Jake Anderson is a writer, filmmaker, investigative journalist, activist, and digital publisher. He is also a captain of the FV Saga and a TV personality. Anderson has been featured in all seasons of the Discovery Channel documentary television series “Deadliest Catch” since 2007. Biography Jake Anderson was born on September 16, 1980, in Anacortes, Washington. He is a fourth-generation fisherman and grew up in a rich fishing environment. At the age of seventeen, he began salmon fishing in Bristol Bay, Alaska, and by the age of twenty-five, he was crab fishing in the heart of the Bering Sea.
