The government has been telling us for years that, because of the immigration problem or the threat of terrorism, we need a national ID and it is now becoming a reality. The Real ID Act would allow the government and businesses to capture information on Americans’ purchases, sex lives, political affiliations, and daily activities while playing an integral part of the new surveillance state.
