I think it needs to be said that “caring about politics” in modern America amounts to hopping from one manufactured “issue” to another like a frog on a lily pad, selecting from the narrow band of “opinions” that will not get you in trouble with your “allies”. However, we are learning that it will not make you popular at Thanksgiving gatherings or office Christmas parties.
I have always observed that politics cloud any topic but people never learn, even though I comment on what is happening. I try to give a different view but the majority of people cannot escape the 4 A.M. talking points that are used to frame every event as a political one.
Once you realize the ride just never stops, and that almost every “issue” is at most tangentially related to the actual lives of the people yelling, it all feels kind of silly.
But the serious part is that thanks to the media and their extremist left-right propaganda we are no longer the land of the free and home of the brave -we have become the land of provocations and counter-provocations, and this lends itself to instability.
Important issues all become that bread and circuses mayhem of mental mendacity or untruthfulness.
Names, faces, ethnicity and political views all take precedence after we see the aftermath of the chalked-out bodies and body bags.
When the smoke clears, all that is left is the commentary from victimized organizations and a media that is so obliged to push their political agenda by using magic words to get a reaction from those who are too busy to analyze the trivial truths that are hidden under the layers of lies that exist.
The reframing of basic everyday scenarios to elicit the maximum fear and political response with almost scientific precision is not by chance.
Social engineers understand that by framing questions in a certain manner such that they directly target automatic motivations, basic evolutionary mechanisms can be activated and weaponized.
Nearly four years have gone by and under the leadership of Joe Biden we have witnessed many people being punished or treated badly, accused of breaking so-called laws -- that really don't exist. There have been sentences carried out against people where no laws were broken -- and many of those who were in the public eye were handed down sentences based on just speaking their minds, or revealing hard truths that the government found most uncomfortable.
I think it is a bit too late to say to people that during the Covid 19 debacle, there were no laws that stated that you needed to be six feet apart, that you needed to wear a mask, and that you needed to get a vaccine.
All of these were mandates, that people assumed were laws and carried out their own vicious form of policing.
The sheep did what the pigs had ordered as in Animal Farm -- and as Orwell also said in 1984-- there were no real laws in Oceania.
To be more precise -- to quote 1984:
"Oceania also has no law, only crimes, . Nothing is illegal; social pressure is used to exert control, in place of law."
People were brainwashed into thinking that if the government said so -- the peers would enforce.. they did not have to make anything a law-- they could make up whatever charges they decide to implement and the proles would do their job self-policing the citizens.
If you remember in Orwell’s classic -- the proles were often distracted by entertainment and were ignorant about history --so it was easier for the party to make up mandates as they go -- to punish and torture those they wanted to make examples of.
In the last 4 years, people were targeted, bullied, harassed, arrested, and fined -- for bringing up different opinions and even demonstrating their research with documentation-- some had no documentation, but that did not mean that they had to be harassed by the courts and sued for unbelievable sums of money or even jailed for just being in Washington DC on January 6th.
Stop and ask yourself what laws were really broken. Think beyond the media accusations -- look beyond the lies that were being doled out frequently in the press.
Remember the accusations and rumors about Kyle Rittenhouse that were spread throughout the media that were not true -- Remember the laws that he was accused of breaking even though it was evident that he was trying to defend what was his which included his own life?
Do we really know what laws he broke? Or did we assume that he broke laws because the media played him up as a villain without cause?
Of course, he was acquitted of wrongdoing -- and the left were beside themselves. The whole time the media brutally accused Rittenhouse of so-called crimes -- the judge and jury did not see it that way.
The media did not retract their reports that claimed that it was a case of a white youth having shot and killed two black men. This deliberately cultivated a false narrative.
The truth is that all three of the shooting victims were white. But for some reason, a few news outlets and Twitter seem to think that Rittenhouse targeted three black people and murdered them in cold blood.
Other so-called talking points were generated in the media that were also unfounded.
Bottom line the media lied to fit an agenda.
It’s all part of a disinformation campaign designed to turn one tragic violent incident into a narrative that serves a bigger agenda by further dividing the public into racial and political factions.
The entire Kyle Rittenhouse situation is a perfect example of how an incident can be created, then exploited in the media, to create bitter political divisions and distract the public from greater issues.
They targeted people and then called them guilty --and those targeted were those who were assumed to be conservatives.
The targeted are “guilty”—but of what? The government, and “our free press” and Big Tech have said they’re “guilty,” so they are.
Well, in a country that believes in due process, we say they are innocent until proven guilty.
But not anymore.
No Laws dictated the torments of the last four years. just as Julian Assange was kidnapped, held and variously tortured over years on no legal basis whatsoever. Likewise, Alex Jones is now being broken on no legal grounds—like Trump, who’s “guilty” of what, exactly? We hear 34 counts -- but most Americans could probably only name one -- something something Stormy Daniels.
We are now seeing people in show trials conducted by state/corporate/“liberal” fiat.
What did Jones do? Besides speculating about crisis actors at Sandy Hook -- what law did that break? In this country, we usually don't sue someone over opinions that hurt people.
I don't want to be callous about the families that claim they were traumatized -- but this again is a clear and cut case of suing for a thought --just like jailing or fining someone for thought crime.
It can be argued that The Alex Jones case is purely Orwellian.
Based on what laws have excellent doctors like Meryl Nass been delicensed, and Sheri Tenpenny threatened with the same, and many other academics that have somehow broken laws by speaking out against climate change?
What about Owen Shroyer who was severely punished for two months in jail? They say it was because he was at the capital on January 6th -- but Owen believes it is because of his stance on election Fraud.
Is there a law saying that I have to believe in this sick form of statecraft? Is it at all lawful for the powerful to police my word usage-- and thoughts for the sake of their benefit?
They say "No one is above the Law."
I say you better be specific about what laws are broken -- instead of weaponizing the intelligence apparatus when you see fit.
That includes the media-- who lied for 7 years about what Former President Trump stated about the Charlottesville riot.
It is the infamous "There were good people on Both sides" quote that for many years has been used against him and even Joe Biden said that this is what motivated him to run for President -- because it was such a shock to hear a president make such a statement.
After 7 years of a crafted lie, it has now been admitted that the President was taken out of context and that he did condemn the neo-Nazis and white nationalists at the rally.
Again -- no laws were broken, but the trust we put in the media needs to be analyzed.
One person dared to do this and was jailed and tortured in prison for revealing the truth about the government and its corruption.
Julian Assange.
Assange's treatment by the courts basically destroys all ideological indoctrination , of the fairness of our political and judicial systems, of media independence, and of a moral duty – to police the planet so often trump cold facts.
Especially when, on matters that do not cut to the heart of ruling class interests, the myths are not wholly inaccurate.
It is Julian Assange’s misfortune – and ours, if we could but see beyond the ends of our noses – that the threat he posed through truthful journalism did indeed cut to the heart of ruling-class interests.
The elite and their intelligence apparatus were threatened --and so it was somehow thought to put people in danger. One in particular was Hillary Clinton.
Assange was the central pillar of Democratic paranoia and vengefulness regarding the loss of Hillary Clinton in 2016.
The media who was shocked that their candidate lost to Donald Trump -- created an imaginary link between Russian hacking, the servers of the Democratic National Committee, and the release of emails via Julian Assange and WikiLeaks.
Over time, that account has become an article of faith, with grave conclusions being believed by the left: Julian Assange and Russia elected Donald Trump.
But it can be said that Assange's long ordeal was because they were afraid that he would reveal that the whole Russia gate accusations were a hoax.
He came to international attention in 2010 after WikiLeaks published a series of leaks from Chelsea Manning, a former United States Army intelligence analyst: footage of a U.S. airstrike in Baghdad, U.S. military logs from the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, and U.S. diplomatic cables.
This is where it was reported that he endangered the lives of American military personnel.
Julian Assange is soon scheduled to appear before a US Court on the island of Saipan, where he is expected to plead guilty to a single violation of the Espionage Act, namely conspiring to obtain and disclose national defense information.
Assange is guilty of no crime. It is the United States government that operates in violation of the law and, by suppressing Julian Assange’s duty as a publisher to expose deception on the part of the government about war crimes committed by American servicemembers in Iraq and other lies and deceptions perpetrated by the State Department and Department of Defense, in gross disregard for the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States.
By subjecting Julian Assange to five years of imprisonment under horrific conditions in a British maximum-security prison, where he was held under solitary confinement 23 hours a day, the US government broke the spirit and will of a man whose cause had come to personify the fundamental issue of free speech.
Now, after many years of Torment -- Assange has become a free man -- but under conditions that still show the United States as being an oppressive entity when it comes to free press and freedom of speech.
This does not sit well with the Neocons, Liberal interventionists, war hawks, and Hillary Clinton Supporters.
Hillary Clinton -- once said of Assange : "He must answer for what he has done."
What exactly -- showing how corrupt she is?
Assange had to make a plea deal.
By allowing the US government to compel Julian Assange to plead guilty to a crime he did not commit, America has condemned itself to be a land where telling the truth is a crime.
One of Assange’s lawyers, Jennifer Robinson, said after the hearing that the whole ordeal "sets a dangerous precedent that should be a concern to journalists everywhere."
During the hearing, he appeared emotional and there were moments of humor and laughter in interaction with the judge and with the court, according to The Guardian. For example, when the judge questioned whether satisfied with the plea conditions, Assange responded: "It might depend on the outcome." This immediately drew some laughter in the courtroom.
Chief Judge Ramona Manglona said at the start: "Not many people recognize we are part of the United States, but that is true." By the end, she pronounced: "It appears this case ends with me" and followed with "I hope there will be some peace restored."
Crucially, the judge said something that marks a significant blow to Assange's and WikiLeaks' detractors, who have long maintained that the leaks - particularly the Iraq and Afghan war logs - put intelligence officers and foreign assets in danger and may have gotten some killed.
Manglona explained that the key to the deal for his freedom was that he already served years in a notorious and harsh UK prison, but also that no actual physical harm was actually caused due to Assange’s actions.
"You stand before me to be sentenced in this criminal action," the judge said. "I would note the following: Timing matters. If this case was brought before me sometime near 2012, without the benefit of what I know now, that you served a period of imprisonment... is apparently one of the harshest facilities in the United Kingdom."
The Australian parliament had also begun publicly lobbying for Assange's freedom starting months ago, and this was also essential in building pressure on the Biden administration.
There’s another significant fact – the government has indicated there is no personal victim here. That tells me the dissemination of this information did not result in any known physical injury," the judge continued.
All of this bad treatment of a journalist -- and even in the end he had to plea for his freedom.
Former intelligence officials and national security pundits have been livid and disappointed over the plea deal, claiming Assange's leaks got people killed and harmed US operations abroad.
Of course, this all was being reported by the CIA.
CIA Analyst Gail Helt said on Twitter:
"He is a despicable Russian asset who harmed hundreds of people and dismissed them like they didn’t matter."
Hillary Clinton's Russian conspiracy theories will never die -- even when they have been unfounded -- no one has the guts to stand up and call out her paranoia-- and we are told the right are the only conspiracy theorists out there.
Assange just inconvenienced her campaign and the intelligence apparatus -- journalists do that from time to time.
That is what journalists do --at least they used to -- now they are just a mouthpiece for the Pentagon.
The Deep State has been nothing short of obsessed with payback against Julian Assange for exposing all their war crimes, corruption, lies, hypocrisy, and abuse of power. They want to make an example of him as a warning to others.
Every American, whether they operate as a journalist or simply a citizen who believes in the fundamental right of free speech and a free press, must understand the significance of what Assange’s plea deal means—it is a frontal assault on free speech,
Julian Assange is free, but free speech and the notion of a free press is dead in America today, killed by our collective passivity in the face of the brutalization of Julian Assange by the US government for the “crime” of exposing their crimes for all the world to see.
We are told that no one is above the law_- and now we wonder what law? Is it unlawful to reveal the truth? Oppressors from Hitler to Stalin knew that oppressing free speech, and the press gave them carte blanche, to abuse their power.
The truth is a major casualty in all warfare.
The truth no longer sets us free.
We have to make pleas to not be jailed harassed or sued if we have an emotional opinion -- or when we reveal the moves of the deep state.
America is a far worse place today than it was before our government compelled this plea agreement from Julian Assange.
It is just one more black mark in our history --we just can't allow the truth to be told no matter how ugly it becomes.
