Larry Overman
Larry Overman is the owner of the Crescent Gold Mine, also known as the Ghost Mine, located in Sumpter, Oregon. He, along with his wife Stacie, have been featured in the Syfy reality TV series “Ghost Mine,” which aired from 2013 to 2015.
Before purchasing the mine, Larry had a 18-year career in the oil industry as an Asset Manager for a multinational oil field service company. He made the decision to leave the oil industry and risk everything to pursue his passion for gold mining in Eastern Oregon’s Elk Horn Mountains.
Larry’s journey as a gold mine owner took an unexpected turn when he discovered the mine’s history of hauntings. Despite initial reservations, he decided to continue mining and partnered with a Hollywood production team to create the reality TV series “Ghost Mine.” The show followed Larry and his team as they explored the paranormal activity at the mine.
Aside from his TV career, Larry has used his platform to give back to his community, particularly in the area of cancer fundraising. He has also expanded his business ventures to include Tesla Wolf Media, a multi-media production company.
In recent years, Larry has continued to explore the paranormal aspects of the mine, often accompanying experts on expeditions to investigate haunted locations. He remains committed to his gold mining endeavors and has announced plans for new live streaming reality shows and paranormal adventures.
