling evidence to the contrary.
It used to be that the speculation surrounding the story helped produce thought forms leading to the educated guess.  Now the speculations are loaded with disinformation that can create a schism and the snag will kill any and all serious investigation and intellectual honesty about what really is happening.
The art of disinformation is there to fine tune your paranoia.
When I lived in Buenos Aries during the final days of the Dirty war I realized a very valuable thing. Paranoid fantasies eventually come true and those who have been labeled paranoid in the past become the rational thinkers in the present.
But while all of the paranoia shifts to heightened awareness there are still exceptions to all of this metaphysical rationale.
Exceptions that prove to be deadly for the scapegoat that winds up with a loaded gun in his mouth.  Waiting for his head to be aerated by someone whose paranoia becomes the driving force for their survival.  A person who believes their theories are true even when all of the evidence proves otherwise.
We must understand that a lot of what is covert is not obvious and in the police state, that which is allegedly obvious can be misleading because of cognitive Infiltration.
To summarize Alex Carey, in “The Public Relations Industry’s Secret War on Activists” there are  three important developments of great political importance: the growth of democracy, the growth of corporate power, and the growth of corporate propaganda as a means of protecting corporate power against democracy.
Your life in wartime is controlled by lie upon lie and in a police state it is difficult to trust your neighbor because they may be an informant or worse a terrorist waiting to snuff you out. There was a term that I created to illustrate this.  It is term called Pychocondria. A mental illness where mass paranoia creates an atmosphere where a scapegoat is ridiculed and blamed because of a vicious rumor or circumstantial associations,
This mental illness is being spread by one carrier to others who pass it on to unsuspecting people.
The carrier of this illness sits in Washington.  Cass Sunstein, the United States’ “regulatory czar”, co-authored a paper in 2008 entitled “Conspiracy Theories Causes and Cures”:
He states that because those who hold conspiracy theories typically suffer from a crippled epistemology, in accordance with which it is rational to hold such theories, the best response consists in cognitive infiltration of extremist groups.
Sunstein is in a position of power and the frightening thing is that no one has pointed out the obvious about this stupid and extremist plan.  Cognitive infiltration is flawed  because it is nothing more than a means to create an elaborate conspiracy to infiltrate groups of people who believe in conspiracy theories,  this is supposed to help them eliminate any idea that there are conspiracies being carried out by our governments.
We will come to point where no one will smell the excrement until their noses are rubbed in it at gunpoint.
That might sound extreme to some, and many people won’t see or even feel the effects of the paranoid government trying to confuse you or trying to recruit you into believing that your neighbor is a terrorist.
We are people who police each other. We have been programmed into thinking that there is a threat lurking in our neighborhoods and so we must turn in those who are not following the social norm. While there is always the possibility that someone in the neighborhood might be up to no good, the new sport is to turn your neighbor in for something that may or may not be subversive.
We have developed this sick need to protect ourselves from an unseen enemy. We are devolving into the attitude that internal security is more important than any violation of human rights.
We have the great and terrible fear that our neighbors are not above suspicion and so the innocents must suffer the consequences and terror that comes with a nation that has been programmed into believing in an agreed upon threat.
There is a “dirty little psyche war” that is going on in the United States. It seems sickeningly anthropophagous when you can see that people are either dying, or are being psychologically harassed at the hands of a paranoid group of individuals that believe in shooting first and asking questions later.
You may or may not see the trend but it is definitely becoming more and more the norm. We base a lot of what we consider entertainment on the pain and suffering of people who do not necessarily agree with us. A healthy case of prevention is always a good thing. However when it gets in the way of your common sense, you can take desperate measures that may not be reversed.
There is always the possibility that the agreed upon threat may not even be a threat at all and that someone or some organization is pushing your buttons to get you to act. The idea that Government and media could be the driving force behind your fears is a possibility. Seeing is believing, and believing can be deceiving.
The fear that a government or a police force could be plotting against you probably never crosses your trusting mind? Because they have been charged to serve and protect.
However there are still many people who will demand to be mothered and governed and policed because they fear the phantoms that lurk in the shadows. They believe that more laws that take away personal liberty are the answer.
Always remember what Pierre Joseph Proudhon wrote:
To be governed is to be watched over, inspected, spied upon, directed, legislated at, regulated, docketed, indoctrinated, preached at, controlled, assessed, weighed, censored, ordered about—
To be governed means, to be at each transaction, at each movement, Noted, registered, taxed, stamped, measured, evaluated, patented, licensed, authorized, endorsed, admonished, hampered, reformed, rebuked, arrested, held to ransom, exploited, monopolized, extorted. Squeezed, hoaxed, robbed, and then at least resistance… to be repressed, fined, abused, annoyed, followed, bullied, beaten, disarmed, garroted, imprisoned, machine gunned, judged, condemned, deported, flayed, sold, betrayed, and finally mocked, ridiculed, insulted, and dishonored.
Hysteria can cause you to beg for that kind of treatment. You will give in to that when you feel you have no choice. The idea of knuckling under to an unseen fear is as primitive as ancient civilizations offering virgins to volcanoes to please an angry God, real or imaginary.
We allegedly are already under surveillance, a clear sign that someone is afraid of insurgence. The popular demonizing of any revolutionary thought or any rebellion against the continuing loss of human rights in the United States will force a government who fears its people into shooting first and asking questions later.
In a time where people are unaware of what will happen next.
It seems that the American people want to be held in the trap of guilt, grief, and self-absorption. They want to point fingers at those who do not wish to play the dangerous game without even stopping to try and analyze what it is they are being fed. They are being held captive by a bunch of repeated lies. It is funny how certain stories are being repeated ad nauseum.
Ever get the feeling that stories that are repeated, played over and over again are the very stories that are the lies? Think of it, a true liar keeps repeating the lie in his heart so it becomes indelibly marked on the soul.
So perpetuating a lie, or disinformation is all part of the warped social engineering where people are in denial and take offense because no one wants to admit that they can lose their souls a little at a time.
But they are.
The country seems like they do not want to heal and this is why it is important to avoid getting caught up into the vicious circle of the consensus grief and anger over non-stories, half-truths, and outright lies.
But I can’t stop people from believing what they believe.
The media controllers want you to buy into the concept of terror waiting for you at every step. They want you to not trust anyone.  They want you to believe that you never know if the devil is sitting next you in crowded movie theater with a bomb.
It is the media’s job to get the herd to chew on their emotional cud.
It is easy to determine that every news outlet is pushing some predictive meme for your consideration. The saturation of news has now lowered the journalists to doing outrageous stories just for the emotional appeal.
News reporters go live to instant memorials and areas of sadness where people who want to be seen on camera go to drop off teddy bears and flowers. Some posture themselves in front of the camera and cross themselves so they can appear to be righteous.
After all, it is always nice to kid ourselves that God will always be on our side. Even when deep down you wonder if the side we are on is lying to us and promising us that they are doing everything for our safety including murdering innocent people.
I am not here to diminish faith. I would hope that there could be a healthy amount of good faith instead of fraudulent overtures made so that people will pretend to know with a surety that the politician who feigns sadness or cries on camera really gives a damn about you, the environment or the sick and the dying.
Every tragedy, disaster, or malady has a great marketing catch phrase, a very heart rendering piece of music that is compelling and color graphics zooming in with explosive sound effects and a booming voice that you must look up and submit to.
News programs now have to compete with movies for your attention. They need the close ups, the blood, the fire, and the nourishing sound bite that you can quote if anyone questions your ability to be politically aware. You can always quote the brilliant sound bite and pretend to be clever.
Now the media and the controllers are on the attack of the simple electronic dissident. The phantom dissident.  The one that they can pay off to confuse or kill off to create a martyr. Which later the creators of this martyr can discredit after their death and promote him as being crazy or worse.
Look at figures like Jim Jones, David Koresh, Marshall Applewhite.  Look at sleeper agents like the Belt way Sniper, the Columbine killers, and the gunman  at Virginia tech, Cho Seung-Hui.
They are all the bogeymen that allegedly acted alone and yet we see that perhaps there was someone in the shadows that pulled their trigger.  This starts the paranoid cycle all over again
On the anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing the government could not wait to kick the corpses of some168 who died on the 15th anniversary. It was a photo opportunity to denounce political enemies and internet bloggers who wish to question policies.   They have been called terrorists and activists are hoodlums that need to be rounded up and jailed for protesting the draconian measure that have been held in place by Barack Obama.
Former President Bill Clinton told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that he is worried that rising anger at the federal government could lead to another OKC bombing, implying that people who use the Internet to express dissent will be to blame for the violence.
However this kind of rhetoric sends a chilling effect because reminders of death and violence die hard and many people will find a scapegoat no matter how extreme it may be.
A 13-year-old girl was suspended from school after she was accused of threatening her teacher.  Taylor Trostle was suspended from Bleyl Middle School in Texas because she made her fingers look like a gun and pointed it at her teacher.   The teacher claims she feared for her life.

The girl has now been called a terroristic threat.  According to the school’s code of conduct, a terroristic threat is a level four violation, which is on par with assault, public lewdness, or selling alcohol or drugs at school. Any threat to a teacher falls under a ‘zero tolerance policy.’
It is strange to see all this hype over a girl with a finger gun.
Alfred Hitchcock once said that in order for fear to take hold, you have to create a scare or fear that is bigger than what people deal with every day.  It is important to reinforce the fear with a series of what ifs.  People have those what ifs buried deep in their psyche and then when something that seems out of the ordinary happens to them their imagination can create bigger monsters out of bunny rabbits.
Every dark prejudice then surfaces and scapegoating happens between races, political groups and religious groups.  We all hear that it is all the fault of the Jews, the blacks, the immigrants and the Muslims. But the truth is far more obvious. The truth is that the threat to the republic is from a place that has been hidden in plain sight all along.
The threat to the republic is known as the Permanent Revolution of The Open Conspiracy.   The open conspiracy wants to use cognitive infiltration to suppress any discussion about the attacks of 9/11 or any other criminal model that may lead to the possibility of treason or malfeasance.
If you take a look at social models and history you can always see that extreme fear and trauma based social engineering is always used as a tool to  motivate people in times of  economic crisis, and the greater the hardships on a people the more we see nationalist , socialist and state socialist movements become violent and cancerous.
Leaders in history have used Hegelian methods to insure that the people move themselves into accepting philosophies and Ideas that they first thought were deplorable. That is why in the crisis of  the September 11th, attacks we accepted any idea or scheme the government presented.  It was all for the safety of the new agenda. Not for the safety of the people.  It was Problem, reaction, solution and we accepted the solution without questioning motive.
Now that we are outgrowing our fear and the attacks are losing their hold, government wants to ensure that there will be no longer a question as to who was responsible for the attacks.
It is always a phantom who hates our freedom, and not the people who try to defend and enforce a lie by creating cognitive infiltration. It is now apparent that there are many ways this can create a cloud of paranoia.
Cognitive Infiltration is an arrow in the quiver of the police state and will be used to abuse your Cognitive Liberty.
